Vintage 30 spekers. Side recessed handles, top lift strap. Heaviest guage wire I have ever seen. Fully enclosed back. If you need stereo buy another box!

Unsurpassed for a 2x12. I use it with a Bogner Ecstacy, nice woody bottom end, smooth mids and tops, not harsh at all. Sounds huge, is loud enough for just about any size gig.

I have played through a quad for 20 years, and like most people finally decided to go for the 2x12. I was suprised how good the 2x12 actally sounds. There is no real advantage in carting a quad once the cab is miced anyway, even unmiced the Bogner has ample volume and body. Superior build quality, costs a lot but well worth the money. If you want a quality cab buy a Bogner if you are worried about the cost you're in the wrong place. Go buy some crappy inferior piece of junk!

OK..I have had this for 10 months now..so the "honeymoon is over. Its a cab that moves TON of air..recorded with it..played live with it numerous times..forget it..this thing just kills! Workmanship is second to none.

I use this with a Bogner 4x12 slant and a 101B head..sometimes 3 way and sometimes stand alone. The thing just delivers. In the studio..it records like a 4x12. Built like a tank and loves to be pushed. This is the best 2x12 I have ever head and I have used Mesa cabs for years..not rectos but vintage quality(when they used to make them) cabs.

about a week ago i bought a used 2005 2x12 oversized cab with both backs from a friend of mine. i loved the recessed handles, that's tough to find in a 2x12. the casters are good, but you can't expect a ton, these cabs are kinda built to be put in road cases. THE THING IS BUILT LIKE A TANK. the wood is about an inch to an inch and a half thick, very very solid resonant spongy sounding wood. i've never heard a cab that took the vintage bluesy stuff so well, then turned around and cab tear a high gain amp to shreds. Extreeeeemly versitile.

i've used this cab over the course of a week with about 15 amps. i work in a music store that is a mesa, bogner, bad cat, dr.z, rivera, line 6 and fender dealer. i took this cabinet and unplugged the speakers of every combo in the room, and it SMOKED all of them, even the bad cats, and the shiva. then i took all the heads (dr.z 6545. bogner metropolis, even the solodano) which were all plugged into the dr.z cabs and a mesa 3/4 back 4x12. THIS CAB SOUNDS TWICE AS BIG AND HAS TWICE THE BASS RESPONSE OF A MESA 3/4 BACK 4x12. there is so much unfilled airspace in it that it completely fills the room and the bottom and mids can studder your heart beat, without being loose at all. in short, it sounds almost exactly (even in bigness) like an old solid wood back hendrix era marshall cab, but is tight enough to take on modern amps just as well as it does my 1968 fender bandmaster reverb.

i honestly havent had it long enough to tell you, but i know tons of people with bogner stuff, and i have never once heard someone complain or have a problem, especially with the cabs. this thing is THICK. really really solidly built cab

it sounds just as big (bigger in some cases) as a 4x12. its lighter than a 4x12. it has probably the thickest wood ive ever seen in a cab. even as a CLOSED BACK it has the best vintage tone out of a cab ive ever heard. the thing is usable in any application. i dont think i'm ever buying another cab in my life (unless bogner tops themselves). it's incredible, period.

- 2004 Bogner 2x12 oversized cabinet, partially open back, recessed side handles, top handle, high quality tolex work, black tolex w/wheat colored speaker grill. About 70 pounds, so very managable. I came here planning on rating it a full 10, but then reread some posts indicating a need for stereo and mono wiring jacks....having a stereo triaxis/2:90 I could also use this feature although I do not intend on using that rig much now that I have a shiva...but I do recognize that it would make this cabinet more useable if it was stereo.

2 Strats, one with lace sensors, and one with Lindy Fralin Blues Specials and an Unbucker in the bridge. Rock and Blues...no top 40, jazz or country. The cabinet sounds alive and woody, just like I was told it would...I cannot believe how much better my rig sounds compared to the boogie 4x12 closed back cabinet I had before. Alive and woody....if that makes sense... I believe this cabinet would sound great for any musical genre..due to it's ability to accomdate twany (country) and warmth (jazz) along with the other attributes I am getting for my blues and rock.

Looks to be built solid...decent casters, heavy duty wiring, quality tolex work, best I've seen. Being a partial open back (probably a 3" opening across the width of the back...I would definitely plan on using a speaker cover to keep dust and car debris out of the cabinet.

Bogner has given me good customer support. I've probably called them about 8 times total, before and after my purchases...3 times i've reached them live, 3 times I've had call backs within 2 hours...2 times callbacks the next day. When we talk, they are patient and helpfull, always answering my questions to my complete satisfaction. I've worked with Sean, Jeorg (spelling?) and Greg V. and they're all great to work with.

