3 channels although the crunch and the lead have the same EQ. Effects loop serial or paralel in/out. Enough volume and really huge sound not only at the rehearsal but live too. Extra bright botton i never use. Extra cab out (16 omh).

Sound Quality : 9
I use it with a PRS with the HFS and BASS pickups which are heavier than the Dragon ones. Nice clean sound, warm and not too brilliant as the Fender classic amps. The crunch sound it's the worst of them, not warm at all and like a little broken, not compact.. maybe the pickups don't help although i have a HK Attax and i get with the same PRS guitar middle gain sounds much more beautiful than with the MC2. The lead channel it's more or less the stile of the red Triaxis channel, like the tipical hard rock fusion sound, i like it very much. The notes sound together when going up and down the strings soloing.

Reliability : No Opinion
I own it since 3 months ago so..
But use since then at the rehearsal and live when we play far away.

2 year warranty (in Spain). I just dealed with Brunetti by email and they were very nice helping me with some doubts, they even gave me their personal opinion about speakers (talking about the Dual Cab..).

Overall Rating : 8
I've been playing for.. i can't remember..
I bought this amp for far from home gigs, the gear i use near home is:
Mesa Boogie Triaxis - Rocktron Intellifex - Eventide Eclipse - Mesa Boogie 2:90 - 2x Marshall 1936 (with Classic Lead speakers).
I'm happy with the MC2 and the rest of the guys at the band say it sounds great, clean and very present.

brunetti mc2 combo
the amp was made in 2005.
i bought it in november 2005.
all tubes amplification, 1 jensen.
3 channels, but only two equalization, one for clean and one for drive.
two effects built in: reverb and edge effect.
i use all the feature of tihs amp, probably it will be wonderfull with a boost effect.
i use tihs amp for practise and for live gigs with my rock group.

Sound Quality : 9
now i use a fender strat u.s.a. with 3 single coil and a cort mgm with 2 hb.
i play principally rock, hard rock and blues rock.
i love warren haynes tones.....
the amp is very very versatile, not noisy att all.

-clean: one of the best clean channel (fender amps apart) i have heard in a combo. probably after a month of indecision i choose "brunetti mc2" instead of "mesa mark II" for the superiority of his clean channel.
play with this and you will fall in love with his attack and dynamic, if you put the volume to 9 it start to crunch, but the amps always sound like you play. only if you want to crunch it will crunch!

crunch: the versatility of this channel is wonderfull. you can play maybe all with this!!
if you put the drive at 3 it starts to blues, if you put the drive at 9 it rocks!!

lead: put the drive at 7-8, flat equalization, a good hb guitar (like my cort mgm or superior) and your sound will be a cream, really full, lovely feedback, really a lot of bass and medium tones!!
if you want a solo it will put you over your band, the force and intensity of your play with is amp are a booster themself!

reverb: great, but is better to use beetwen 2 or 3 because is very present, probably too much.

edge: i want to define tihs effect like a sort of little compressor and booster. it is better to say that i use it soo.

Reliability : No Opinion
no problem till now

My amp is purchased new in summer 2005.
It does everything i need. I play in a pop/rock coverband that will do some blues and funk things occasionally.
It has three channels, with independant tone controls for the clean and the crunch/lead channels. Channel switching is provided either by the included footswitch or via switching jacks on the back. There is an effects loop, which is switchable from series to parallel, but i don't use it.
There is also a function called edge, which gives you a presence and bass boost. I have it switched on all the time. Love it.
The low rating is for the lack of manual channel switching and not being able to switch reverb and edge without the footswitch.

