For only costing me $150 Canadian. It was a good bargin. The Jensen speakers are great for the price. When driving higher mids to the cab with lots of bass, the cab falls flat on its face at high volumes. I run multiple guitars threw my setup, one being a Indie FDL Les Paul Copy, you can check them out at www.indieguitars.ca, also a Peavey Wolfgang special USA, and a 1984 Hamer Slammer(the 26 Fret one) with a EMG 81 in the bridge. I run one of those threw my Digitech RP7 Effects unit (pedal) , then threw a decimator G string(the digitechs noise gate sucks) the threw a boss TU2 tuner. Then to my Peavey Valve king vk100 all tube head. One thing i have to give this amp, is its able to take very, very loud volumes without a massive amount of bass. High's are nice and sharp, but not so sharp that there harsh, but nice and smooth, but when driving mids it doesn't like it to much, with my amp having the resonance feature, i can tighten and loosen the bass up, so i can make the speaker flop like an old lady, or have them nice and tight. For clean sounds its very nice and chimey, but again the speakers seam to buckle under the bass.

Reliability : 10
I could throw it out of a moving truck, get struck by a fully loaded 18-wheeler, throw it back in the truck and still gig it the same night. in other works its built like a tank, and solid as a rock.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never had to use it.

Overall Rating : 8
Ive used this cab for about 6 months. no problems yet, looks nice, sounds good, and would recommend it someone that is running an all tube setup. I don't know how it sounds threw a transistor amp.

Sorry guys, but this is the worst cab I've ever heard. These Jensen speakers are not even voiced for electric guitar ! Compared to my Marshalls (one with greenbacks and the other with G12T 75's) they sound flat, ice cold and dead. No sustain, no creamy crunchy guitar tone, no nothing. Behringer makes a lot of good stuff at incredible prices, but these cabs aren't even worth the 278 Euros.

They seem to be well-built, so if you can get one for 100 Euros and then change the speakers you can have yourself a good cab that'll cost you about 300 Euros. Big brand cabs are expensive, but if you buy them second hand you pay half the price or even less.

What more can I say. Split cab, Stereo/Mono.

Sound Quality : 10
I use a PODXT Pro through a Mackie Juice 800 power amp.
Guitars are all Ibanez JEMS.
I have two flat cabs. One either side of the stage for back line. Run left and right. These babies are heavy. Ask my roadie (LOL) he is 6ft4 though, so he can handle it.
Alot of people are dissing these cabs. I am sorry but. The bottem end on these cabs are so tight that even a bass guitar sounds sweet through them.

Reliability : 10
Yes I can definatly depend on them.

Don't know they are brand new

Been playing 22 years. If it was stolen they would get replaced very quickly.

I have been using Marshalls in the past and a friend mensioned about these so i thought to give them a try. And wow!!! the sound is just how i wanted it.

All the standard features you'd expect in a 4x12. The casters are so cheap, that you'd be better off with no casters. They WILL NOT turn!

Sound Quality : 1
This cab has got to be the biggest piece of crap I've ever heard! The highs are harsh, the lows are mush, and there are some extreme vibration problems at certain frequencies. I have switched to a 4x12 with Vintage 30's, and will NEVER use anything else again.

Reliability : 5
You can rely on these sounding like crap every time! You get what you pay for! Everything in this cab, from the 100% particle board construction, to the Jensen speakers, to the bottom shelf casters is CHEAP! You do not get great tone by cutting corners.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 1
I've been playing, recording, touring for longer than I'd care to admit. I previously used 4 marshall 4x12's, and decided to downsize to 2 2x12 cabs, but found them lacking the low end I had grown used to. So I decided to try the Behringer 4x12 after having good luck with some of there other gear. Big mistake! I have never tried a cab of any configuration that sounded worse. If this cab were stolen, I'd consider it a blessing. If your in the market for a 4x12, save yourself the time and money, and buy a used 4x12, or anything with Vintage 30's. I've used everything available, and nothing sounds as good for guitar as Vintage 30's.

Brand new, can't remember price just over #100, awesome bargain. These cabs are very solid as is all the fittings. They are far tougher than the new Marshall range and about a third of the price. I play modern rock, the cab is great for that. Spray the caster spindles with WD40 once a month and they'll be ok. Four Jensen speakers, how do they do that for this price!

Sound Quality : 10
Les Paul, custom shop pickups and Boss ME50, laney R4H, yes it's a bass amp, bass amps make great rock & metal guitar amps. Great for rock and Metal.
I've read instances of people saying these cabs lack bass end. Are you kidding, there's something wrong with your hearing! They would be great cabs bass as well.
The speakers have to be run in, they sound their best after a couple of months hard playing.

