4 12in Emminence Speakers. 300W. 2 jacks, main and extension. Removable castors included.

Silcone sealed. Sturdy. I think it is a nice looking cabinet. I purchased the one with the black grille cloth. I also like the gray cloth cabinet.

It would be nice to have a stereo option. But if you really needed it, the inside seems easy enough to access. Although this wouldn't be good for the 5 year ltd warranty.

Sound Quality : 10
Signal chain: Peavey LTD HB --> Engl 530 Tube preamp running through a Rocktron Hush (noise gate only) into a Peavey 50/50, bridged to 100W mono.

I am in love with this thing. It is great across all tones and volumes the setup puts out. It's great running the guitar straight through to the power amp, using the pre to get a little--or a lot--of dirt. With the gain turned up on the lead channel... this thing will punch you in the chest and rip your head off.

Reliability : No Opinion
I'm not the best to testify about regular use as I've have it for about a month. I've put some respectable hours into it though.

Would definitely rely on this thing. I would be comfortable gigging without a back up. Solid piece of equipment. You can tell it is a great build quality just by looking at it.

I haven't had to deal with the company directly, but I do have an anecdote.

The cabinet was delivered during the week while I was at work. I live near downtown in a "major" city. It had snowed withing the past 24 hours, but all this was melting and running of the roofs. UPS left it on the stoop, outside. Not sitting flat but angled on 2 of 3 concrete steps leading up the the door. A good quarter to a third of the box was visibly soaked.

Long story short, I ended up unpacking it. The cabinet was shrink wrapped and had a ton of corner cushion pieces effectively isolating it from the actual box. Bone dry.

Overall Rating : 10
Playing 6 (7?) years. Last rig was the Line 6 Spider III Half stack. Great piece of gear, but moving up a bit.

Would replace it with the same. Maybe the gray clothed version.

I would only issue one warning: this cab is a little heavy than others I've handled. But if you don't already have a bad back, it's not going to give you one.

I bought this without testing, after reading 30+ user reviews. No regrets.

The cabs were made in 2005. They are very versatile we played 2 different heads through them - Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier & Krank Revolution head. The style of music we play is Southern Metal in the vein of Pantera/COC and it fits perfect for the Heaviness we require and the subtle slower groove songs. The cabs have been used in a live setting as well as standard practice and they sound/react amazingly.

2 Gibson Les Paul Customs(ash/sunburst) with EMG's. They definitely suit our style of music we 1st heard them when we opened for IT DIES TODAY they were running the exact same setup as our guitar player and we asked them about their tones. They recommened BASSON and then we noticed the reviews they were receiving and saw magazine ads which caught our attention. The sounds created the speakers have tons of variety it brings out the best in both highs/lows and really captures the Live vibe we're shooting for.

Reliability : 10
The cabs seem very realiable as we have a backup already it's doing the job we require of it. Lookin forward to many upcoming years of ROCKING!

Called and dealt with them directly Shawn was VERY helpful, informed me of their policies on features/returns/warranty/shipping. Very impressed with Customer Service/Support. Would highly recommend emailing with questions, very quick to respond and sent tracking #'s when the cabs actually shipped and called/emailed with a followup to see if they had arrived. These guys were eager to help and that was VERY IMPRESSIVE!

We've been playing together wish this band since 2000 and overall been playing guitar for over 15 years total. The other gear I own in addition to the BASSON 4x12 Slant/Straight cabs is the MESA BOOGIE Dual Rectifier Head Full stack Slant/Straight 4x12 cabs, KRANK Revolution Head, BOSS Chromatic Tuner Pedal, Boss Line Selector, MXR Wylde Overdrive, MXR Stereo Chorus Pedal, KRANK Channel Master Pedal,AUTOMAGIC Silver Machine Wah Pedal, GIBSON Les Paul Custom Guitar Ash,GIBSON Les Paul Custom Guitar Sunburst. I think the cabs are very versatile and definitely add to our onstage sound/presence. We chose this product because of the impression they made with us in a live scenario and the product marketing. Lookin forward to many Rockin years with BASSON! You Damn Right!

