3 canali indipendenti piu' lead shine derivato dal canale lead.
no loop per effetti
In effetti molto semplice e funzionale.

Ottimo

Versatility is the major point: i mean, you can easily get a clean sound and switch to a dirty one with easy, passing thorough a warm crunch in between. There are three channels with separated equalization. You can really get every sound you've in your mind.
Very easy to operate. Just turn the knobs! Mine is mark I, so it has no midi function. But i don't need it, 'cause i switch the channels by pedals.

Sound Quality : 10
Clean Channel: Very clean and if you increase gain you can obtain something like a wonderful crunch.

Crunch Channel: It takes a long range of sounds, from blues to hard rock, by playing with gain.

Lead Channel: very hard. i like it, anyway i don't use often, 'cause it doesn't fits my style. i play mostly blues/rock.

Reliability : 10
Never had a problem with it.

Customer Support : 10
the best! if you write a mail to brunetty customer service, mr brunetti in person will reply to you!

If it were stolen or lost, i surely would buy it again! i love everything about it. I play since 17 years and tried it all,but this preamp suites my taste to the top. You can't go wrong with it.
I think Brunetti doesn't produce more the mille, so you can just buy it used.

The preamp was made in the late '90 and it's the most versatile preamp i have ever had. It has 3 channels plus a derivative fourth channel (fat lead). It has channel switching by footswitch or pedals or midi (just the second series). On the clean and crunch channels there are also two switcwes for a brighter sound (usefull if you use a gibson les paul). It is completely tube with independent equalization and gain and volume in each channel.

Sound Quality : 10
This preamp can make really any kind of sound you could imagine. From clean jazz to distorted heavy metal. the clean channel can be also saturated with the gain control, producing a very nice little crunch sound. the crunch channell is very versatile; you can have different kind of sound from it. from jimi hendrix/stevie ray vaughan to angus young. i use this preamp with single coils guitars and humbacking guitars and they are all good. The unit isn't noisy at all, even at high volumes.

Reliability : 10
the pre hasn't ever broken down. it is very sturdy. nothing to complaint

Customer Support : 10
the brunetti company is very friendly. you can find authorized service center in italy. Marco Brunetti directly answer to your questions in the brunetti forum home page.

my mille was made in mid '90 and it's the Mk.I version, the one without midi. All tube unit, this pre is very versatile for any music style you play, due to its three channels with independent equalization. you can easily switch between the 3 channels using pedals switch or via midi (in the Mk.II vers.). it is also present an effects loop. the clean and the overdrive channels have two bright switches (very usefull in case you play different kind of guitars).

Sound Quality : 10
This pre can make any kind of sounds you can imagine. i play blues/rock and the overdive channel is perfect for this, but you could even use it for heavy metal, due to its lead (double)channel. the clean channel is very good sounding, and if you add very much gain, it produces a very warm tube natural soft overdrive sound. It's not noisy at all (well if you set the gain of the 3 channel to max, it is, but that's normal...)

Reliability : 10
very solid metal unit. never had problems with it.

Customer Support : 10
mister brunetti will personally reply to your e-mail in the case you need some assistance!

i play since 18 years, covering blues and rock music. i have other good amps, all tube (fender and vox) and i think the brunetti is more versatile. talkin' about clean tube sound, the fender and the vox are top class, but for overdrive the brunetti is very very good. i could compare the brunetti mille to an old soldano sp77 pre unit i played years ago...they have a very similar sound...i don't know if they still produce the mille, but it was very expensive at the time i bought it (used). so, if you find it used, just take it at home.you will be very happy with it.

I bought it used, but it looks like new. A good and beautyfull blue cassis in alluminium I think, and resistent pratice and solide knobs.
I play rock, hard rock, blues, some pop and some Heavy metal, and I think it's so versatile, it has a warm valve tone, a fender like clean(I have a fender bj and had an hot rod deluxe too and I know this),crunch and lead have indipendent controls of middle trieble bass and gain, every kind of tone is possible, but not nu metal tones, but I don't need this.Very pratice to control with a midi switch (I have a digitech c7,small and simple).I use this in open stages , sometimes in pubs (but in pubs I often use a fender blues junior with some pedal, it is small and has one of the best sounds for small combos).

