As far as features against this has advantages over standard 4x12 4x10 and 2x12 designs as you can do all 2x10 & 2x12 at the same time, or each config as a 2x?

Features has to be high for this type of product

Light and compact too my other 4x12 is near twice this weight and this is 75% the size

Sound Quality : 10
I normally run a H&K Triamp 4x12 with Greenbacks and am not left wanting from this cab.

This sounds like a guitarist has designed it with rich deep tone and cut thru as a priority.
V Nice.

The speakers are great the cab design -flawless overall sound is the best I have heard

Reliability : No Opinion
Built like a tank. Wired better than my house with hardware from the very top drawer. Even the screws are top class -no burrs when you open and close the cab..

As for reliability I guess time will tell

Customer Support : No Opinion
No idea

For my purposes - like my guitar to sound incredible, not built like hulk hogan and want to get the best out of my Budda SD80II this is not the only option, but def the best. My other 4x12 is lovely too, but I am considering getting rid of the H&K cab -who needs two?

Made in mid 2002 in the standard Budda color scheme. Contains two Eminence 10" and two Budda special Phat 12" speakers, which I think are designed to be reminiscient of Celestion Vintage 30's creaminess coupled with a little more cleanness and punch to them. The 10" are both in the top half of the box, which is open-backed. The 12" are both in the bottom half and are sealed. There are two input jacks on the back of the sealed bottom portion. Plugging into the left jack only engages all four speakers at 8 ohms. Plugging into the the right jack only engages the two 10" speakers at 16 ohms. Plugging two separate cables into both inputs allows one sound source to come through the sealed 12's and the other source to come though the open 10's, both at 16 ohms. To get the two 12's only at 16 oms, plug into the left jack from your amp source, and disable the 10's by placing a plug (or speaker cable) into the right jack. I'm not sure of the exact power handling rating, as I have some lower powered stuff I'm pushing through this box, so that was not an issue with me. I called Scot to find out, and he said it could easily handle a 100 watt head in case I ever went that route in the future. This has two side handles and weighs in at 71 pounds, so it isn't too cumbersome to lug around. It is made from finger-jointed pine.

I am using a recent Les Paul with its stock 490R and 498T humbuckers. Knowing what speakers are in there and which are open and sealed doesn't leave too much in the way of tonal surprises. But those options are very versatile and do leave much room for experimentation with your different heads, combos, and tube compliments. I am currently running my two combos (Budda Twinmaster and Fender Hot Rod Deluxe) through it without using the either combo's speakers. The Twinmaster is being pumped through the 12's for crunch and lead sounds, while the Deluxe (clean channel only) is going through the 10's for the sparkly, chimey stuff. This cab sounds first rate for what I need it for. However, I have only had this cabinet for about two weeks. I still need to experiment with and tweak the controls on my pedals and amps to get the optimum sounds out of this cab, since it is not the same as just using the combos's speakers.

Reliability : 10
Since it is made by Budda, I know it is very reliable. I have had a Twinmaster 2x12 combo for five years and a Phatman overdrive pedal for two years, and have had no problems with either.

Budda is a great company to deal with. Scot and Jeff have always promptly and realistically answered all the questions (both email and phone)I have thrown at them over the last five years. I've even visited Budda East once, and Jeff took the time to demo me some products and explain things to me. Scot has promptly sent me things such as replacement tubes and t-shirts I've ordered in a timely fashion.

I got this as a blemished product, hence the slightly lower price than its listed one. However, I have had my eyes on this for a while for the versatility it provides. I would have bought it at its regular price eventually. This cabinet seems like a great product for both recording and live playing. I've purchased this with both situations in mind. It would definitely get replaced if stolen.
