Well how many features can a cab have? 16 OHMS mono and 8 OHMS stereo. This thing can handle 400 watts and I doubt you need more than that. The speakers don't colour the sound AT ALL! They're meant to be used with amp and cab sims to get the most out of your rig if you use em.

Sound Quality : 10
If you are using a normal amp, Id give it a 6. If you are using an amp and cab modeler such as the V-Amp, POD or GT-8, then it is an all out 10. The speakers don't colour the sound at all and that isn't that good for your conventional amp but if you have an amp modeler with a cab sim in it, this thing is worth it's weight in gold and it's pretty god damned heavy.

Reliability : 3
I dunno about reliability. The cab went out on me after a day. Turns out the switch was screwed. I had to get it rewired for 4 ohms.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them so this is N/A.

Overall Rating : 8
Overall, if they improve on quality when making the damn things then everything would be awesome. Mine was wired backwards so the output was the input o.0.

For the price, it sounds amazing. Compare it to a marshall or mesa, or anything besides a crate that's over $400, and it sounds pretty much like piss. But again, a great deal for the price.

Reliability : 10
It's been toured a little, but works great still. I doubt it'll have any problems.

Overall Rating : 9
Again, it's a great price for the quality, but if you're serious about playing, I would highly recommend a better cab, either a Marshall 1960 or a Mesa Rectifier. Granted they're a bit more, but if you're serious you really should get one. If you're just a hobbiest and just play in your room or something, then this is probably not a bad idea for you. Or, if you're just plain poor that works too.

My Cabinet is a 2004 with Jensen Bugera speakers in it. It has a switch for 2x 8 Ohm or 1x 16 Ohm, which is great, with 400watt handling power, you can run a parallel output to 2 inputs, and get more volume!

Sound Quality : 9
Compared to other cabinets that I've had the same equipment on, it is a solid performer. It tends to sound tighter and crisper than other cabinets like the 1960. I play Metal, Power metal more precisely and it suits that style very well.

Reliability : 10
This thing... is SOLID!! I could probably hit it with my truck, and I'd be more worried about the bumper.

Customer Support : No Opinion
1 Year warranty, I've contacted the USA Customer service department for other products of theirs, and they are friendly and helpful... and no, you don't need to send this to germany for warranty service.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 20 years, I own a couple Jacksons, ESP, and BC Rich, a jSX head, and a bunch of other stuff. I would definitely buy it again if it were stolen, or lost.. if I lost it... I'd wonder how, it's huge! I love the way it looks, the way it sounds.. steel grill, spacious cab... very nice!

Behringer Bg412h Cab. Made in 2004 i Believe. Switchable mono/stereo at the jack plate. freaking built like a tank. i probly could blow up something with it. im in a post hardcore band and i am the only guitar player. i got 2 of these because i need power on both sides of the stage.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
SOunds great! I just got done using a spider II cab and this blows it away. built much better, sounds much better(er):) The distortion i need is what this thing gives. no clean distortion at high volumes. its extremely silent from what i have heard.i'm using it wiht an ltd ec series with duncan pickups. sounds freaking great.

Reliability : 10
it came with 2 dents, one on each. i'm sure it happened during shipping, so thats unavoidable, knowing fedex these days.i would gig in a second without back, although i have 2 of these and i would never imagine both breaking down at a show.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 10
i use it with a spider 2 HD, yes thats right.i use the crunch setting on distortion boost and it sounds great. i connect each side to one cab in mono mode. its extremely versatile. it it were stolen, i would hunt whoever did it down and beat him to death, then make his mom buy me 10 more. def. recommend this to anyone!

Cabs arn't really supposed to have many features. But it's a 400 watt cab in mono at 16 ohms and a 200 watt per side stereo cab in stero at 8 ohms. There is of course a back pannel with the an input and an output, but flick the switch and it goes to stereo, two inputs!

Sound Quality : 9
I'm using an epiphone les paul and an epiphone dot straigth into my MarshallJCM 900 Hi gain dual reverb head, and i just swich between clean and distortion.
I play in a pop-punk band, and so many old farts out there will read the word POP and laugh, and think punk and then come to the conclusion that sound isn't really iportant, so long as it's distorted noise. i hate those wanks!! To me Tone is really important, and i have to say i found this cab complimented my head alot better than the JCM 800 cab i originally played it on. The sound is alot less muddy than the marshall cab and because of it's high watt rating has good low end response, high end response and everything inbetween.

Reliability : 8
I've taken this baby out on tour with me and it holds up just fine, of course there are a few dints and nicks here and there from general wear that most touring cabs go through. The only thing i didn't like was the fact that after one gig in an extremely humide bar the tollex at the back started to peel a bit, but you know, thats why they invented duct/gaffer tape. And like everyone else says, the wheels are absolutely bollocks, you can very rarely get this thing to role in a straight line, let alone turning it round corners, kinda like american cars, but you would expect better from german engineering!

