Budda Twinmaster Plus 30 Head

A RAREST OF THE RARE, 30 WATT TWINMASTER, Rare limited production(50 or less) true point to point wired unlike the String Masters and Superdrives that have PCboard on the rear panel functions for cab switching FX loop, etc, despite the tag board wiring to the front of chassis(the newer models are all PCboard, BUT IF BUDDA MAKES IT, IT IS ALL GOING TO SOUND GOOD AND PERFORM SUPERBLY!!) DID I MENTION THE TWINMASTER PLUS' ARE RARE??? Same controls as the Twinmaster18 but 30 watts with 4 EL84's, 2 12AX7's and one huge 5u4GB rectifier tube for killer sag!! Vol, Tone, Bass, PLUS A KILLER BUILT-IN ATTENUATOR!!! 2 speaker outs with 3 position ohms selector, slave out with adjustable level control, effects loop, single channel with high/low inputs. I need the power and volume advantages these 30 watt Class AB heads have over the 18 watters. The 18's are loud, but the 30's are louder, and the attenuators facillitate killer tone at all volumes and when used at higher vols, BEWARE!! I'm in heaven. If you like any band that uses Vox/Fender amps, you'll love these...gets that mod Killers, Frantz Ferdinand, Interpol, Tom Petty, Joe Perry, Louie the 14th, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, John Cougar, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley sort of tone...it's all here(not that they all know about oR use these HEADS). I think the thing is covered in real leather. It smells/looks like an Armani leather coat

I'm getting Voxy and Plexi tones with my single coil guitars, ie, Tele, Strat, Mine is extremely quiet and sounds better than any Vox RI, Matchless Chief, TopHat, or Marshall I have ever owned (not that I've owned alot of them, but I've owned my share). It does the cleaning-up with the volume roll back thing but I love it clean or dirty. It loves my pedals. It gets hotter than a MoFo cause Budda hits the power section with insane DC voltages to create their complex tones. It does R&B, Country, Classic and Alt Rock, Reggae, Blues, all the styles I get paid to play.

Early handwired P2P circuitry makes these or for that matter the newer PCBoard Buddas dependable, although I have read some sob stories on this board concerning some Budda amps. Budda's Q.C. seems spot on. You're always going to hear the exception to the rule on these boards, however, if I get less than acceptable service from them, I'll post an ammended update FOR SURE!!!

i BOUGHT A POWER SUPPLY FROM THEM FOR A PHATMAN PEDAL, AND SCOT WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE UNIT WAS A BIT PRICEY THOUGH. CAN YOU SAY BOUTIQUE AMP BUILDERS? HEY, THEY HAVE TO MAKE A BUCK. OUCH!!!!

I've been playing for over 30 years, and gear comes and goes until your tastes change, or you need to liquidate. WTF it's all relative. I have been privaledged to own and learn about many amazing and crap amps over the years. I'm glad that my tastes and expectations are progressing because that means I get higher quality gear.