I would assume it was made this year. I play a lot of metal, but I play a little bit of everything I can. I haven't had it for very long but I have friends that gig with these cabs constantly and they've never had a problem. This cab is a monster!

Sound Quality : 10
I mainly use a Schecter Devil Tribal Elite with the stock Seymour Designed pickups, although I'm looking to throw in an EMG in the bridge since I only use one pickup, I've removed the other. This cab sounds amazing. It pushes out the most brutal distortion from my 5150 blockletter and sparkles when you're playing clean. If you know the 5150, it's a beast of a head, and this cab handles it without any problems whatsoever. Out of any of the cabs I've played with the Basson cabs color your sound the least, they let your tone shine. Great low-end response and amazing clarity in the highs.

Reliability : 10
As far as I can tell this thing is a tank. It's made very well, The thing weighs about 120 pounds. I've never seen a cab that can take a beating like a Basson.

I haven't needed any repairs at all so far, and neither has anyone I know who owns one of these cabs. Ordering the cab was easy as pie. Their employees are top notch, laid back, and exteremely helpful. I had e-mails and phone calls making sure that the cab was fine once it was delivered.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing/developing my current style for about 7 years now. If this thing was stolen or lost, I would have another on the way the same day. I'm planning on getting another one shipped as soon as I have the extra cash. Out of any of the cabs I've played, the Basson is by far superior to anything else I've had experience with. Mesa, Crate, Marshall, anything. The only thing about the cab is it weighs a ton, but it's well worth the extra work of lugging it around. BUY BASSON!

This amp was actually made early this year (04) I play in 2 metal bands, and this amp stands up to both of them. (Which is amazing, because I put this thing through abuse times 2, although this will affect the cosmetic appearance, the sound is never affected.) It stands up to the constant blaring volume - It stands up to traveling around and playing club after club in two bands - it stands up to every practice - as well as being thrown in and out of trucks all week long to get where we need to be. I really don't require a whole lot of features,. I use a Line 6 head, with a digitech whammy pedal, so all the features I require come from those components. Again, I use this amp all over the place, and it is a monster in terms of the power/volume it will put out.

Sound Quality : 10
We use ESP 7 string guitars, with unfortunatley the HZ EMG pickups (not a fan) however, soon will be upgrading to the EMG 81's which will absilutley scream - but that has nothing to do with the cab - As said before, it holds up very well for my 2 metal bands. No noise at all on these cabs, no rattling of loose parts, no buzzing, nothing at all. As for sounds, it will make whatever sound the head pushes through it. Clean channel comes through just fine -very clear articulate tone. Does not NOT distort at higher volumes at all. The distortion sound through the amp, no matter what head you have, or processor, pedal, this thing will push it hard and loud. Very brutal for sure.

Reliability : 9
Vey reliable, I do use this as my one and only travel amp, with out back up, however, I don't particularly like not having a back up anything around, while on the road, but to this day, it has yet to let me down, and it has been through hell and back this year already.

Customer Support : 10
Very easy going, very professional. We had actually needed to have the wheels reset on one of the cabs, as we did a little off roading lol, and they sent us brand new ones out immediatley. I was pretty shocked that they did that, and that it was done so fast. Warranty is good for 5 yrs!

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing in bands non stop for probably close to 8 yrs now. As far as other cabs - I used a beat up old Marshall cab, but now I only use the Basson Sound cab, as it really hits the tones I need to hit. I particularly enjoy how clear the tone is at high volumes, this amp can really scream. I had compared it to the likes of Crate BV cabs - to the Marshall I had. Really as soons as I heard Basson, I felt I didn't need to shop around any longer, I knew I had found what I was looking for. As fars as what I wish it had - hmm maybe stronger wheels on the guitar cabs lol - The bass cabs have more durabale wheels, but not the guitar cabs. Obviously the wheels have no bearing on the sound, so that complaint is very minor. You just got to heave it around lol. If it were lost or stolen, I definatley would get another one. I think Im hooked lol. I honestly can say I love everything about it. There is noting to hate.