Customer Support : 8
Never dealt with them, got it from thomann.de so i guess i would go through them for anything, and after buying lot's of prudicts from them i would have to say that there customer support is excellent.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for about six years, played thorugh many different amps, i bought this cab roughly four months after getting my head so it's about two years old by now! I needed a cab that was cheap, and had heard really good things about this, mainly on here, so i thought i would give my two cents worth. I have to say it definatly competes with other big brands like: engl, marshall, hughes and kettner, laney and others all of which i've play my head through(when there wasn't enough space in the wagon for my cab) so i think i know a thing or two from experience, and this cab is certainly worth the money. If it were stolen i would definatly be buying a new one, hell i'd be buying a new one right now if i didn't have to buy a set of bass cabs.

I thought I'd submit a review for the people that are sick of reviews that say shit sucked cause they couldn't get their Dimebag tone from their strat and Line 6. I Play nothing but tube amps and always have for 10 years. I don't want to sound like anyone else, I want my own tone. With said...
Good features its 400 watts I think. Its stereo, 4, 8 or 16 ohms. The top two speakers are angled out so the sound from directly in front of the cab is a little wider, but not much. Like everyone says the wheels are crap, but I took them off, I have bandmates for helping me carry shit, no problem. Its tougher than my 1960a. I rip the shit out of the tolex on that thing, never seems to happen with the behringer.

Sound Quality : 9
Ok, so I'm playing nothing but prog-metal through a Peavey XXX (excellent head by the way) and into the behringer for my primary setup. So I bought this thing cause I didn't have a bunch of money and needed a new 4x12 STAT. I didn't expect a whole lot cause of the price so this was a temporary solution. I was so suprised at how well it sounded. I was really searching for my tone at that time and I was really happy with what I was getting. Shortly after that I picked up a JCM 2000 DSL and 1960a in mint for 500 bucks, no shit. I'm not a big fan of marshall heads but I was really happy to get the cab. So I hook up my XXX to the 1960 just cause I'm thinking its its a 1960 and its going to sound better, and I kind of thought it did. So I would leave the behringer at my house and the 1960 at our practice space and just move my head back and forth. After 6 months of doing this and intensely trying to tweek my sound, I realized that I liked the behringer better. On stage I use both but over alone with behringer, to mine and my band's ears, just sounds better. It will not be so for everyone, if you want a marshall sound get a marshall. Thats not what I want. The sound is more open than the marshall. The bass is deeper, the mids are less focused which sound great for my mild scooping and the highs are clearer, less piercing, more usable. I can't get it to break up, but past 12o'clock on the master is louder than ever needed anyway. Now plugging the DSL into it souds just as good as it does as a DSL into a 1960 but if you want that pure marshall sound the behringer will not be quite right for you. 9 only because it will not be right for everyone, though nothing is.

Reliability : 8
Tough as nails, mine was fucked up durring shipping pretty bad, but I needed it so bad I fixed it myself (bad dent in the grill that warped it and ripped it out of the wood on the cab in the corner.) Since then it couldn't be better. Like I said I rip up the 1960 all the time, no such problems with this.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No idea

Overall Rating : 9
Its good stuff. Doesn't sound like anything else, but it sounds great for me. It cuts through a band very well and remains clear and defined at any volume. I highly recomend the Peavey xxx as well. That thing is incredible. I've knocked of the top of my cab and it has had a water faucet running directly into it (no shit, my basement flooded) and it has incredible tone, depth and clearity. Ask me if you have any questions.

Hi all, this is a 2006 cab with the Jensens in,Build wise it is on par with any other cab,but it looks better than most being mostly balck with good looking logo's too,the wheels do seem a little dodgy though but not really a problem ,this cab has metal side handles instead of the cheap plastic on just about all other cabs costing a lot more.
It also has a black metal grille rather than cloth so should be sturdy.

Sound Quality : 9
Like most people say the sound has to break in which is odd but again not a problem, initial impressions are not very good sound wise, but after a few hours of playing things get a lot better.
I use a Line 6 flextone 2 head, & never liked it with a Marshall 1960 cab but to be fair I never liked that cab with a Marshall all tube heads either, (jcm 900 or tsl60).I always disliked the celestions speakers which sounded really brittle to me.

I noticed that the flextone sounded a lot richer ,the EQ seemed to be more active than before with a lot more inherrant presence,so much that I have tweaked all of my setting for less highs,THIS CAB HAS A LOT OF BOTTOM END !
But is not muddy or does not fart like the Marshall did, I guess the extra wattage of this cab is responsible here - 400 WATTS !!!!!
It hold it's own regardless of sound (dirty/clean)

Reliability : 9
I can't see there being a problem cos the build is good.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed to contact Behringer & i have lots of their stuff !

