i dont know what year it is,am courious but thisis the best amp i have ever played through for blues, rock.i've tried matchless, two rock, fender, you name em'i tried em!
anyway this amp is built to the hilt. i bought it used, luckily found one since there were only around 25 or so made!i wish the clean channel would stay a little cleaner at higher volumes but o well i don't usually have it turned up that often anyway!i am courious to see what they will be going for in a few more years.
BOGNER KICKS ASS!!!what else can i say,i own a extacy 101b too and love it also so i feel like i am in heaven when i run both rigs!
if you get a chance to buy one, DO!

Mine is a 2 channel 60 watt combo built in 1998. It is powered by a pair of EL34s. The combo shell is the deep Vox style with two Celestion Vintage 30s. This amp is the king of vintage tones, from clean to supersaturated with tone controls that actually do something. The footswitch gives you control over channel switching, boost for each channel, and on/off for both the pre loop and post loop.

This is a great amp for classic rock tones, blues or even modern country, it is very touch sensitive in that when you dig in it gets gritty and when you lay back or back off on the guitar volume it cleans up. I would not recommend this amp for hard rock or metal, the Shiva or Ecstacy have much more gain in their lead channels.

This a is a very durable amp. The parts are all top quality which you can hear in the pure sounds the amp. Outside of maintaing the tubes you will probably never have a problem.

The guys at Bogner are all great. They are all players so they understand good tone and the need for reliabilty. If you have a problem or question they will take care of you.

I have played a ton of diferent amps over the years and by far the Bogner stuff has the most tonal variety and best dependability. My only complaint is that quality costs so I can't afford to buy more than one right now.

It called the Caveman, but the back panel reads Mojo. Whichever it is, it's great. 2 channels, both with a 6 position Schizo knob. Really gives a ton of versatility. Dark, bright, warm sounds- choose your tone. 2 effects loops, one pre, that's designed for pedals, and the other for rack-mounts. Channel switching, both loops, boost, and standby are all on the footswitch. 2 power tubes, but I AB'd this amp's headroom against a Mesa Triple Rectifier and it had more clean and more lows in the lead mode. Feels like a 100watt amp. Straight forward front panel ( I find the Ecstasy a little intimidating.)

Great clean, distortion tones that are so real. No hint of solid-state in the circuit. Ultra toneful. The guys at Make'n Music told me that they had sent one to Walter Becker for the new Steely Dan release. Can't wait.

The Dealer had every piece of Bogner gear, including the new Shiva. They fully understood all the pieces and their tones. I was able to compare with Soldano, Mesa, Matchless, etc and chose the Bogner. Make'n Music in Chicago knows tone.

I'd buy another. I'll get a Shiva. My only complaint is it's heavy. But, when you see the transformers, you know why. ( probably why it sounds so good) I own a plexi Marshall, a Fender Twin, and this is the best sounding amp I've ever heard. The most gigging amp available.
