I pay for 22 years, Marshall 410H, Engl and Modelers. Would buy this amp again and again. I love the breathing sound...its versatility...and the best Higain-Sound on this planet!...i hate the noise in ch3...compare to all other tops: Bogner Ecstasy is the Nr. 1..absolutely!!!...I wish, it would have MIDI...yes, of course, this amp is expensive, but it is definitely the end of my search!...don??t buy any other cheaper amp with compromise...please wait, til you get the original BOGNER ECSTASY!!!...it is BENTLEY and FERRARI in one box...)))

The Bogner Ecstasy is extremely versitile. It features three channels: Green, Blue and Red. The GREEN channel has gain, bass, middle, treble, volume, pre eq, boost and a presence with excursion switches for loose and tight feel (This alters the tone significantly and creates Many new tone choices)
The BLUE & RED Channels have BLUE gain, RED gain, bass, middle, treble,BLUE vol, RED vol, BLUE pre-eq, REDpre-eq,selectable Low or High gain-structure, gain boost, and the Plexi-mode The Plexi Channel is voiced to please players who love that wide open 60's British sound. Plexi is a lower gain channel than Lead. Like the older amps it emulates, the louder you turn it up the better it sounds. As you can see, the plexi channel can be assigned to either BLUE Channel 2 or RED Channel 3. This enables you to keep intact your favorite dirty channel, 2 or 3, and kick back and forth between plexi and your favorite channel. The footswitch selects the three channels and Gain Boost 1 & 2, Effects loop In/Out and a VERY COOL Standby switch

My band plays five nights a week www.BigRockShow.com
We're a classic rock cover band and I get tones from Van Halen, Randy Rhoads/Zakk Wylde, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan. The ecstasy nails every vibe I need. I use a variety of guitars a Les Paul Custom, a Vintage Stratocaster, An Ibanez RG, and a Cloud guitar (ala O(+> Prince)with each instrument the Ecsatsy reacts just as every amp should it retains it's own tone but recognizes the uniquness of the instrument I'm playing. I don't have to alter any of my settings I just switch guitars based on the tone I'm going for. The Ecstasy is the quietest "High Gain" amp I've ever played and I own several. Even with the Hottest gain at extreme volumes the amp remains very quiet. Noisless switching between channels.
I play extremely loud. I'm usually not even in the PA mix. and the Ecstasy cuts through thick and loud. The Clean stays clean and full of bottom

I've just had the amp a few weeks but it's built like a tank.
I'd never do a gig without backup amp. Anything can happen to ANY amp. I use an ENGL Savage Special Edition as a second amp. I also pack a Carvin Legacy for backup

As I mentioned earlier I also use an ENGL SAVAGE Special Edition. It's is a great amplifier. It has a more crunchy overall tone than the Ecstasy. The Bogner Ecstasy is in a class all by it's self.
If the ENGL were a car I'd compare it to a Corvette. The Bogner would be a Lamborghini!
It's an expensive amp and being a full time musician it's hard to afford a luxury like the Bogner but it's worth every penny. When your tone is so happening the inspiration that overtakes your playing is priceless.