Overall Rating : 10
Well this would be considered a budget cab, but it is as good if not better than most cabs I have used,A friend suggested I remove the Logo badges but I like the fact is Is not the usual names and it sounds so good that I am not afraid of people seeing the name too.
Behringer seem to have a knack of robbing a good product and making it a lot cheaper than the original and in some cases bettering,I don't know why they get such a bad name (maybe just gear snobs again).
I just wish these were available years ago.
oh yeah I also use a Behringer midi board to control my flextone, which is far better tnan the line 6 shite floorboard which spent most of it's life in bits.

BLACK AS DEATH. Angles cab. Punched steel grille, black tolex, good recessed handles like a mesa cab, Behringer cheap ass speakers 100w peak each with small magnets. This is the cab that didnt come with the jensen spkrs, i had the cab apart but i cant remember what the model name was on the speakers but they were made by behringer. 16ohm Mono/8ohm per side stereo, swithchble. Wired for daisy-chain-ability. Plywood one piece baffle(angled like a mesa cab) with particleboard cab.

Overall it looks cool, needs something to prevent the steel grille from resonating, its not too bad... but if you were mic recording i'd remove the grille.

Sound Quality : 10
Sounds good considering the price. Ive used a LINE 6 flextone II XL 100watt D class, and im currently using a RANDALL WARHEAD 300watts RMS.

First off, i thought the Line 6 was a steal for the versatility but it just pissed me off more than anything i could never find my tone. The only effect i use is a crybaby, and 2channels (Line 6 is capable of 32 seperate channels). I reccomend a Line 6 for blues players and rhythm players.

If your a fan Darrel"dimebag"Abbott's tone... dont waste your time with line 6.

Nevertheless the 412H was phenomenal, i had all 100 watts of that sucker going through the cab and it never cracked.

If you like the Line 6 cabinet modelers dont expect good tone through this cab. I bypassed the cab modeler when plugged into the cab.

THIS IS THE REAL $%^& NOW>>>>>

The Warhead is the answer to my prayers, i finally got one. Every local dealer couldn't keep them in the store. I snagged one at Long and Mcquade (murch music). Pure solid state tightness no B.S.

The warhead is loud as hell. Im running the Cab at 16ohms right now which is drawing only 75 watts from the Warhead. But its still deafening and has tons of headroom.

The cab takes it like a trooper, with the mids scooped and the bass maxed down to 62hertz, its clear, loud and crisp. Even with the crappy speakers.

Reliability : 10
Never had a problem!!

Customer Support : No Opinion
No need to contact them

Overall Rating : 10
If you bought 4 of these cabs id would cost $1600.

If you bought 4 Mesa recto cabs it would cost approx $4500.

hmm..... DO THE DAMN MATH HERE DIP$%^&@!!

One Warhead ($850 used) will handle four 16ohm cabs. Creating a 4 ohm load at which the Warhead will be at full power. 300 watts RMS.
TOTAL COST $2450

One Dual recto $2200 + 4 recto cabs

$6700 HOLY $%^&!!!!

Sturdy thick covering, Black Metal grill. Mine came equiped with the Jensens, 4X12 Jensen Speakers, 400 Watts Output, 2 input jacks, a Stereo or Mono Switch, moving Handles, and Wheels, I would say about 120-130 pounds but I could be wrong. Very Heavy, The metal grill is excellent because you dont have to worry about damaging your speakers. The Wheels arent that great, I would highly recommend pulling then pushing, they like to go wherever they feel like and its hard to move when pushing. If it wasnt for the weight and mobility issue it would get a 10 but thats a big factor in my eyes.

Sound Quality : 10
Im using a Peavey Supreme Head with this cabinet. I use a Jackson Warrior XT with Seymour Duncan Detonator pickups. I play Metal, Rock, and Blues mostly. This cabinet makes my Peavey head sound almost exactly like a Marshall with certain settings, This thing is really incredible. There arent that many Cabinets you can get for less than 300 bucks that sound as good as this, at first I was a little worried because it didnt have the metal/rock tone that I wanted. It was kind of muddy sounding, and the mids sounded bad going through. but then I ran 2 cables from my head to the cabinet and swtiched it to stereo and it sounded unbeleivably better. then after playing it for a while it kept sounding better and better as the sound set in. after a while I had the tone that I was looking for and it handled everything very well. I took this thing into my backyard and but my clean channel on 10 and it kept its sound and didnt get distorted or broken up. You can pretty much get any sound you want out of this cabinet and keep that sound no matter what volume your playing at. Would be great on stage!!!! because it is LOUD!!!!!

Reliability : 10
Only had this thing for a few weeks now, but this thing is well constructed, I would use it on a gig without a backup easily, no problems at all. Built like a TANK.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 9
This cabinet is great, I am so happy with my desicion to buy it, and for the price I dont think I could get better, this thing sounds like a marshall, its loud and built with quality. I would recommend itto you or anybody who was looking for one, and if it was stolen I would probably hunt that person down to get it back.