Sound Quality : 10
I use it with either my fender strats, which have seymour duncan humbuckers in the bridge position, or my early eighties tokai breezysound telecaster copy, which is not modified. I only play clean with the singlecoil pickups. The humbuckers are used on the crunch and lead channels only.
This is a very versatile amp and it suits my needs perfectly. I need funky clean sounds, and it delivers. On the crunch channel, it delivers bluesy sounds on the neck singlecoils of my strats and a nice rock 'n roll drive on the bridge humbuckers. This channels is very touch responsive and dynamic. Almost two third of a gig, i'm playing this channel. And on the lead channel i have a creamy but powerfull high gain distotion sound. Also a very touch responsive channel, with tons of distotion. Only on high gain settings it gets al little noisy, but nothing to worry about, in my opinion. The distortion isn't very brutal, but will deliver when you want to detune your guitar or use a seven string. There's a huge amount of low end punch. Especially for a combo this size.

Reliability : No Opinion
Since i only own it for half a year, there is nothing to say about reliability. It looks tough enough, though.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I only visit the amplification forum on the brunetti web site on a regular basis. Mr. Marco Brunetti himselves awill answer your every question you might have about amplifiers and effects. It doesn't matter if they are not made by his company. I guess customer support is something the company really cares about, but i haven't dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 9
I'm playing for 17 plus years and this is the only amp i own. It just provides everything i need. Other gear is a collection of effects, of which i use a big muff fuzz pedal, a ibanez tube sreamer, jimi hendrix wah, MXR phase 90 and a danelectro cool cat chorus. I also use a brunetti XL mini cab with a celestion vintage 30 inside. Sounds very powerfull and has more punch than my marshall with 4X12 i used before. I traded my marshall for it and compared it to a mesa boogie F50. I went for the brunetti because of the bigger low end and it just sounded better to me. If it only had manual switching, it would be perfect.

My Bruny MC2 is the newest model with the stronger pedal and other tube holders.

As the last model it has all the main features, 3 channels, rev, bright switch on clean channel and an edge function.
the drawback is that there is only one pair bass, mid,hi for crunch and clean channel.

Sound Quality : 10
My main styles are some poprock(No doubt/brian addams), some nirvana covers, old hard rock (GnR,AC/DC) and newer and harder styles(RATM). This amp can creat ALL the sounds I need.

If you play with volume knob on 10 the clean channel gets a little distorted, but I my self like that sound.
You will find this amp very usable for gigs, without extra cabinet it will hold up to good amount of people.
With an extra cab hooked up you will trully believe me the Bruny's sound is enormous.

Reliability : 10
If it is needed I can trust my life to it. Now play it for about 6 months and it never ever broke down on me.

I live in the Netherlands and I am eighteen years old, and now playing for about 3-4 years, played about a dozen gigs in the past six months and planning for a lot more to come. So my knowledge is still very limited, but this amp just really feels right.

When I bought it I had already tried about 10 other amps(marshall jcm900/laney lc50 and others (peavey, randall,H&K) and this one just blew them all away.

It just sucks that there's no different eq for crunch and lead. But the supreme sound makes up for this.

This amp is very versatile for all types of music.I am in love with this amp.It has 3 channels en the "EDGE".The reverb is good.
It has all kind of features.

Sound Quality : 10
First I have to say it is not my amp but it's from my brother in law.
But you have to hear this amp.I'm in love with the sound. All 3 channels sounds great. If I have the money I will buy this amp.I have
owned a lot off amps such as: Mesa Boogie(50/50,studio preamp,studio22 combo) Koch(multitone, twintone, KV50 and TS212+Jenssen) Rivera TBR 1, Traynor and others.
And all of them I bought and still own because of the sound.I think
that this amp belong among the boutique amps.

Little combo, light weight, 60watt, 2,5 channels. Floorboard: clean dirty, lead and boost for every channel. reverb. effekt loop.

Sound Quality : 2
I am a professional and play many different styles.
Guitars: a lot of Strats, Teles, Les Paul, ES335, Jazz Box.
Amps: Marshall, Fender,
I used this amp for club gigs and only one time open air. The clean sound ist pretty much DI-sounding. The crunch channle is modern british. The lead channel ist mid boosted. That would be ok, but the amp do not cut through a band. Even at a club gig with lower volumes!

