I am currently using a viper 301 with emg '81 pickups. I play mostly metal and death-grindcore (slipknot, soulfly, sepultura etc..). This amp is noisy on all settings. This cab sounds disgusting it makes the most horrible distortion sounds you can possibly think to imagine. It has limitied vareity and the only thing it is good for is taking a huge shit on it. I wanted to get a Kerry King-kinda sound not a Blink 182 one. After the first time i cranked behringer up i knew right away that it was the biggest piece of shit ever

Reliability : 4
i cannot depend on this cab excpet using it as a toilet. this cab sux ass!

ive used it for about 2 weeks and i hated even looking at it. this amp sucks soo much. if you think the price is good for it, trust me it really isn't. save up about 300 hundred more and get yourself a marshall or randall cab with celestions. As far as im concerned Behringer can kiss my ass! They should stick to what they know and thats mixers!

Purchased this cab new at Mars, it was the cheapest half stack available. It features stereo or mono inputs, 8 ohm only. It contains 4 12" Jensen speakers, rated at 100 watts each, giving a 400 watt total. The top two speakers are angled away from each other slightly, as well as angled up in relation to the bottom two speakers. The salesman said this was to enhance the stereo affect. The hookups in the rear remind me of a Peavey with two input jacks, and a stereo/mono switch. The case is not the thickest I've ever seen, but appears to be rigid enough. Front grill is metal, and speakers are clearly visible through the mesh. Metal corner protectors are used on all eight corners, and wheels are included. Plastic handles on either side are inset into the box, but the plastic doesn't feel very thick. Instructions come in 12 different languages, and the english version is a free sheet of paper (most of the rest are in a book).

Sound Quality : 3
I am playing this cab through a Peavey Butcher, using my Gibson Flying Vee with a Dimarzio Fred Neck/X2N Bridge pickup. My style of playing is Rock/Heavy. My previous experience with my amp told me right away that something wasn't right. I had to really crank the Butcher to get some strong sound out of this box. It may be that this cab is 8 ohms, and previous cabs I've used were 16 ohms. I don't know. I do know that it didn't impress me with the volume or quality of sound it produced. I was able to get a decent clean sound out of it, but any distortion threw the box for a loop. It just sounded bad.

Reliability : 4
This thing doesn't look like it would last long on the road. I give the handles two weeks before they're gone, and the wheels slightly longer. I've only owned it for 3 hours, and don't plan on keeping it for long. In all fairness, it hasn't broken yet, so I'll rate it higher than I rated it's sound quality. This cab was purchased for home use, so moving it from gig to gig wasn't a consideration when buying it. If you want something for the road, keep looking.

Authorized service centers from all over the world are listed in the instruction/warranty sheet. I haven't called them.

I've been playing for 30 years. If this cab were stolen, lost or burst into flames spontaneously, first I'd celebrate, then I'd buy something else.
I really liked the low price. I really hated the sound quality.
I compared it to the low end Marshall cabs. This had less plastic on it, and the price was 80 bucks less. I should have known better.
This could have been a better cab if they had used some known good guitar amp speakers. Jensen makes some Ok car speakers, maybe they should stick to that. I also wish they'd gone with a 16 ohm input impedance, instead of 8 ohm.

Bottom line, it is the cheapest thing in the store for a reason. If you are going to spend 300 bucks, go to a pawn shop and buy something good, or spend more money and buy something new with more quality. This is only a bargain if you are deaf.

dual head stereo capability, i enjoy this because it allows you to mix two different sounds in one cab. the 4 12 inch jensen speakers. 108 smacking pounds and it is extremely oversized.

Sound Quality : 3
i use a peavey transtube supreme head, and i alter it with a marshall mg100cd with a Kramer Striker and an Epiphone Les Paul with the original pickups. The first 10 to 15 minutes of playing through the cab the cab sounds awesome! but after that the god damn speakers get muddy, muddy as hell. when the speakers get warmed up the sound just sucks, big donkey balls. but if you are a quite clean person it's ok.

Reliability : 6
i don't call it reliable due to the crappy sound it causes me. the thing is from germany or something so i don't call it reliable anyway.

Customer Support : 5
like i said the people are from germany and the warranty is only year long