Kicks Ass! I play a Frankenstrat (Carvin bolt with a Moses graphite neck and Fender Custom Shop Texas pickups) through a JCM 2000 DSL 50 and it gets the Jimi warmth to perfection. I play a Crybaby, TubeWorks overdrive, and Univibe and have a Delay and Dynacomp on the effects loop. I use an Octavia where needed like on Purple Haze. I use it to record - cab mic and studio mike (Behringer D2) and it's as much as I will need. There's nothing as cool as feeling the concussion of your music going through your body. I get a similar vibe when I play a big box 12 string acoustic and hold tight to my body.

Reliability : 10
It's built rock solid!

Haven't had to use them!

I'm real happy. For the price of a cab alone, I have a warm screamer that allows me to go to the next level of playing. It's built in China and was designed in Germany - the spekers were made in Italy.

The cab has has a stereo (2x200 watts 8-ohm) and mono (400 watts 16ohms) with a jack to go to another cabinet, a lot of features for a cabinet...

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using the cabinet for brutal metal, rock and blues.
When I first got it sounded like shit (with distortion), cleans were fine, scooping the distortion helps when you get the cabinet. I have a Behringer EP1500 power amp, so I get 280 watts, I blasted the amp and played through the cabinet for 2 hours. The cab didn't quiver at all and it was amazing to hear the sound break in, I could hear it getting louder and louder, till I thought I was going to suffer from permanent hearing loss! When you get it allow for the sound to settle in the speakers, then you'll notice less highs (however the cab has some excellent highs), and a shitload of bass (at very low volumes it has the ability to shake your house a little) and nice mids.

Reliability : 10
It's been a few weeks since I've had it, and as long as you don't overdrive your amp (clip) then the speakers aren't going to out!
I have a very loud setup too loud to handle for our ears really, and the cab handles it fine, no farting or anything, Behringer puts out a very professional product for a great price, there's no cab that can rival it at the price. It looks great, one of the best looking cabs I've ever seen, the only thing rivaling would be the Randalls, but I think these look cooler, the Randalls look a little like shit haha.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 4 years, I have my trusty power amp, my rackmount EQ 27-band which is my preamp, a Rocktron Metal Planet, Boss Noise Supressor, Rocktron Short Timer delay (all great products otherwise they wouldnt be in my setup.. believe me, I'm picky!) and a Washburn with Bill Lawrence L500R/L500XL pickups.

I'd recommend it to kids who dont have a lot of money, or professionals who have the balls to use something new and impress the hell out of people!

ehh...I ren it through my crate gt212. It did allright, considering i used a regular instrument cable to connect it....oops!! almost blew my crate up lol. I used this at my drummers house. so did my friend. I cant judge this cab by my playing experience cuz i used a normal cable, but my friend pluged his xxl head into it and it sounded fine. he used a SPEAKER cable, so his wasnt all shitty. The cab handled the power, and the low end was fine!! im sick of all these retards saying it has no low end. We palm mute, and there wes no fart when we did it. 8 ohm stereo switchable to 16 ohm mono. 400 watts.
Jensen Speakers. Metal grill that actually doesn't vibrate!
Heres the cool part.... you can set the switch to stereo(8 ohms) and run two short speaker cables to a patching adapter, and viola, you have a 4 ohm 400 watt mono cab. Just make sure to use quality cables and a good high power adapter capable of speaker levels.

Sound Quality : 10
At first use, it did sound a little brittle and very bright on treble. It seemed to lack a little on the low end side. This was before the speakers were broke in.

Give it a month or two to settle in, and run it 4 ohms mono, I'm sure that you will be happy with the results.

I've used many different amps into this cab and it always sounds good. It seems to like the high power tube amps.

I'm not going to mention amp brands, but I have used many top name amps into this cab with good to excellent results. 300 watt solid state amps....no problem. Very tight and articulate with awesome low end chunk. 100 to 120 watt tube amps.....awesome.

I'm currently using this cab in the 4 ohm setup in stereo with another high quality 4 ohm cab, both being fed from a Peavey Classic 120/120 tube power amp. The sound and stereo seperation sounds awesome. It's louder than most people can handle. I have to use dual attenuators (hot plates) to reduce the sound levels to stage and club levels.

I have also compared these cabs with the high end (high dollar) cabs and this setup comes very close and sometimes even better to the sound quality of cabs costing 5 to 10 times as much. For the $200 that i spent on this I am very pleased.

I think you could make this cab work for any musical style. It works for me and I play everything from clean, bluesy, hard rock to extreme metal.

I've had bandmates try their setups thru this cab, and actually it has sounded better to them. One guy even sold hid old cab, bought a full stack of these and had money left over. So he bought a couple of those thin cloth grill covers to cover up the brand name. It looks cool and sounds great, what more could you want?

Reliability : 9
Ruggedly built. Heavy. Seems to be of quality construction. I've pounded this cab with some very high watt amps. It's like the more abuse it gets, the better it sounds.

Customer Support : 8
Never had to use them yet. They seem to have their s**t together as far as their website and customer support.

