features? You only can switch via MIDI to the 3 channels, but it make sense! I put a g-major inside the 19inch slot and this makes it to a sound machine! 120Watts are a little oversized but who cares? ;-)

Sound... yeah... the distortion-channels has more then you need, but if you switch it to a low level, you have a tone of god.
The clean channel is very dry. VERY DRY! I put the gain on top to get a nice clean, but it still is a dry thing. Put a few FX in front and it is usable. If I had enough roadies I would prefere my VOX AC30 or ORANGE for clean... But the distortion is a hammer! Also I put some 6CA7 tubes inside, that makes it much bigger and creates a bigger low-end. Try it!

Never broke down, nice quality!

Very nice contact (mail) getting everything answered.

I love the MIDI thing, the 19inch slot (version I only), the Mastervolume and the gain-poti for every channel. FX-loop is incredible and also its quality. Has everything you need. The only thing is the cleansound, which is much toooooo dry. But you also can use it for acoustics, thats a pro!
Check it, play it, love it or leave it. And replace the EL34 to 6CA7!!! Then it has more low-end, and less scream. I would buy it again...

I bought it new in 2001, but I think it was made in 2000. This is a great amp for very good guitarists, unless it becomes hard to get out a good sound. I play noise rock and it wasn't the amp for me so I sold it after 1,5 years, now I've got a Mesa/Boogie. The 059 head has a great load of mids and even too much gain, easily it can be heard clearly in the sound mix.
It's a three channel all tube head (clean, crunch, solo), each channel has its own indipendent equalization, master and gain control, plus three common controls which are Master Volume, Presence and Body. Clean channel has a bright on/off switch, crunch and solo channels have got (one for each) an on/off "Mellow" switch and they can be boosted by midi, there's also a midi-activable option called "crunch-solo tone reverse" which uses the gain of the channel you're running through with the eq. of the other distorted channel (ex. you're using crunch channel, if you select this option then you'll use the gain of crunch with the equalization of the solo channel).
It has all the features you may desire thus no footswitch (you have to use midi, unless you can change the channel by pushing the buttons on the head with the fingers, no footswitch or channel switching in), the efx loop is present but I didn't like it. It has moreover powere and gain then you'll never need.

Sound Quality : 8
I used it with a '84 Fender Stratocaster, Rocktron Replifex and various (many) pedals. It's not made for noise/indie rock at all, it works good in metal contests if matched with the right cab, his main genre is fusion. It has a very Fenderian clean even if a bit darker (simil Mesa/Boogie) very good, the crunch channel is inspired to a Marshall JCM800 with more gain, you can play acid rock even to metal rhythmics with the gain control pushed all the way down to 10. The solo channel is perfect for soloing, very great mids and very much gain.

Reliability : 10
It's rugged steel built, i never used another amp for backup and never had problems. In somerecording situations it has been left active (on) for more than 10 hours without any kind of problem, a tank!

Marco Brunetti is an artisan, I've never dealt with company, I only sent them 2 mails and they answered me in 2 days time. I've experiences of other friends ofmine that have had Brunetti products and they have never had problems with the company!!

I've been playing it for 1,5 years but it wasn't the amp for me, so i sold it. Anyway I think I'll buy a Brunetti product, maybe a preamp, this sound is great for soloing and for strange distortions. Very very indicated for fuzion (I sold it to another guitarist who played Allan Holdsworth's songs, the sound was pretty equal, I'm not joking!!!)

The 059 Brunetti Head (120 W) has 3 Channels (Clean, Crunch, Lead) that can only be switched by Midi or manually. The crunch and lead-Chanel have a shift control that pushes the mid frequenties. With the tone reverse you can use the crunch-settings on the lead-channel and vice versa. In combination you can create in total nine different sounds out of this head, and all can be stored. It has also an effect loop that can be run parallel or serial. The coolest gimmick is (next to the standard line out) a so called emu-out that allows to play the head even over your hifi-sound-system. At the master section, there is a body and a presence switch to give a final push. The channels can be switched easily by midi, there is almost no noise. The head gives room to build in a 19'-effect (I've got a T.C. G-Major), so you have the full programm in one head. There is not one single thing that have to be added to that head, it has all the features that I can dream of.

I mostly play a Yamaha RGX 420S or Ibanez S-Series. I play this amp in a hard rock band, and I can tell you that this amp brings everything from the warmest clean over a bluesy-crunch up to a earth-trembling super high gain sound. It is very versatile and can be used for different styles. Even at high volumes, the clean section has no distortion. There are no words to discribe the 'pressure' that can be brought out of this amp!!! But it is not only an amp for rock or even metal, I can imagine that it could also be used for softer styles.

Reliability : No Opinion
I have bought the amp only 3 months ago, hade no problems since then.

Customer Support : No Opinion
The Shop, where I bought it, gave me all the support I needed. Haven't had contact to Brunetti yet or any problems so far.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for over 15 years in different styles (Metal, Pop, Rock). I had a Peavey Heritage, a Marshall MR-EL50/50 2x50W and a Hughes & Kettner Attax 100 before, but the Brunetti is far more better than all of 'em. I have checked also Marshall (uagggh!!!), Mesa Rec and a Peavey Triple X, but they were not as versatile as the Brunetti 059 is. The price is rather high, but it is a handmade power machine that can satisfy all needs a guitar player will ever have. Go and check it and try to tame the Italian Stallion. I'll buy it again and again (get aditional infos under www.brunetti.it)