Reliability : 1
The amp broke down after 6 month! Repaired and sold!!
The builder wrote >handwired< on the frontpanel. Hahahaha. My tech check this amp out and said, only the cheapest parts were used in this amp. More like a computer not a classic handwired amp!

60W, 3 channels (Clean,Crunch,Lead), all tube amp. Independent tone controls for clean and crunch/lead. Independent gain setting for the distorted channels. Independent volume setting for all the channels. Channels switchable with the own pedalboard (included) or thru a MIDI Bay. Accutronics reverb. 1x12 Jensen cone in a closed back cabinet. It also has a feature called "EDGE", but I never used it because it increases the volume but changes the EQ in a way which I don't like so I can't tell ow useful it can be, but definitely I think this creature has all the features you can ask to a guitar amp.

Sound Quality : 7
I use mainly an old Ibanez 540S fitted with a DiMarzio Evolution in the bridge position and a Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck position. I also own an Ibanez RG 7 strings and a Strat with stock pickups.
I play a lot of stuff, I could say that I'm a Rock guitarist mainly.

This amp has plenty of versatility, it could handle quite every style.

The clean channel can vary from dark and warm to sparkling, I think is the most appreciable channel on this amp.

The crunch channel is something AC/DC fans could die for! Theres nothing more to say.

The lead channel is the reason why I'm selling this amp. Its tone is raw and good to rock, but it's too harsh at high gain levels, and definitely it's not the kind of tone I'd like to play with.

That's why I spared some money and moved to a TriAxis (which is definitely what I've always been searching for).

Plus this amp is extremely loud, which is a plus when gigging but is a heavy minus when practicing at home.... You can't get a decent sound out of it at bedroom levels, which is normal, the problem is that this amp doesn't have a master volume, so you can't set preamp and power amp levels separately. I had a good time putting in series to the FX loop a Quadraverb used as an EQ, so I could use the channel volumes as preamp volumes and the output volume on the Quadraverb as a master volume, butstill I couldn't get the tone I wanted (now I can tell that I was looking for a Recto sound).

I rated it 7 because it has a good sound though.

Reliability : 5
The amp itself seems as reliable as a tube amp can be. I've had it for 2 years and I only had a problem with a defective cap, but I can't blame Brunetti for a defective component and this problem has been solved immediately and under warranty, so no complaint here.

The rate of 5 is due to the pedalboard. It fell on the floor from a heigth of 50cm 3 times, and everytime it had a footswitch broken. Plus another couple of times the switches have broken by themselves. This pedalboard is definitely something you can't rely on, I ended up using a MIDI bay to switch the channels (which was a need when I bought the Quadraverb) when it failed during a gig.....Try to imagine for a second that you're playing live and your amp's pedalboard get stuck on clean channel...It happened to me and I don't want it to happen gain! I would expect much more sturdiness from an item that will be kicked all the time!!

Customer Support : 8
When I had the problem with the cap they've fixed it quickly and for free. And this goes also for the first time I had a switch broken (when it happened the second time I preferred doing the job myself and save time)
You can also have your amp modified if you have special requests (mine has been modified from Mr Brunetti itself, no it has a switch that can limit the overall power to 15W).
They've been surprisingly kind and helpful to me.

Overall Rating : 7
I've been playing for more than 10 years (I'm only 26), and I've had a few gears. This is one of the best I've had, it just wasn't what I've been looking for. Actually my setup consists of a TriAxis, a Quadraverb and a Mesa 20/20 power amp. Basic but efficient!
If it were stolen I'd feel sad for the guy who bought it because he's very happy with it (I sold him the MIDI bay as well)!!
I think this amp can compare to other most famus/most valued/most expensive gears if you like its tone.

I would say, if you are looking for a Mesa Rectifier sound save some money and buy a Rectifier, if you are looking for a god rock tone consider buying this amp. It's cheaper but its quality is not lesser than he competitors