Overall Rating : 9
For the price I paid for mine, I'm very happy. I wish I had bought a few more before they raised the price. Still a great bargain for $229. I'm not going to say that it's the best cab I've ever heard, It's not. But it does sound great, enough to keep up with the big boys, and the cost/quality ratio beats the big names hands down.

used with ...esp ec-1000, fender tele delux (not mine), heads used are crate blue voodoo 120h, marshall ugh...hmm some solid state thats fairy crappy.
i f-ing love the the BV through it, i know alot of people hate BV's but i recording with the combo and it was exactly what i was looking for. i got a ghetto version of In Utereo that i love. the hi's are pristine. the mids clear and lows, well they are there but not in full force, but i also use a head not known for it's lows. but i think they are satisfactory.
i personally like the hi's better than the marshall 1960. the 1960 has a better range of lows, but thats probably more speakers than wood. but then jensens are magic.

Bought new in late 2003. The cab is supposed to have Shark speakers but mine (ordered from American Music Supply) came with a "Jensen Speaker Equipped" tag attached and I haven't opened the back of the cab to verify. Four hundred watts, and having the casters is especially nice because this thing is a beast.

I had never heard anything about this company when I bought this cab but I was on a budget and took a chance. So far I'm very pleased. I've had it for about 6 months and it has been used in a band situation pretty consistently. I use a Peavey Supreme XL head through it and I have no problem being heard and cutting through my band, which is a 5-piece that plays Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, etc...I would agree with some of the other posts that say this puts out some added treble ( I play a solid state head so that probably has something to do with it), but I've noticed recently the speakers seem to be getting that "broken in" feel and sound, and it's getting a bit more "normal". I have yet to play live with this so we'll see what sound engineers say but the guys in my band are impressed (and they're all pretty good musicians in their 20s and 30s). I would also say that there were times where I cranked my amp almost all the way up and there was no farting out from the speakers. The cab seemed perfectly capable of handling any amount of power and volume thrown at it. It also seems to project really well, too. Clean sounds are impressive, too, with a lot of bottom end but also some nice sparkle.

Reliability : 10
It weighs a lot and I'm so glad it comes with casters. Workmanship seems on par with other cabs I've owned in the past (Carvin, Peavey 5150).

Haven't dealt with them.

Overall, I'm impressed with this cabinet. I've been playing for 21 years, and I still think Celestians are the best speakers for guitar cabs, but I don't have any complaints about this Behringer. I play with a lot of distortion and play pretty loud, and I just plug in and rock out without worrying about being overshadowed by my other guitarist (who plays a tube amp). This is a good bargain. Incidentally, I paid $199 for mine in December of 2003, and now (June '04) the price is up to $229, so it seems like the company's popularity is increasing. Better grab 'em while they're still inexpensive.

This cab wasn't versatile with my vampire, but is since I have a peavey xxx head. It's just a basic cab, you can switch it from mono to stereo. Alot of people haven't got good responses with this amp, the vampire sucked through it, but the xxx has an on board eq for each of the gain channels such as ultra, and crunch.

Sound Quality : 10
I am using an epiphone les paul custom, and a peavey xxx head. The amp pushes the cab just as I would want it to push any other cab, it handles well. I thought about buying a new cab, before I bought the xxx head, because I tried it with my v-ampire and didn't like its sounds, but with the xxx head it made me happy. I am into hardcore, metal, and metal/core as well has emo, post hardcore, and emocore(all these freaking names, makes music confusing. I am into bands such as avenged sevenfold, evergreen terrace, glasseater, killswitch engage, thrice, senses fail, Afi. This cab works well with my head, and suits my styles perfectly.

Reliability : 10
I can depend on it, its built decently. I am planning on getting another cab to run both of them, but haven't decided yet, what to get. Definantly not a crate, or ibanez, so maybe a marshall, or something with celestions in them.

Customer Support : 10
Talked to some representatives, and they were very helpful on a footswitch , never talked to them about the cab.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for almost 6 years. I own an epiphone les paul custom, a peavey 120 watt all tube head(see review), a behringer v-ampire(see review), an ibanez rg570, an ibanez chorus/flanger CF7, and other crap not worth mentioning.

I play mainly rock stuff. This cab is OK for clean type sounds but it sucks Big-time when u crank up the GAIN, or you want the warmth & versatility of a 300w marshall etc. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the guy who said these cabs are made to be used with an EQ (and by someone who knows what they are doing, such as an engineer), When the sound guy in a 600 capacity arena asks.."what the fuck is wrong with your amp sound"?. You know there is a problem...I ended up re-speakering it with Celestion G12T 75s hand hey presto, classic warm & rich sound. Sorry Behringer I thought this would sound as good as my V-ampire, But Marshall are kicking the shit out ouf you on this one!!!!

I bought this cab as it was cheap!!..........I know !!.......... D'OH!!!I was using this with a Godin LGX-T, marshall 9100, Behringer Composer pro compressor, boss GX 700 & a Korg DTr 1 tuner. (Also a JCM 900 Head, to see if the power amp was the problem) I ended up buying a Stereo 15 band EQ, to try to rectify the sound problems , but to no avail. When I used my marshall 20/20/1960a 4x12 it was like a breath of fresh air, compared the Behringer Set up UNTILL THE NEW SPEAKERS CAME!!!!!!!!