Reliability : 10
Cab is very tough so far has stood up to loads of session, recording & gig work, everything is still working & in place, still looks newish!
Casters are ok due to regular oiling. Very dependable.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to call so no idea.

Overall Rating : 10
Don't get ripped of by Marshall, these are better quality. You could by two for less than one Marshall.

no i dont know when it was made but i bought it new !
yeah man i was reading for 2 weeks reviews about the bg412f and some were saying that it got no lows or so on today i was blown away by the quality of the sound and strength, im using crate gt1200h head amp 120watts i use this set for band practise to keep them in the practise room but today im thinking to buy the bg412h and keep this full stack as my main stack . it got mono .stereo switch , people were complaining about the wheels tell now they works just fine maybe later?!
yeah it got THE POWER of 400watts so you will hitt wall of sound , im thinking to buy ENGL POWERBALL and i think this behringer will take it all and more i play very selective ,fast heavy death/thrash metal so i need sound that gives me every small detail i play fast palm muted drilled riffs and shreading solos so trust me to hell with marshalls and the rest this one cheaper and more powerfull and looks cool too

Sound Quality : 10
ibanez rg seymour duncan sh-13b, sh-1n
death/thrash metal
crystal clear even with evil destortion i mean it gives selective sound even with the most harsh settings you got
hmm it gives very rich and fat sound , i think it depends on the guitar and amp too
clean channel is very clean and abit sharp maybe its my pickup that gives the sharpness
even i play with my gain set on 12-1pm ithink it gives extra power to it that makes me play at 10-11pm

Reliability : 10
looks like tank , and looks nice too heavy like hell and built to stay
i have it since one day but i can tell it used to be tank recycled as musical equipment

Customer Support : 10
thier dealer helps almost 24hours a day , fast and nice people

if you play mesas , or middle class crate, randall....etc this fits all you done have to worry about your tone because it gives you extra tone extra warmness and extra VOLUME buy it for its the cheapest in price too

uhh, nothing out of the world, nothing you havent seen on any other cab.

Sound Quality : 9
im using some weird jackson guitar, i looked at www.jackson.com and i couldnt find it anywhere, emg81 pickups. i play...i dunot know i would like to say metal but people usually accosiate it with pantera, in flames and the like, i play the same basic thing spen up and more solo's, like kill em all days metallica with a wee more distortion. i went to guitar center and im not jokine, they ad a section of cabs and this one was next to a Marshall 1960A . and the behringer sounded WAY better, it was pushing some mesa head, i think it was a rectifyer, i dont know much about mesas -_-, any way, they wer both pushing the same head and the behringer had a more DEFINED sound, it had NO HUM, the marshall gave extremely little, almost nothing but i think at higher volumes it could be annoying, and the behringer sounded AMAZING on clean, wow!!! i was so amazed, i got that nothing else matters" sound and with a little tweaking the stairway to heaven, i whipped out my mp3 player and goddam, it sounded almost the same.
but on the OTHER side of the behringer was a mesa cab and it was..... godlike.

Reliability : 9
built like a tank, but uve probably heard this alot, the casters SUCK, i tried greasin the wheels and nothing, the guy at guitar center offered to change them for free i just had to buy them.

Customer Support : No Opinion
i have yet to use them.

Overall Rating : 10
trully a fantastic value, if it can hold its own against a $750.00 marshall and sound a little better, your stupid not to buy it.

Mono-8 ohms, switchable to stereo. Handles 400 Watts. Jensen Speakers. Casters- not the best, but you can swap them out for new ones.

Sound Quality : 8
First off, for a really cheap cab, it sounds great. For me, at low volumes, its got a very trebly sound, and doesnt sound too great. However, when I practice with the band (punk rock ala Social D, Dropkick Murphys, LCA, Green Day, etc) it really fills out sonically, which is especially useful for a trio. Crank your amp past five, and you get awesome bass respone, nice mids, and a nice amount of bite to cut through the mix. The cab really handles high volumes great, and the bass doesnt fart out. In other words, it can take whatever your amp can dish. Good, bright and smooth clean sounds, with plenty of bass. Sounds great with a nice head mic'd up at gigs. Like i said, great for the money!

Reliability : 10
I've been gigging/practicing with it for the past year and a half, and so far, not a single problem.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with them.

Overall Rating : 9
Overall, if you're looking for a cheap cab that is versatile and reliable, then this is for you. Great clean sounds, very tight bass and nice top end. Grainy sounding at low volumes, but fills out nicely when your amp is cranked. It hasnt failed me yet and I'll keep using it.