Sound Quality : 10
Ok here we go.. I must say that I use it with a mesa 20 20 final poweramp and a lexicon px 200. When I tried it after buyng I played it with a silver bullet, and I think with the mesa the sound has more attac and is "bigger".. I heard this. I like so much the tones of this pre, The sounds are one of the best I heard. ok, it has three channels and every channel has gain trieble middle bass and volume control... all indipendent!
-clean channel is so bright, it has a bright swich too to have a more brilliant sound. Great clean channel, and so versatile , with gain on 4 pm you obtain a sound a little bit crounchy.. so, not only a fender clean.. more.
-crunch: this is the best channel, it has a very warm tone and controls are so versatile. I have a mesa v-twin too, and I prefer the tone of this brunetti, more open sound and changing eq I can di ALL sounds I need for rock, hard rock and some power metal, blues too.joking with gain you go from mellow sweet crunch ,overdrive tone to a warm distortion , I like also lead tone of this 2nd channel. It has a bright swich like 1th channel.
-Lead. I find it so good, full of harmonics, not warm like crunch??I don't know, I like this and with controls you can really have a lot of tones. with a shine control you can open more the sound, I find it very pratice , with those three channels I don't need other overdrive pedals to boost the sound, ( and I have three od pedals, ts9, mxr wylde and vox big ben), maybe I can use those only to have other sounds or some hi.gain.....so so high!!), but I think The three channels of this pre are enough!
I play ozzy black sabbath, van halen, acdc, manowar, iron maiden, hendrix, gary moore, dire strait, uriah heep, .... I'm satisfied. For effects ( delay chorus phase reverb) I have some pedal and a lexi rack midi.I use two guitars, a versatile yamaha pacifica 812w with a seymour dun. JB and two di marzio fast track (great guitar!and not expensive.. I had a fender too and I prefer this one) and a gibson u.s.a. sg special.. a wonderfull guitar.

Reliability : No Opinion
I have it since a mounth, I don't have problems.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I don't have problems.. I m italian and here in Italy in Modena works marco brunetti.I know he makes a good assistance service hand every person can contact him in his website for problems or to make questions. It, s great.
I bought it by a private, not warranty.

Overall Rating : 10
I started play 13 years ago. I play regular every week in pubs and open stages since 6 years.
If it were stolen I cry...and I hope to find another... it's out of production.
When I chosed it I tryed a carvin x-quad, a marshall jmp1 and a mesa studio. Carvis was great!!! It has a different voice, but I prefer the mille, that is also more pratice to use. Jmp1...shit..... mesa is good but not versatile like this and I have a mesa v-twin.. I don't need another mesa.

3 channels.all tube (6 valves).Midi. You have everything you need.

Sound Quality : 10
The best i found since ever! You can have many different kind of sounds from it. The 3 channels have independent EQ, so it's very easy to do it. The clean channel is similat to the fender ones; the overdrive channel is superb. The lead channel is good, but not the top for me.It's not noisy at all.

Reliability : 10
Never had a problem with it.

They always reply to your e-mail. incredible!

I have been playing for 18 years. I have several guitars; Soloists, Strat's,Gibson SG, Gretsch, Rickenbacker. They all sound great. If you can't swing the $3,000.00 for a Soldano Head or Combo, you will not be disapointed in this product.

i bought this preamp new, a month ago, it is a simple 4 channel preamp six tubes and all tone there could have been an fx loop but simplicity rules!!! all the channels offer real tone and that's what it is about.

Sound Quality : 10
i do play a lot of styles and i can tell that it isn't a problem to do that with the mille and silver bullit it's a perfect match as it should be, but don't aspect that metal thing and that is oke cause we're talking about tone.all my guitars sound very good throug this set and keep there own character

Reliability : No Opinion
no comment caus I really do not know. it's all handmade ore hand assembled and only the best of components were used so we'll see

It has 3 indipendent channels: clean, crunch and lead (who has a derivated channel "shine"). Each channel has Gain, Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble controls. Clean channel and Crunch channel have a bright selector. Mine was the midi version. It has 2 inputs, one normal input and one -20db AUX input. Equipped with six 12AX7 tubes. It takes 2 rack units. I think you can not ask more than this, only a good reverb (this is the reason why i don't give 10).