I had heard good things about this cabinet...and it's all very very true. I was using a mesa boogie stereo rectifier cabinet, 4x12, closed back. My shiva and my boogie triaxis/2:90 sounded great...so I thought, although the closed back cabinet was very directional, so my drummer had a hard time hearing me, and the crowd in front got creamed while the crowd to the side could not hear me. A bigger problem was that cabinet weighed 120 pounds and was not easily manageable on my own.
I was told I would have to wait 8 weeks for the bogner cab, and in the end it took 12 weeks to receive it.
This cabinet sounds so much better than my previous cabinets that it would be hard to convey to you exactly what I am experiencing...best I could describe it is my sound has become alive, I can hear the wood of the guitar, the single coil hum canceling tap coil type sounds associated with the #2 and #5 position of my strat seem accentuated compared to before...and roughly it sounds twice as good as my previous 4x12 and half the weight...It also seems about as loud in that I have cut my speakers in half and yet I can only turn up the amp a little...if master volume was at 9 o'clock before, it's at 9:30 now with the same volume. I was leery about ordering a partial open back cabinet, always prefering closed back cabinets...in my mind i envisioned a combo type open back..that is not the case here...it's only partially open..the opening essentailly works like a port...This things sounds awesome!

This 2x12 cab came with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers and a closed back. There is an option for an open back panel, but I preferred the closed back for projection(has recorded to tape very well). I play various styles of music from rock to fusion and I think this is a great sounding cab. It is a bit on the large side--larger than most other 2x12s I've seen, and is quite expensive--but these products are not massed produced and built really well, so the price is ok.

I compared this cabinet against several others on the market: Mesa, Soldano, etc. The Bogner was far and away the best sounding although it is a bit pricey even used.
Even compared this 2x12 to Marshall, Soldano and Mesa 4x12, again I felt the Bogner tonally blew away the competition. The speakers are rated at 65W, and hence do not break up too much-except at loud volumes, which is what I prefer--I want the amp to provide breakup not the cab. (This is real important to me when in a recording situation.) This cab seems to have a little more space than their 4x12 cabinet, which is why I chose it.

I dealt with Bogner to ask some initial questions about their product line before making a purchase. The person I spoke to was very helpful and I didn't feel rushed at all, so I've got to give these guys a perfect rating in this area.

Amazing sounding cabinet and built like a tank. Probably won't find a better sounding or engineered 2x12 cab on the market--I certainly couldn't.

Bogner 2X12 cab with two celestion vintage 30 speakers, partially open back. I mean partially, because it only has about a 2 inch opening in the back, so it is mostly closed in the back. I guess for open back I usually think of mostly or completely open, but this cab really has very little open on it.
I wish it was wired for stereo or mono, but it is just wired for stereo. So for features, I will give it a 9.

Sounds Excellent. I use a VHT Pittbull 45 to play blues and it gets the sound I want. From clean to crunch and everything in between. Best cab I have ever played through. It sounds at least as good as any 4X12. IF you are looking to move away from lugging a 4X12 around, this is your cab.

I was in the market for a 2X12 cab, and I saw this with such a good price so I jumped on it. It is probably one of the best pieces of equipment I have ever owned, that includes everything...guitars, processors, everything. It is a little big, but manageable, get one with casters, and it really nails the sound of a 4X12. I plug into other cabs and when I get back to this one I go... AHHHH.... it just sounds like what a great cab should sound like. I am only giving it a 9 because they are typically so expensive, so I wouldn't consider it a great value, but it is a great cab, and it should be for the price.

This is Bogner's larger 2*12 cabinet. It is a semi-open back cabinet loaded with 1 celestion G12M greenback and 1 celestion vintage 30. Impedance is 16 ohms and the factory wiring is heavy gage wire. The cabinet is covered in black tolex and has the wheat color grill cloth. Each side has a recessed handle and there is one strap handle on top. The previous owner installed removable casters on the bottom. The casters were a good idea. I'm not sure how to rate speaker cabinets for features so I give it an 8.

I am used to 4*12 closed back cabinets so I was a little worried that I would not get the sound I like. But I wanted a 2*12 for easier portability. Upon playing thru the bogner, I was really impressed. I am using a 50 watt Marshall head and it sounds absolutely wonderful. I think any amp would sound good thru this cabinet.

I am very satisfied with the cabinet. The sound and quality construction are first rate. I paid a little more than some other brands 2*12 cabinets cost but I feel this cab is well worth the extra money. If you are looking at 2*12 cabinets, you owe it to yourself to check out Bogner.