Well, hmmmmmmmm, it's a speaker cab right? Two jacks and a mono/stereo switch

Sound Quality : 10
I use a jcm 800 2203 (100 Watts) and mainly my epi les paul zw EMG setup. I bought this cab without testing it in store, simply cause it's damn cheap and I didn't have much cash. When took it for a spin at home I was impressed. I play metal, rock, bit of blues, whatever all kinds of stuff you can play with a guitar. The cab and the amp worked fine with all styles. I mean we all know that old marshalls aren't really responsive to eq settings. But I could get it all with this cab. Sparkly clean sound (at least as much as you can expect from a master volume marshall), ultra heavy, bassy, chunky metal sounds, to blistering, razor sharp lead sound. I've actually got the old version of the cab without the jensen speaker (mine's with custom shark speakers or something) and I can't complain. Volume is definately enough. It blows your ears on Volume 2 of my amp.
I once played on 5 for the fun of it, at least until the crowd began to leave because it was too loud and nobody could hear our drummer.

Reliability : 10
Well its still working. The metal plate covering and everything else is rocksolid.

Cab has everything you would expect and that 400 watts (not that I would ever rub 400 watts to it) kicks ass.

Sound Quality : 8
My style is mostly rock, metal but I think this cab would be good for any style. I bought it as a second cabinet and I think it sounds better than my peavey 412MS (750+tax new) for like 1/2 the price(419+tax).
I use a lot of gear (I am a gear whore).
Main Guitars:
Jackson RR Edition - EMG Active Pickups
Ibanez Jem 77FP - Duncan
Kramer Baretta - Duncan Zebra
Amps(used through the cabs at one time or another):
Marshall JCM 800 2205
Peavey Duel 212 Combo (with external speaker jacks) 120watts
Peave Rockmaster preamp->Peavey Classic 60/60 Power amp
Effects(in the effects loop for Peavey Duel, and JCM800 but inline with Rockmaster preamp for stereo)
Alesis Midiverb 4
Behringer 2024 Virtualizer Pro

If you have one cabinet then add this one to your arsenal because everyone knows that 8 12's is twice as good as 4 12's right???
This cab was a demo model so it may have already been "broken in" and I noticed it was a tighter sound than my peavey cab. I am totally pleased witht this cab. Can't compare it to a Marshall, or mesa because I have never owned one of those.

My one gripe which has been mentioned earlier is that the castors really suck gorilla ass. you push it one way and it wants to got the other way. Oh well, still sounds good!

Reliability : No Opinion
Don't know only had it for a month. Its under warranty for a year so what do I care??

I would definatey buy another one, they are cheap and sound good (at least mine does anyways)

Plain 4x12, mono/stereo switch, 2 inputs. 16ohm impedance in mono 8ohm per channel in stereo.
When used in mono the second input can be used as a bridge output for a second cabinet.
It's made of plywood and mdf, vinyl covering, metal grill, metal corners and METAL HANDLES (not plastic like marshalls...).
It weights more than other cabs like marshalls.

Sound Quality : 9
Great sounding cab.
It's very smooth, with my Gibson SG the clean sounds are really creamy, great for soft chords or jazzy leads, with distortion it's still smooth an has a nice definition, at least with my setup.
I think it's a great cab for hard rock or metal beacause it allows you to use montrous distortions keeping a smooth top end plus an awesome bottom end "thump".
It really shakes the wall (I usually feel it in my stomach!) and the speakers are absolutely clean sounding, they won't color the sound at all, is simple words what you hears is what comes out of your poweramp.

Reliability : No Opinion
Seems to be built like a tank but it's early to give an opinion.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Nothing to say!

Overall Rating : 10
First of all it's a STEAL for the price.
Gives marshall and all the others a RRRRUUUNNNN for the money, sounds great, built like a tank and looks good.
I've been playing for 6 years, my curent setup is:
Gibson SG -> Rocktron Progap Ultra preamp -> Digitech RP20 in the FX loop used for FX and as MIDI pedalboard -> Peavey Classic 50/50 tube poweramp -> Behringer 4x12 cab.
With this setup I can get almost every possible sound, from king of klean to bone crushing distortion and anything in between.
The beringher is great to tame a little bit the rocktron (which is very aggressive sounding) and easily handles any bone crushing bottom end.

stereo/mono switch. great idea
jensens. sound ok, could be better. loud.
box, a bit ordinary. quite shit actualy.
but the casters...
they are a magical work of an imense pile of smelling shit. these casters not only drag into the concrete while trying to force your way anywhere, but they come pre-rusted and bent and with bits missing.
You've done well.

i play a mesa 50watt rectifier head with an old school ibanez 770 tuned to B using 12-70 guage strings, for insane crazy screamy death hardcore(www.means-to-an-end.com), and a les paul, both with dimarzio pickups.
i also play in an ABBA cover band.

but anyway, box sounds good with the setup i have. love the 400watt.
those casters though. fuck...

