Bogner 1x12 ported cabinet with Celestion Classic Lead 80 @ 16 ohms.
Black tolex, Wheat grill, large handle, rubber feet, mono, 38lbs.

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using a Bogner Shiva (EL34) with reverb, but I'm also using a rack system with it. The Celestion Classic lead 80 is a great speaker! When I first purchased the cabinet and played through it, it sounded a little bright? but being a new speaker, it had to be broken in. After being broken in there is a world of difference! The tone is warm with punch, I believe the cab has "tuned ports" if you look inside, you can see that the ports are of a certain size and dovetail corners, birch ply, there is a white fiberglass filling around the inside of the cab. The back panel is approximately 3" in from the back, not flush. I believe with the tuned ports and the type of speaker, for warmth, punch and clarity, without being boomy or box sounding, it was constructed that way for a purpose. People have told me, they thought it sounded like a 2x12 and that was at low levels. When I turn it up loud, it is so full sounding, you just won't know until you see for yourself! This is a wonderful cabinet.

Reliability : 10
I've had it for over a year and have played it "loud" four times a week during rehearsals and every weekend in clubs and I can tell you the speaker is awesome, NO problems! Bogner quality.

I've talked to almost everyone there at Bogner and they all were great!

I've been playing for over 30yrs and I love great equipment, the Bogner Shiva style 1x12 tuned ported cabinet is one of the best 1x12's I have ever heard!! I have tried every 1x12 from every company out there! (Mesa, VHT, Matchless) and so on. Bogner makes great equipment, you will not be sorry with this!

Brand new 2006 Bogner Shiva style 1x12" ported cabinet. It has the Celestion Vintage 80 Speaker (mono) 16 ohm. Black tolex with wheat grill. New large handle & rubber feet. It would be a "10" if I knew what a 10 cab was? maybe stereo? Just as it sits it is an awesome cabinet.

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using my Bogner Shiva EL34 amp with this cab and the tone is awesome! I wasn't sure if a 1x12 would do it for me, other than in a studio setting, but playing it live with other musicians (guitar players) who own Marshall 4x12's, it stayed right up there with them? it cut through the mix and the tone was very full and balanced! I love this cab. it's easy to carry to club gigs, fast to hook up and take down. When miked it sounds like a 4x12, again I was very surprised! The Celestion Vintage 80 sounds warm and full, I've used the Celestion Vintage 30's for years and love them also! but with the way the tuned ports react with the cab dimensions and speaker, it is an outstanding 1x12. The clean sounds beautiful, it can be loud but clear, and the distortion sounds very "Plexi like" with a modern touch, kind of like a JCM 800 & Plexi together. I use a couple of pedals for versatility. overall an awesome 1x12 Cabinet.

Reliability : 10
It's a Bogner product! 3/4" birch ply, dovetail corners, large handle, so far it's been great at gigs and studios.

Customer Support : 10
Bogner is an outstanding company! if you call them they really know there products. I've talked to Shawn and he's been very good at answering my questions that I may have, it's been all good!

Overall Rating : 10
Like many people I've been playing for many years (over 25) I have had a ton of gear, and most of it has been some of the best equipment. When I look for equipment I research the internet, talk with people and so on. I am so impressed with this Shiva style 1x12 ported cabinet, I would recommend it to anyone, not just because I own one, but if you had a chance to compare it to Mesa, VHT, Soldano, Matchless and so on it will blow you away! Tone with Balance, warm with punch, very wide but focus! Easy to carry, I have had so many 4x12's and 2x12's that were very heavy, with help it's not so bad, but try a 5hr rehearsal and haul that 4x12 down two flights of stairs, with ice and snow to slow it all down? people do it, but what a hassel! The 1x12 has been great in studios, live playing (classical jazz rock, progressive fusion pop) it has been the best! I can't say enough good things about it, if you have an open mind, want to carry a great cab that projects and cuts in the mix, this is one to have!

A 1x12 cabinet, plywood construction, one Celestion Classic Lead 80 speaker (which can be either 8 Ohms or 16 Ohms), dual ported. One jack input.

Sound Quality : 10
This is the best 1x12 cabinet availabe, in my opinion. You will pay more than you would for the average 1x12, and the sound will be a lot better, too. The dual ports allow the cabinet to breathe without sacrificing bass response.

Reliability : 10
So far, so good.

Bogner is very responsive.

The perfect companion to the Bogner Shiva head.
