Bought a new amp a wekk ago (2003). 2 Channels with channel switching, the 2nd one from soft crunch to hard rock (not really high gain). a parallel/serail efx loop, no reverb. i'd liked a spring reverb. my styles are jazz and blues. the amp gives me a warm clean jazz tone or a searing blues and works very good with my ts 9. for 25 watts its relally loud. good for playing in a band, but you might need a mic in front to fight the drummer.

i use almost anything from gibson es175 and l-5 to strats, teles, prs. tried the amp with tele, strat and es-175. with the es-175 you can get a classical jazz tone, no problem. with tele and strat anything from jazz to heavy blues and rock. no metal.
the clean channel does not distort itself, but the el-84s can be overdriven, which is excllent for blues tones.

i am playing for over 30 ears, i own a mesa nomad, a fender vibraverb, a polytone, a vox digital thing. yes, i would buy it again. i love the 14 kg, the clar and the overdriven sound. i dislike the snaring in the amp, have to check it. i chose the amp because of its weight and bluesy sound. it lacks a spring reverb.

Two channels 25 Watt A-Class combo, one 12" Jensen speaker, three 12AX7A pre-amp tubes,two EL84 power tubes.
Front panel:ON-OFF and Stand by switches,Clean channel controls: vol.,bass, middle, treble;Overdrive channel: gain, bass, middle, treble, vol.
Rear panel:image(some kind of presence),efx mix for efx loop, ext speaker output.
I really miss:gain control on the clean channel, headphone output on the rear panel and a boost option for solos on the footswitch!
VERY LOUD for bedroom use, not loud enough for band-use: you'll need an extension cab or a mic in front of the speaker to let your friend understand what the hell you are playing.

This amp has a great tone for Blues! The clean channel is unbeliveable but it gets distorted very quickly. We are talking about a complete in -your -face sound, great for solos, too strong for chords if you don't use your guitar volume knob too calm down the situation.
The overdrive channel has a great tone and great dynamic too, strange to believe but it's less powerful than the clean one and you need to turn up the volume knob much more than on the clean channel to get the same output volume.
The speaker is top-quality,maybe a little bit too "light" to carry all the 25 watts of power.

You know you have to baby tube amps, anyway no troubles in one year of use.It seems very well built. If you take a look inside the chassis: top quality components.

Marco Brunetti is the most kind and gentle Factory-owner you can find on earth: less than 24 hours and you get answers to your e-mail questions. You can also order special features for your own custom-built amp.

I've been playing for 15 years, just amateur, not professional but I've owned several amps and guitars.
If this amp were stolen I would replace it with a Brunetti MC2 wich has great tone too but with is three channels and 50 watt is more versatile.
I like the sound and dynamic of Maranello, but I really need more features.Anyway this amp is better made and sounds better than the 90% of the famous brands you can find in the majority of guitar stores. This is made to play music, not noise.Great as a recording amp,not enough panel-and -footswitch options to gig around playng different styles.
I don' give it a 10 just because of the poor features.

25 watts class A all tube 1x12 combo. You can see all the technical specs on www.brunetti.it. 2 channels (clean+drive) with separate eq, vol and gain for the drive. It has a standby switch. On the back it has an fx loop with mixing knob, 16 ohm speaker out and a presence knob. No reverb, no contour control (that's what i really miss), no headphone/direct out. You get all you need but really nothing more.

My gear: ibanez starfield(with hotrails- really high gain)->morley wah->marshall jackhammer(for crunch)->amp(with ibanez delay in the fx loop). Well, at first let's try to be critical: this amp has a great distortion(one of the best i have ever heard, and i'm not a metal-head), but you'll get ONLY a tone, i. e. a dark and defined sound (mesa-like). You can listen it on "linea 77" italian band records. Stompbox will help... Then, the clean channel with the volume over 5 gets heavily distorted, but this is normal for a low power tube amp. i'll give it a 8 because i really love the tone.

before giving a rate i'd like to test it in a reharsal... i'm worried about its effective loudness... for home/recording i'll give it a 8. i'll post something after some deeper tests...