I dont know what these other guys are talking about, they are probably behringer employees. I took the cab for a test run in the store and it made all the heads sound like shit. Its made with particle board, shitty handles, shitty jensen speakers. What really pissed me off is that the sales representitive told me they were celestion v30's in it when i could see the 4 Jensen tags all over it... at first glance it looked okay but the cab really was a peice of shit. I never have bought one and I never will.
Dont Buy a behringer cab, save a bit of dough and get a mesa, or any other brand for that matter, these cabs suck.

Hey all!
This is a short supplement to my original review.
I think one of the reasons that some people gave these Behringer Cabinets bad reviews in the beginning was because they were mad as hell that they spent so much money on Marshall and Mesa Cabs( OR other brands ) in the past, and there they sat; listening to an incredible 4X12 that cost only a quarter of what they paid for a "Brand Name"!!! LOL!!!

Sound Quality : 10
I just wanted to add that using my RP-2000, I have programs both WITH and WITHOUT cabinet simulation, and that the Cab Sim adds MASSIVE Low End Punch( like the Rocktron "Reactance" feature ) that the Behringer just eats up like a Plate O' Ribs, baby! LOL!!!

I just LOVE this freakin' Cabinet; I turn my power amp about halfway up( I've got 450 watts baby!!! ) and just peel enamel till' the cows come home!!!

Oh YEAH...I WILL be buying another one to complete "Stackosaurus REX"!!! LOL!!!!!

People please; don't buy these cabs; I want that killer sound ALL TO MYSELF!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

I play in a progressive metal that requires a variety of tones. My setup is...
Guitars: Ibanez RG7620, Kramer 7-string, Steinberger GU-7R
Rack: Rocktron Chameleon> BBE Sonic Maximizer> Rocktron Velocity 300 poweramp
Pedals: ART X-15 Midi Footcontroller, Dunlop 95Q Wah

This sucker blows away EVERY cab on the market! I've owned cabs from Marshall, Mesa, Peavey, & Genz-Benz in the past, but the clarity from the Behringer cab is unparallel.

I also love the fact that the cab has a 400W rating. It's able to take a ton of power & the speakers do not distort or get muddy. I prefer my distortion to come straight from the preamp & I like that the speakers reproduce my sound with the utmost clarity.

Huge lows, smooth mids, & crisp highs. IT IS A STEAL at this price!

Reliability : 10
So far, very reliable. It's built like a tank!

I've been playing for 19 years.
I would definately buy another one if this one were stolen or lost.
The only bitch I have is this...I wish the cab had either wheel inserts in the top of the cab or interlocking corner pieces (to facilitate secure cabinet stacking).

All in all, it's a great cab. Dont' waste lots of money on other cabs. Buy this instead...you WON'T regret it.

4 X 12 STEREO CABINET, STRAIGHT FRONT, with 400 Watts handling capability.
Mono/Stereo Switch in back of Cabinet.
100-watt Behringer "Shark" Speakers.

Sound Quality : 10
Using with a 450-watt Carvin "Fet" series MOSFET AMPLIFIER, and DIGITECH RP 2000 Processor / Preamp/Modeler. Tones are very warm and punchy with power to spare. Speakers are sensitive to Stereo effects and EQ tweaks.
I really like these speakers; they don't fart-out at high decibles, and they seem to cut-out that annoying high pitched "hiss" that you can hear standing in front of a Marshall 1960A when it's cranked-up. That is NOT to say that the speakers lack Highs, quite the contrary; the highs come across as more "buttery" and smooth as opposed to transient and slicing.
I think that the earliest versions of these cabs, especially that "slanted baffle" design, weren't put together as well as these newer ones, and that's probably why they got such a bad reputation.
Value-wise, I seriously doubt that there's ANYTHING out there that comes even close to these. I remember my former guitarists' Marshall Cabs, and they have NOTHING on these cabinets in the sound dept. I think Mesa, Randall, and Carvin may use better woods( I haven't popped the back to check the specs yet ), but these Behringer Cabs have absolutely NOTHING to be ashamed of; they're a MAJOR Price/Performance winner.