A small piece of advice, which has always served me well...when trying to set up an amp, or buying a new one, find a place where u can test it from about 15-20 feet away & turn it up (even in a music shop, if they dont like it, Fuck them, Go to another one where u get what u want for your hard earned cash) !!!!! Thats what the audience hear, not the bedroom sound, that sounds brill & then somehow disappears when the volume is turned up!!!!

TRUST ME ...THIS WORKS!!

I recommend this cab for clean sounds or slightly overdriven sounds only. I use a Marshall TSL head & a Les Paul w/EMG pickups. At high gain, this cab puts out very grindy distortion without much balls or definition. At first I thought it was the amp, so I upgraded the tubes. Then after constant amp EQing and still no improvement, I switched out the cab and that did the trick. I do NOT recommend this cab to anyone who plays metal, hard rock, thrash, etc.

BUY THE MODEL WITH THE JENSEN SPEAKERS.
400 watts RMS
4 x 12's
16 ohms mono
8 ohms x 2 stereo

Sound Quality : No Opinion
BUY THE SAME MODEL CABINET BUT WITH THE JENSEN SPEAKERS.

Unless you plan to pump 200 Watts into this cabinet it's not goig to perform in the low end AT ALL.

At first this cabs highs were overbearing eventually they mellowed. Unfortunately they kept on mellowing in general until I had 4 12 inch speakers that sounded like some twangy 50's pussy telecaster speaker. An EQ did prove these speakers to be able to perform but their flat frequency response is shit. I really hate to modify this speaker circuit but I will.

BUY THE SAME MODEL CABINET BUT WITH THE JENSEN SPEAKERS. IT IS THE FINEST CABINET I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!!! THE JENSENS THEY'RE USING ARE A MODERN DAY GUITAR SPEAKER IN SOUND AND PERFORMANCE. SIMPLY PUT, THEY WIPE THE FLOOR WITH ANYTHING ELSE. I NOW KNOW WHY JENSEN HAS BEEN SAID TO BE THE FINEST GUITAR SPEAKER IN THE WORLD. HELL, THE ONES THEY USE ARE EVEN MADE IN ITALY.

Anyhow I'll ad a choke to the circuit and for the time being that will beef up the sound of these shitty shark speakers. They can perform but I'm about simplicity and I don't want to mod the circuit or use an EQ but for now I have no other choice.

Reliability : 10

!!BUY THE SAME MODEL CABINET BUT WITH THE JENSEN SPEAKERS!!
I'm literally crying over this mistake. I wish I had had a meezly $50 more to spend. I couldn't buy EACH of those Jensen speakers for $50. I'm betting at least $70 or $80 USD each. Meanwhile 50 bucks more would have gotten me all 4. I'm crushed!!

With this kind of wattage and the performance being so mellow at low wattages I am under the impression these cabs were more so designed for guitar sound re-enforcement. Likely an amp system with an EQ which is going to shape the sound these speakers put out being their flat frequency response is VERY VERY mellow and somewhat wimpy. ....None the less I will say they can perform under the right circumstances.

This cabinet is fine but they shouldn't even offer it with these speakers. It should be $200-$225 and ONLY be available with the Jensen speakers. I'm floored by the Jensens....They had the bass and power of a subwoofer while producing bright and rich mids and highs. Not to mention they just had a very warm sound in general.

The Behringer Sharks have a great classic tone I will give them that but that's all they have as is. Granted the right head, using an EQ or simply adding an inductor to the speaker circuit will beef up the bass and improve the sound but I'm angry I have to do this. Not to mention that unless an EQ was used the Jensens have a natural sound 10 times better then these. The mids are no longer anything to desire and the highs are all these speakers have.(un-EQ'd even here they let you down)

Again I will say an EQ made these speakers sound beautiful. From an engineers standing point, these speakers are made for a VERY VERY tight sound. They were meant to be used with an EQ with a lot of bandwidth control and a lot of gain.

Lastly I'll say maybe it's a question of wattage. Each speaker is getting 30 watts RMS. I mean even with the same signal, sending 400 watts RMS through this cabinet would take the bass it had and multiply it by 4 or 5 times maybe even a little more. Figure 4 speakers, wattage is more than tripled and for that many 12's it is a small enclosure.
Like I said, they seem more like sound re-enforcement and with the right amp and EQ combination, what guitarist wouldn't rather use a small army of 4x12 cabs instead of running through the P.A.????

.....Looks like instead of a bottom cabinet I'll have 2 tops. I want the Jensen version regardless of what can be done to this model. I guess if I were wanting to custom load a cabinet there would have been no other choice. I'll buy another one for certain but it will have the JENSEN speakers....did I mention the JENSENS?

Oh well tops look cooler than bottoms anyway.

