Amplifier was built in 2004 by hand!
First off I would like to thank the three builders of this amp especially Mr. Jim West such a fantastic Hi Fidelity sound 18 watt head I have ever played and Brad at after Midnight Custom Guitars and amplifiers Santa Fe New Mexico for a stupid killer speaker cabinet design 4x8 Jenson Mods closed back front bottom ported cabinet these two are a match made in heaven if you ask me. and Pete for turning me on to their small company!!
This amplifier is simple to use and very light weight all tube point to point wired and the top of the line parts, 18watt two EL-84 power tubes reverb, dwell, treble, bass and volume 21-lb head and 26-lb 4x8 speaker enclosure easy on dragging to gigs in a big city no cab drivers passing you by, that has happened many times in the past!

Sound Quality : 10
I have been playing for over 25 years clubs as well as big gig tours.
My guitars consist of Gibson Les Paul?s, Gibson ES/335, Fender Stratocasters and Telecasters!
My music ranges from R&R, Blues, Country as well as Jazz.
I have had countless amplifiers over the years and have had the privilege to play on a few that I would love to own but price range was insane (Dumble).
I love fender black face amplifiers but they never seem to have enough to take you every place you need to be when you need it such as tight gain when you need it and normal tones in a split second with out dragging your pedals all over with you.
This amplifier is a dream in tone and versatility the two EL-84?s compress well and tight at 7~9 it goes Plexy Marshall at 6 it has a AC-30 VOX Fender Black face deluxe thing going on not raspy but not dark at the same time, below that it sounds Fender Tweed but with a more breathy tone as most players tell me it has a Hi Fidelity sound to it unlike other amplifiers they have played on!
This is one of the most touch sensitive amplifiers I have ever played on if you are sloppy this amp will cure you of that real fast, it makes you want to play better you simply have no choice! Pick attack is unreal your one with the feel.
As the other guy says this is a super transparent sounding amplifier what you plug into it it sounds like it guitars as well as pedals another thing you will catch is when you pull back the volume on your guitar this amp tone stays the same dosent get thin or dull I have never had a Fender do that ever.
I had a DR-Z 18 2x10 combo it was a fantastic amplifier but after hearing this guy I sold it hands down this is a multi trick pony that you never want to stop playing on, loud enough for small gigs and studio work mic it for the big gigs you wont be disappointed, the guys at After Midnight showed me how versatile this amp is by plugging an acoustic Martin into it as well as a Nylon string Bass and it blew me away.

Reliability : 10
ALL the way to Alaska and back Dudes!!
so far one year has passed and replaced power tubes and one 12AX7 nothing to do with the amplifier.

Customer Support : 10
at this point the best but we will see after this small micro brewing amplifier company gets off the ground.

Overall Rating : 10
Nothing I hate about it other than wish I had one 20 years ago!
Stolen? I B Kicking some ASS!!
Smokes Bad Cat, Matchless and DR/Z off the board.
I understand These guys are comeing up with this setup in a closed back 4x8 18watt combo I will be the first on the list as well as a 30watt and a 45watt Purple George Lynch Marshall type head but with Bonepicker twist to it, This should be something from what I am gathering!!
If you think you want to check one out call Brad at After Midnight in Santa Fe,NM (505)995-0638 I am not getting special treatment for this just would like to see these guys get around the block as they build some special Amplifiers.

Fender Stratocasters, Telecasters,Les Paul, ES-335!!
Rock, Blues,Jazz,R&B,Country Just about anything pickin or finger style! This is long but I have no other way of telling you!>>Bonepicker 18 Watt amplifier head
This little bread basket size All tube point to point wired sweet heart is a must have for the tube amplifier purest!
The first time I saw this little amp was in me friends music store it was a proto faceless and nameless and sitting on a custom built 4 X 8 sealed back front ported cabinet, It didn?t look like much just an amplifier that was in the process of getting and a name put on it, but closer look over I noticed was built like it was a fine Swiss watch.
A week or so went buy when I finely spit it out ?What is that??
My friend replied Oh that?s a Prototype amplifier we are working on that we took to the NAMM show in Anaheim California this summer, and proceeded with an evil but needing gleam to tell me all about it and the history and theory behind its creation, Me as a freak for All breathing living things with tubes had to feel this amp I just had a set of Kinman Woodstock Pups installed into my Strat by my friend Brad so I plugged her into this little Hay seed looker and fired it up, First thing in mind small l thought two EL-84 power tubes and a couple 12AX-7 Pre tubes and a Recto.
Volume treble bass and high low switch nothing fancy or that I have never seen before my thought is FENDER TONE, FENDER SOUND, FENDER CLEAR Ya'DEE' Ya'!! Boy Was I FENDER WRONG!!
This is like a B/F Fender on LSD (CID for you old Heads)!!
It has every thing you ever wanted to hear come out of an amplifier ?The sound of your guitar? and the feel of your guitar and every thing you wanted to say and cry out in your playing comes out of this Little Girl, it is one of the most transparent sounding amplifiers I have played through, a true guitar players angle of mercy it produces your guitars true sound not your guitar through an amplifier by name, just your guitar and with true feeling I tried my other guitars through this amp Texas specials, Duncan Seth Lovers thinking it may be the Kinmans clean transparent sound NOPE it was this amp.
Now I am a reverb head I like just a little in my mix to smooth the ends off, this didn?t have reverb and I played this amplifier for almost two hours and was breathless by its tone and voice, organic and mainly transparent nature touch sensitivity is beyond words it pulls stuff out of your soul that you always wanted to express but couldn?t due to the lack of feel and limitations of most amplifiers in the affordable price range!!
I have owned and played a few top end amplifiers in my 26 years of playing Kendrick, Bruno, Matchless, Victoria, First era Boogies and a Whole slew of Fenders>tweed, Black face and silvers I own a BUDDA Verbmaster 18 and this little babe puts the BUDDA in the back seat!!
I am more of an Amplifier Head than a guitar head I love Sound And Tone and am always looking for it like a crack head and this is a real holy grail bell tone sweet transparent clear water soul mate for life amplifier!! Even Acoustic players find this Amplifier well suted for there style Jo Veillette of Veillette guitars Woodstock NY has ordered one!

Reliability : 10
This amp is built like a tank by a ARMY Guy that takes no short cuts but understands your Average JO club player can?t truly afford a good reliable all tone players amplifier with out selling his soul at the Cross roads to get one, so this in mind they are truly affordable, small enough to strap to a motor cycle ( I did this for years with a Fender Deluxe Reverb)Built with every high end part in the list including ceramic tube sockets and big dollar caps!
And has plenty of bottom punch an top end chime to be The player of the Year in a small venue this is mainly due to the design of this amazing 4x8 cabinet sounds so big and clear!!

Customer Support : 10
This guy will never sleep till he finds a glitch I have passed the word around about this amp like when your a Kid in school and first fall in love with a girl!!
People who have bought one can't get guitar players off the thing when they plug in. The review on the Super Super 4x10 has the best sounding Super I have ever played Nothing like it!!
The county pickers will honestly love this amp!
Ther is three Watts of this tone Goddess being made for the summer NAMM 2005 show 8 Watt little amplifier, 18 Watt and a 30 Watt comes in head or Combo!

Overall Rating : 10
26 years +!!
If it were stolen it would find its way home like an old dog after it killed its Captor!!
No honestly I would Cry but then get another in a flash!!

I can't compare it to any other amplifier it's that diffrent and alive!
If all women where like this amplifier there would be no E-harmony.com
