I`ve bought the last on this earth for now. I think the amp was built in 2000. The person that built this amp has disappeared. This is a shame because he builds a great amp. This thing is great for Jimi Hendrix (RED HOUSE),SRV like to a tee, this thing has a bit of a plexi sound out a fenderish type of amp. It has two channels , a very sweet and ajustible reverb, 3 tens , tube rectifier...great range in power, not to big for a small gig, and big enough for good size bar. This thing is 35 to 40 pounds at the most, if I missed something read the other reveiws.

The sound of this amp will get very close to all the fender sounds out there, tweed, brown, black face, but do them very well. This thing loves strats, it will make your stratocaster sound the way you imagined it would, and more,I`m not shittin you guys this is the truth. The clean is very sweet and the reverb has three nobs just to dial in the greatest effect on it. The dials are very responsive and sensitive. I can`t explain the way this thing breaks up, other than to say it`s exceptional. There is only 50 of these made and I have one :| . I have 3 keeley pedals, ts9 modded, ds1 moded, boss blues pedal moded, and a few other good pedals...........but I don`t use them with this amp because it hides the sound of the amp abit, just for now anyway. The best way to discibe it is ..you no when your looking for that great tone and you think you`ll never find it , well I did.

Considering it is called a "Bluesmaster" I would say it has a ton of features, afterall what do you need to play the blues?..........TONE and this amp has plenty of it. 2 non-switchable channels and a incredible built in 3 knob reverb. 3X10" Jenson Re-Issue speakers

I play a Custom built strat w/ Rio Grande Vintage Tallboy pickups with 11's. I play the blues, SRV,Jimmie Vaughan, Freddie King, BB,Johnny winter. Blues with an edge I guess. For me this amp does exactly what I want, pure 6L6 distortion. Sounds like a '64 Super Reverb with more ton.

Not sure yet, haven't had it out. But it is point to point construction and everyone else has given these amps very high marks, so I guess I will do the same.

I've been playing guitar for 13 years, if it were stolen I would definatel;y replace it with another, except maybe a blond tolex one instead of the BF style. I love the tone this amp puts out. I have a Tweed Super and a Tweed Deluxe and this amp can get close to the same sounds as the Super with the addition of Reverb! for me this amp doesn't need anything else. go check out any Blues Pearl product I am sure you will like what you hear!

Made in 2000. Has 2 "non switchable" channels, both with bright switches. Controls on 1st channels are "volume, treble, bass", controls on 2nd channel are "volume, treble, middle, bass." Speakers are in a 3x10 configuration but my model has 2 10 inch jensen c10r's and a jensen p10r. Robert Hudson said it was a sweet combo and sounded great, and i liked it better than just 3 c10r's so i went with it. 40 watts output, the power tubes are 2 6l6's. Mine came stock with some NOS power tubes which was a 50 dollar upgrade, as well as the 50 dollar upgrade for the speaker configuration, and a 50 dollar upgrade because i got blonde tolex with an oxblood grillcloth(looks killer). Amp is point to point hand wired, which was a real influence on my decision, it shows that the amp maker stays close to details and doesn't focus's on the sound rather than ease in construction. I gave this a 9 just because this catagory is based on versatile, thats not what the bluesmaster is about. A versatile amp is usually the jack of all trades, master of none. The bluesmaster is true to it's name, the master of blues!

I have a Fender Deluxe Strat Plus with DiMarzio Virtual Vintage 54 pickups. It's a very fat sound with the pearl, perfect for the blues tones that i'm looking for. I use a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 and a Fulltone Deja Vibe which sound great with the amp as well. There is great clean headroom on the amp, but as you crank it, it gets grittier and dirtier, it's the perfect tone. I can get some good rock tones out of it, no heavy distortion, it's a blues amp though, and thats what i like! The overdrive isn't brutal, it's not a high gain amplifier. The tube saturation sounds great though, and it does have a good amount of breakup. It's a very sweet overdrive.

I'm not sure, i have had it for about a week. I doubt it would break down though, it's built like a tank, very sturdy construction. I would rely on it though. The construction of the amp is flawless, it's not super heavy either. I would rely on it without a doubt.

Robert Hudson, the amp's designer, Blues Pearl founder, and Owner, has got to be the most knowledgable, nice guy i've ever talked to. He really cares about his customers, what they think, and is honest as it gets. I talked to him about an hour on the phone one time, he was telling me about his amps, and just stuff that is unknown about famous artists like stevie ray vaughan and the real stuff he used. I've talked to him about 3 times on the phone though, he's a great guy, and like I said, he cares about you, the customer, and he'll talk to you if you have one of his amps or not. I could have talked to him for hours but he had to cut it short because he had some important things to do.

I love this amp to death, it's got an unmatchable tone, sounds like a vintage fender, has a 5 year warranty, and is perfectly constructed. I am head over heels about this piece, It won't be replaced, if i get some other amp, it'll just be added and i'll start a collection. I'd like a Blues Pearl Texas Tornado though, it's a great amp to dime, sounds AWESOME!

This amp was my choice after a year and a half long search. I then had many lengthy discussions with Robert Hudson, as to my needs/wants/styles in an amplifier, and the Bluesmaster is IT.
It was built in November/December 1999 in Custom Blonde tolex and Tweed style grillcloth. It is modeled after the Blackface style Fender amps. It's all tube, hand wired point to point with aged pine cabinet and baffleboard.
It has two non-switching channels:
Ch.1 Volume, Treble, Bass and Bright Switch
Ch.2 Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass and Bright Switch
3 knob Reverb works with both channels. Very full sounding 'verb.
40 watts
What else do you need?
It's simple to operate and no bells and whistles to get in the way of the fantastic tone. You will really notice a difference in the tone of different guitars.

I play a variety of styles ranging from Blues/Jazz/Top 40/Modern Rock and it does all of these exceptionally well. I use (all stock) '57 RI Stratocaster, a G&L Legacy Special and a Heritage H-535. In my opinion, it sounds most responsive when I use the Strat, but it does sound excellent with anything I've plugged in so far. The amp also sounds great when using a Tube-Screamer or Boss Overdrive.
Lots of clean headroom on both channels until about 5-6, then it's got a great natural sounding 'growl' to it.
I find it sounds best at about 6-7, but it does get loud (40 watts).

I started out bringing a back-up, as I really didn't know what to expect from this amp, but after just a few gigs I now leave the back-up amp at home...
It performs reliably and consistently every time.
I always know what to expect when I turn it on. It sounds GREAT!

I've been playing guitar for about 24 years. I've owned just about every high end amp out there. I find this amp to be very Fendery-sounding and would buy it again if it were stolen.
It's more reliable and consistent than any Boogie I've owned, plenty of clean headroom and it's built to last. Very solid construction.

(IMO) Very fat clean tones, and killer overdrive. It seems to like my PRS , and US Strat both. All hand built, point to point and such. The 3 knob reverb adds so much for my style of playing. Kinda a "Fender" Vibroking, w/o vibro- and half the price.
