Nice features, just like any other modeling solid state amp. It got amp/cabinet models, pre-amp effects, modulation, delay and reverb. In this price range it beats the other modelling amps when it comes to features (I also have Cube 30X, VOX VT30, Fender FM25DSP). There is even a WAH effect which can be controlled with Behringer FCV100 (does not work well with other controller pedal, I initially tried Zoom). The preset editing might not be that intuitive for new users, but I had the Behringer XV-Amp which I sold years ago (bad plastic construction) and this amp is exactly the XV-Amp, but with power amp and a nice full range speaker. The footswitch is a nice bonus/addition, other brand will not give the footswitch for free.

The basic sounds and effects are better than the floor effect (XV-Amp) connected to some random amplifier, maybe because the matching design of the cabinet dimension, power amp and the dual cone/full range speaker. The spot on models are British Plexi, Fender Blackface, Tweed and the VOX AC30TB. The high gain model are OK and the clean is nice (a little bit boomy though). Too bad there is no mid control which can be useful for more tweakability. The effects are not bad at all, except for the WAH which I think is a bit weak.
I also tried the AUX in with some MP3 player/songs. Some songs with Acoustic sounds really nice, but the bottom end sound does not comes out, especially for songs with a drum/percussion parts. But for jamming/playalong it's OK. But cannot be used as serious PA.
Some presets (the preset number is somewhere above 60) sound crackling, think about the sound it makes when you fry some eggs. I initially thought it was the power amp breaking due to unstable power source, but then I realize it did not happen for other presets. I later found that the delay setting is quite long and I think the poor DSP could not keep up and started to create this digital noise. No wonder, it's the technology used years ago for XV-Amp/V-Amp2. Now other manufacturer has upgraded their DSP to a more advanced one as they are getting cheaper (Line 6 already use SHARC). Poor Behringer, why can't you catch up on that processing power, or at least don't create that damn preset!
Other than that the sound suit my needs for jamming with friends in a small venue. Great value!

I seriously doubt that this will last! I have many Behringer Amps (for Keyboards and Bass) but I don't use them that often so they are still OK. I'm not a keyboard or Bass player so they are turned on only when my friends come into my house for jamming.
But for this, I believe I'm going to use a lot as I like the sound. Hopefully the built quality will show its face within the 1 year warranty period.

Last time my MS-8 stereo speaker was broken for some reason I don't know (normal use, no abuse). It was fixed and work as normal (with small hum though), the Behringer dealer in Bali charged me for the component even though it was still within the warranty period. Apparently the warranty is for service only.
But the dealer is responsive and make it back to normal. That is more important. But I hope this thing won't break.

I have been playing for more than 20 years, still not as good as professional though. Only touch the guitar twice a week max. But I know good sound! I have many amps so I have the freedom to compare. For clarity I like my VOX AD50VT and VT30 better. For rugged construction and reliability I like my Roland Cube 30X (use it as a backup) but it sound sterile. For spot-on Fender sound I use my Fender FM25DSP. For real tube sound I use my Marshall JCM2000 (heavy and big, only for serious occassion to scare my musician friends). But for a short blues jamming session with my band I will rely on this one. For the sound in this price (the cheapest amongst all) I will give this a 9. Way to go Behringer!

Digital guitar amp with 16 amp models and cabinet models.
I think this amp was made in 2008 and is momentarily a special offer.
10" Two cones speaker for ore treble sound if needed.
100 memory locations programable, really good adjustable effects,
EQ for bass and treble, guitar tuner, line-in input (RCA), comes along with footswitch for programm stepping,
45 Watts /Power consumption 75 Watts
headphone output = also line out,
I use it as an electric guitar amp and as an acoustic guitar amp.
Nice special: there is a no-amp-model channel, it allows you to use the line input with a mixer, and you can use this combo as a small PA !

I play a cheap strat copy, a Squire 51, and a Cort Jim Triggs model and Yamaha and Ibanez acoustic guitars.
It suits to my type of playing very well. I play mostly my own songs
and acompany myself. The acoustic sound is nice but you need to tweak it, the electric models are satisfying. There is no special acoustic channel, but some clean channels can deliver a good sound, which is not really acoustic but good for folk rock etc.
All sounds are very tuby.
Can do some Ricky-sounds too.
The effects are really good. Delays, Reverb and Chorus are more than acceptable.
As a folk-rocker I don't need heavy distortion, but there is a lot of them in this box.

I play guitar and sing for about 45 years. I'm not very demanding
high end sounds, but low noise and good and loud clean sounds and bluesy chrunch sounds should be possible when I buy a guitar amp.
This amp is not only a practice amp, but the speaker is limited when you put the volume to the max. But good and loud enough for small clubs I think. Maby I buy another one to go stereo.
If it's stolen I would replace it. It's my first modeling amp and I'm
very happy with it. The only thing I miss is a speaker out, but for that price it's ok.