REPOST. (Thought it was best now that it's gotten some extreme use)

Sound Quality : 10
When I initially got the cabinet I was very impressed by its looks and construction to say the least. The sounds from it were acutally very good but the highs were very powerful and borderline TOO powerful. The bass wasn't near as heavy as I liked but still it sounded good. Now that the speakers have had some time to break in there has been a major change. The highs aren't overbearing anymore and I was able to use my original treble settings. This is after having to change it from 6 or 7 down to 3 maybe 4!! After about two weeks the bass responce had tripled! It went from moderately powered bass and volume to full and powerful with a fair amount of volume gain but not too extreme. The mid was very solid before but seems to be much fuller and
more projecting now. I like two swap out two speakers in 4x12 cabs with bass speakers but not so sure I will now that these ones have broken in. I would definitely replace them if they were blown with these same Behringer speakers. It still isn't distorting on me and has the utmost clarity for playing through clean. Behringer has really done well.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another and I plan to get ATLEAST one more!
Just give the speakers some time to break in if your not initially happy. I was but before the speakers were broken in it wasn't quite the sound I knew 4x12 cabs for having. Crate, Marshall or Peavey? Forget it, buy yourself a Behringer and get better construction and a cabinet capable of producing a very versatile sound. With a good quality head it can pull off anything and it's extremely loud.

Built like a brick. Heavy and solid. Nice handles, metal corners, vinyl covering. It is too soon to tell how the speakers will hold up. I have been playing for 25 years-17 as a pro. I play clubs, national shows, and do lots of studio work. I work with new artists as well as multi-Grammy winning artists. I've used almost every cabinet known to man at some time or another. These are fine cabinets for live shows and are excellent for the price. I plan on using 4 of them on an upcoming spring 2004 tour. Don't be afraid of the low price. Just remember...If you want it to sound just like a Rectifier cab or a Marshall it won't hit it right on the head. If you need the "Cock-Value" of the big names you should save your money for another year. It does however, have enough balls and quality for someone to find their sound with no problem. I think they look bad ass too. I'm very happy with my first two Behringer cabinets!

A very good looking cabinet.

Sound Quality : 8
I own many customized guitars(volume kits, 2 meg pots exc, THE WORKS) but generally play with my Frankencaster. I am powering it with a Crate first series(THE BETTER ONE) GX1200H head. This cabinet is extremely loud with no distortion! Highs are unbelievable. Mids are thick, groany and overall just a very clear clean sound for leads. The highs are so overbearing that I had to turn my already low set treble down. I already run through Carvin British series twelves with a frequency responce of 7 khz. These things are definately hitting higher than that! 9 or 10 K I'd bet. Not quite as much bass as I typically like but I typically play through a jumbo, and I mean JUMBO custom built 4x12 cabinet that has two Carvin Bass series speakers loaded in the bottom. Anything much passed 4 on my amp is too loud for my room but just for kicks I cranked it up to 5 and still
NO DISTORTION. The bass in not as lacking as I initially thought but still not quite to my liking(true of most 4x12 cabs anyway). The treble is extemely present while not overbearing but you won't keep your old cabinets settings thats for sure. The bass mostly seems to be lacking at lower volume settings but if you were playing a club or bar you'd have it cranked enough where the bass starts getting its power.
Overall great lead tone, Extreme treble responce(can be piercing yet no distortion!) for the utmost clarity and simply no distortion. I would put it up against any higher priced name brand cab without worry. Again the bass isn't quite to my liking and I'm not typically a gear snob but I prefer my equipment customized anyway and that typically means building it yourself. Its sound meets and exceeds my expectations. I almost wonder if it has a crossover inside for lessening the bass while extending the highs allowing for greater , distortion free volume levels.
Its definately not a disapointment and for the money Marshal, Fender and Crate(exc.) can go shit in their hat! The thing looks and sounds beautiful just watch out for those ear bleeding highs!

Reliability : No Opinion
It comes with a 1 year warranty and theres U.S. service departments listed on their site but lets hope I never have to contact them. With the power handling and rugged construction I'm thinking no. It weighs a ton(ok 104 lbs but still!) Constructed of E1 MDF board and all its hardware is of the highest quality and EXTREMELY solid. I would imagine it could take quite a pounding or fall for that matter and still work A1. As far as going without a back up I wouldn't period but if you had to I really dont think you'd have to worry with this thing.Time will tell though.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Built like an F'ing tank! I have never dealt with Behringer but its german made and engineered so that comforts me. Then again I would hate to have to send the thing back to Germany! Actually theres U.S. service departments listed on their site and it does come with a 1 year warranty but I imagine I'll never have to use it but just incase its there.

