I'll keep this short - Check out these puppies, they are superb! I bought 2 of these (1 angled & 1 straight) to go with my Engl Thunder 50 head & they sound great. Jenson speakers, mono/stereo. 8/16 ohm. These cabs eat Marshall's for breakfast!

These provide the low end thud I require that I couldn't get from my previous Marshalls or Mesas. Only vintage Fane loaded Hiwatt cabs have come close to these Behringers for me.

Same as Engl - German so that's good enough for me. They look like they can stand up to the toughest shit - they are built to last for sure.

When I initially got the cabinet I was very impressed by its looks and construction to say the least. The sounds from it were acutally very good but the highs were very powerful and borderline TOO powerful. The bass wasn't near as heavy as I liked but still it sounded good. Now that the speakers have had some time to break in there has been a major change. The highs aren't overbearing anymore and I was able to use my original treble settings. This is after having to change it from 6 or 7 down to 3 maybe 4!! After about two weeks the bass responce had tripled! It went from moderately powered bass and volume to full and powerful with a fair amount of volume gain but not too extreme. The mid was very solid before but seems to be much fuller and
more projecting now. I like two swap out two speakers in 4x12 cabs with bass speakers but not so sure I will now that these ones have broken in. I would definitely replace them if they were blown with these same Behringer speakers. It still isn't distorting on me and has the utmost clarity for playing through clean. Behringer has really done well.

A great sounding cabinet. Ignore other posts if they slam it. It's built like a tank and the sound is superb. A great cabinet for any style music.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another and I plan to get ATLEAST one more!
Just give the speakers some time to break in if your not initially happy. I was but before the speakers were broken in it wasn't quite the sound I knew 4x12 cabs for having. Crate, Marshall or Peavey? Forget it, buy yourself a Behringer and get better construction and a cabinet capable of producing a very versatile sound. With a good quality head it can pull off anything and it's extremely loud.

I think you could get pretty much any damn sound you want from this cab. I use an Ibanez Tone Blaster TB100H Head through this and the dstortions sound brutal and the cleans sound so clean it's like you used Pinesol on em'. This is one to own.

It seems like it's very dependable. It's built like a damn Sherman (thats a tank for you morons). I think you could drop it off a building and it would still work.

Sounds fine across the board. I would say that it is almost as good as my old Marshall JCM800 4x12. It is not quite as tight as the Marshall but REALLY close for 1/4 the price! I use older Les Pauls, a Godin Solid AC, and a Nashville Tele.

Built like a brick. Heavy and solid. Nice handles, metal corners, vinyl covering. It is too soon to tell how the speakers will hold up. One was shipped with Shark speakers and one was shipped with Jensons. I paid the same price and the swag is the same. Maybe a mistake was made at the factory and the Jensons were put in by mistake! (my gain) Anyway, the cabinets sound identical.

I have been playing for 25 years-17 as a pro. I play clubs, national shows, and do lots of studio work. I work with new artists as well as multi-Grammy winning artists. I've used almost every cabinet known to man at some time or another. These are fine cabinets for live shows and are excellent for the price. I plan on using 4 of them on an upcoming spring 2004 tour. Don't be afraid of the low price. Just remember...If you want it to sound just like a Rectifier cab or a Marshall it won't hit it right on the head. If you need the "Cock-Value" of the big names you should save your money for another year. It does however, have enough balls and quality for someone to find their sound with no problem. I think they look bad ass too. I'm very happy with my first two Behringer cabinets!

4 x 12' speakers. 400 watts. 16 ohm mono or 8 ohm x 2 channels stereo operation. Second jack works as an out when in mono mode. HEAVY duty metal carrying handles, high quality casters and chromed corner guards. Typical black Tolex covering. Made in 2003
A very good looking cabinet.

I own many customized guitars(volume kits, 2 meg pots exc, THE WORKS) but generally play with my Frankencaster. I am powering it with a Crate first series(THE BETTER ONE) GX1200H head. This cabinet is extremely loud with no distortion! Highs are unbelievable. Mids are thick, groany and overall just a very clear clean sound for leads. The highs are so overbearing that I had to turn my already low set treble down. I already run through Carvin British series twelves with a frequency responce of 7 khz. These things are definately hitting higher than that! 9 or 10 K I'd bet. Not quite as much bass as I typically like but I typically play through a jumbo, and I mean JUMBO custom built 4x12 cabinet that has two Carvin Bass series speakers loaded in the bottom. Anything much passed 4 on my amp is too loud for my room but just for kicks I cranked it up to 5 and still
NO DISTORTION. The bass in not as lacking as I initially thought but still not quite to my liking(true of most 4x12 cabs anyway). The treble is extemely present while not overbearing but you won't keep your old cabinets settings thats for sure. The bass mostly seems to be lacking at lower volume settings but if you were playing a club or bar you'd have it cranked enough where the bass starts getting its power.
Overall great lead tone, Extreme treble responce(can be piercing yet no distortion!) for the utmost clarity and simply no distortion. I would put it up against any higher priced name brand cab without worry. Again the bass isn't quite to my liking and I'm not typically a gear snob but I prefer my equipment customized anyway and that typically means building it yourself. Its sound meets and exceeds my expectations. I almost wonder if it has a crossover inside for lessening the bass while extending the highs allowing for greater , distortion free volume levels.
Its definately not a disapointment and for the money Marshal, Fender and Crate(exc.) can go shit in their hat! The thing looks and sounds beautiful just watch out for those ear bleeding highs!