Sound Quality : 9
Clean Channel: like a Fender amp. It's very clean, if you increase gain you can obtain something like a wonderful crunch.

Crunch Channel: the best crunch i ever heard. It takes a long range of sounds, from blues to hard rock, by playing with gain.

Lead Channel: well..it sounds good, but i don't like it. In my opinion it's cold, giving me not a good feeling when playing palm mute or metal riffs, or solos. but it's not an hi-gain pre-amp..

I use a Gibson SG standard, and Brunetti Silver Bullet (60w+60w stereo) as poweramp. I played a lot of kind of music, but now i play only nu-metal, so i sold it (and silver bullet) to buy an hi-gain head (i think vht hundred/cl)..
I think that the best combination is with brunetti silver bullet poweramp.

Reliability : 9
The pre-amp always sounds at the top of his performance, never give a problem.

Customer Support : 8
Marco Brunetti always answers at all questions made by mail, you have to wait max one day to receive answers. I think you can never find a customer service better than Brunetti.

Overall Rating : 8
Well, if you want a very versatile and good pre-amp without selling your wife choose brunetti mille. But now i decide to sell my mother (mmm.. i like my wife!!!) and buy mesa or vht head.. :)

Vermoedelijk gebouwd eind 2002.

Geen klachten to dusver.

Customer Support : 9

Overall Rating : 9
Speel sinds mijn twaalfde gitaar, vanaf mijn zestiende electrisch.

This unit is very versatile: i mean, you can easily pass from a clean sound to a dirty one with just few touches of the knobs. There are three channels with separated equalization for each one, so you can imagine how easy is to find that special sound that you're looking for. There is also a "derivated" channel in the lead one, that boost the gain. You can really got every sound you've in your mind. The channel swithcing is by midi, this is very good. each channel also has a switch to bright the sound: this feature is specialy good if you use a Gibson Les Paul with it, because it makes really scream it. This is a real tube Preamp.

Sound Quality : 10
I play since 15 years, and now i'm using an american standard Fender Stratocaster with a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails pickup in the bridge position; a Gibson Les Paul studio and an Epiphone Casino. The Stratocaster is simply fantastic with this preamp; the same is for the Gibson. The Casino, as a semiacoustic guitar it sounds better with my Vox AC15, but if you're looking for some new sound, the Brunetti could really deliver it.
My music style is basically Rock-Blues, and the Brunetti is really good to give this kind of sound, but i also play other kind of music, and i can say that it can really suite any music style. A good thing is that this unit isn't noisy and you don't need an external noisegate processor. But this thing also depends by which kind of PA are you using with it. I'm using a Marshall 9200 tube PA, and this seems perfect with the Brunetti 1000.

Reliability : 10
Until now i didn't had problems with this unit, and i don't use a backup on a gig.

Customer Support : 10
The customer support from Brunetti www.brunetti.it is really good. It's like to have a family that is always ready to help you!

Overall Rating : 10
If it were stolen or lost, i surely would buy it again! i love everything about it. i also had a Marshall jmp1 preamp, but the brunetti 1000 is much much better for many reasons (better sounds, better hardware and construction).

A really good 3 channel all-tube (6 12ax7) preamp, with midi switching; each channel has separate gain, volume, bass, middle, treble controls and a bright switch. I use it with a Brunetti Silver Bullet stereo power amp (2X60 Watts). I also have a Mesa Single Rectifier Solo Head (I use a splitting machine), and this has more attck than any system preamp+power amp.

Sound Quality : 9
For live performers i often need many and very differents sounds, from rockabilly clean to hard rock gained. It is really versatile for each one of my needs!! My guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Standard and when I use neck pick up and a good overdrive, well I reach a very similar Petrucci's sound.

Reliability : No Opinion
I use it really carefully, it is not so cheap...

Customer Support : 8
I send several e-mails for help needed about some configuration and cable connectings, and Marco Brunetti himself always gave him precious suggestions, quickly and politely.

Overall Rating : 8
I certainly would buy it again if stolen. But probably used, it is rather expensive as a preamp...