Overall Rating : 10
I would buy it again if it were destroyed or stolen. It has extreme clarity at high volume levels and is great for lead work. The extended treble it has will definately sound great with tube amps and really just in general. It makes for that crunch sound that is generally heard from tubes . The Construction is extremely nice. It's built like a tank, looks like a $500 cab and honestly sounds like it too. As with most gear that starts out this cheap then gradually builds a reputation, I would hate to see the price tag on this cabinet raised, as often it does. Extreme treble, full toned mids and the bass...well a bit lacking but not enough to REALLY matter. For my taste I would consider changing two of the 12's for a bassier pair but with the clarity and highs these have I would definately keep two in there. Heck, I'd have to find a use for the two I pulled out rather than sell them! (yes they sound that good) Nothing to compare these 12's too they are definately custom speakers designed by or for Behringer. I love the way this amp looks, I love the sparkling, breaking through highs this cab gives. You wont find yourself drowned out by other band members when playing a lead thats for sure! I don't hate anything about it but wish it had a bit more bass. Thats also going to depend on your head but theres a dozen easy fix's for it aswell as a simple choke in the speaker circuit to grab the bass. This cabinet has an advantage in the market for several reasons mainly being sound, quality, appearance and THE PRICE. It simply looks better than cabs costing twice the money and more while sounding like you payed double, even triple for it. If your not a gear snob and don't think price is everything then don't hesitate on buying this cabinet if you were considering it. I've been fortunate with all my gear, sometimes VERY fortunate and this is one of those very times. More than enough volume, the utmost clarity with screaming tone while remaining clean with enough bandwidth responce for any acoustic instrument.

Holy jeebus, this thing not only looks like a monster, but it is a monster. heavy-duty casters, metal grill instead of cloth, nothing to rip. Awesome

I don't think I'll have to get it repaired, but the place I bought it at will fix it for me for free the first time.

(FILL IN YOUR FAVORITE "IF STOLEN" QUOTE HERE) This thing is great. $200 for 400Watt handling, you cannot ask for more, and it sounds good too. Perfect for a guitarist looking for a big enough amp to gig without sucking you into debt...thank you Behringer!!!

This cabinet is very very very versatile! I play metal from Iron Maiden (heavy metal) to Deicide,Morbid Angel,Cannibal Corpse,Hate Heternal (death metal) and this cabinet is versatile for this style. I don't know if this cabinet has Jensen speaker like BG412S,but the quality is high like the marshall cabinets of new era. I use this cabinets with a Marshall VS100 head, boss GT6 effect pedal and Ibanez RG470 guitars with Di Marzio Paf-Pro at bridge.Very good,a kick in your fase when you load up the volume!

Sound Quality : 10
Very good sounds,i suggest this cabinet to play from Heavy metal to Death Metal!!Bass frequencies are very powerfull!!

I compare it to Marshall 1960 cabinet: in my opinion behringer cabinets are superior to Marshall cabinets of new era (since 1994)!

I recommend this amp fer Anything since I play DEATH METAL!!!!!!!
Another plus is the stereo switch.

Entombed!!!!

Not noisy at 160 watts
so I imagine it'll handle 200 with no problem.

This cab is brand new so I'm assuming it was made this year or last. This is a straight forward cab, 4X12 with Mono and Stereo inputs. It has a steel grille, metal edge caps, casters, tolex covering, pretty much what you would expect in a cab. It looks a little bulky compared to some other cabs but thats ok, you shouldn't be buying a cab for looks.

I play a Fender Telecaster with a Seymour Duncan Humbucker through a Hughes and Kettner ATS60 amp. This is run through a Peavy Session Bass Head the to the cab. I play post punk style similar to Fugazi meets Burning Airlines. I've always liked the sound of the Hughes but played through the 4X12 it sounds even better. The cab adds all the volume I need but keeps the sound true.

I just got this cab, and could never find reviews for it. So I wanted to get one up right away for anyone else out there looking to buy this. I've had it three weeks now and no problems. I don't expect anything to happen since I treat my stuff nice.

Again, haven't had it long enough to judge. Behringer is a German company and all the warranty info has to be mailed to Germany. So I imagine if I ever need help with it I will just find someone local to fix it. Its much to big and bulky to be shipping.

For the small amount of time I've used it I would say this is the best piece of equipment for the money I've bought. I had a lot of people tell me not to buy a $200 cab because it must be worthless. Everyone in my band thinks it sounds great and agree it was a great deal. I recommend it.

These cabs (I have two of them) were made in 2002. I am extremely impressed with these. They are well built. Solid as a rock and almost as heavy. I like the way you can switch it from mono to stereo and that it came with heavy duty removable casters. They have 4 12" Shark speakers.

Sound Quality : 10
Sounds great. I am running it through a Line 6 pod pro and for power I am using a Peavey 50/50 Classic. Also, I am playing a Carvin Dc727.

Reliability : 9
I have only had them for a month or so. Time will definately tell, but my last cabinet was an Ampeg, and it couln't take a beating for anything. This one is holding up quite well. I give it only a 9 because I haven't had it long enough yet.

Haven't had to use them. I hope I don't! I can't speak German!

Fill in your favorite saying here for the It someone stole it phrase. I can't tell you how impressed I am with the cabs. They really rock and are rock solid.