It comes with a 1 year warranty and theres U.S. service departments listed on their site but lets hope I never have to contact them. With the power handling and rugged construction I'm thinking no. It weighs a ton(ok 104 lbs but still!) Constructed of E1 MDF board and all its hardware is of the highest quality and EXTREMELY solid. I would imagine it could take quite a pounding or fall for that matter and still work A1. As far as going without a back up I wouldn't period but if you had to I really dont think you'd have to worry with this thing.Time will tell though.

Built like an F'ing tank! I have never dealt with Behringer but its german made and engineered so that comforts me. Then again I would hate to have to send the thing back to Germany! Actually theres U.S. service departments listed on their site and it does come with a 1 year warranty but I imagine I'll never have to use it but just incase its there.

I would buy it again if it were destroyed or stolen. It has extreme clarity at high volume levels and is great for lead work. The extended treble it has will definately sound great with tube amps and really just in general. It makes for that crunch sound that is generally heard from tubes . The Construction is extremely nice. It's built like a tank, looks like a $500 cab and honestly sounds like it too. As with most gear that starts out this cheap then gradually builds a reputation, I would hate to see the price tag on this cabinet raised, as often it does. Extreme treble, full toned mids and the bass...well a bit lacking but not enough to REALLY matter. For my taste I would consider changing two of the 12's for a bassier pair but with the clarity and highs these have I would definately keep two in there. Heck, I'd have to find a use for the two I pulled out rather than sell them! (yes they sound that good) Nothing to compare these 12's too they are definately custom speakers designed by or for Behringer. I love the way this amp looks, I love the sparkling, breaking through highs this cab gives. You wont find yourself drowned out by other band members when playing a lead thats for sure! I don't hate anything about it but wish it had a bit more bass. Thats also going to depend on your head but theres a dozen easy fix's for it aswell as a simple choke in the speaker circuit to grab the bass. This cabinet has an advantage in the market for several reasons mainly being sound, quality, appearance and THE PRICE. It simply looks better than cabs costing twice the money and more while sounding like you payed double, even triple for it. If your not a gear snob and don't think price is everything then don't hesitate on buying this cabinet if you were considering it. I've been fortunate with all my gear, sometimes VERY fortunate and this is one of those very times. More than enough volume, the utmost clarity with screaming tone while remaining clean with enough bandwidth responce for any acoustic instrument.

I got this thing from same day music. It was marked "B stock". I called and asked what that means. They told me "it's scratch and dent demos, but it works." When I got it one of the corners were dented. I could live with that. What bothered me was that the 2 left speakers didn't work at all!!! They told me for another 90 bucks they would send me one that wasn't b stock. I said I could buy 2 speakers for that much and change them myself. For $160 I got a solid cabinet and 2 out of 4 working speakers. I guess you could call that a good deal.

I've been playing for 20 years. I have a crate 412 cabinet. A peavey 212 cabinet and a 20 year old Marshall valvestate 8100. Not sure if I would get another one. I liked the look of the steel grill and the fact that it can handle 400 watts. It's a well built cab but they have to work on those speakers ,if you know what I mean.

I power it with a Randall RH200 and i play a Custom Washburn Chicago series setup like the Dimebag and an Ibanez RG170. I use a Boss ME-33 effects board. We play punk and rock and metal in my band and it works for all types of sounds. I can really get that thing pumping the sound when I crank it.Ive compare all the BG412's to marshall, line6,hughes and kettner, randall and these things keep blowing up the spot. Id buy another one any day over a pussy Marshall half stack.I have friends who have marshalls that dont sound half as good as this.

I use a 1992 Les paul Studio and new OLP MM1 through a Korg AX100G effects processor and Peavey Express 112, until I can afford a Marshall head. Suits my style very well. LOT'S of bottom end. So much that I had to turn down the bass settings on my amp. Really added a lot to my sound. We are a trio that now sounds like four guys. After a few songs, my bass player said "That thing sounds so good, I'm sportin' a woody!" (I guess that's a good endorsement...)

I Dunno. One year warranty. I don't expect to send it to Germany to get it fixed, though. If it breaks down, at only $200.00, I'll just buy the full cabinet and put my broken slant on top to have a full stack & look real cool...

Can't beat it for the money. If your unsure about buying such an inexpensive (not cheap- thiers a difference) cabinet, spend another $50.00 for the 412S with Jensen speakers. You can still get a full stack for $500. Sweeeeeet!!!! Or, spend double the money for a single, bottom-line Marshall. I would, and just might, buy another. Love the price. I took a chance and bought it specifically because of the price, and it got excellent ratings here & Music 123.com.

this amp is fuckin sick, i just bought it brand new. Wow, i run it through my peavey bandit 112 because i dont have the money for a good head. i am using my standard pickups that came on my SG. This amp has bad ass sound, someone said it cant handle low ends very well. LOL , tottal bullshit, this thing is all about low ends, its so awsome. I play with the digitech rp200 pedal which adds to its bad ass sound, though i want to get a boss metal zone soon. Yea, i play hardcore like unearth, btbam, eighteen visions, atreyu, u got the picture, yea this amp handles that that very very well, no fart noises, it never falters and i have played this thing very very loud. Ive played on other cabs such as the 5150 and random marshalls, this one sounds just as good. Wow, is all i can say, for 213.99 cents, wow.
