I had this amp built in sept/oct 2003. It is a 30 watt 2-12 combo. It is powered W/ 2 6l6's. It's equipped w/ 1 celestion greenback and 1 celestion g12h30(british). It is covered in orange and cream tolex with 60's style marshall basketweave grillcloth and a backlit burriss logo. Its single channel w/ 2 inputs, topcut, master v.,bass, mid, treb, and volume knobs. This the ROCK amp it goes from blackface clean to a nice chunky british growl... not for little boys and thier oversaturated rap rock.

Sound Quality : 10
I play rick 620, lp standard, rick 360. This amp is perfect for the rock(anything but the supersaturated.). The amp is very very quiet. If used it in studio, practice, and it works great in the small to midsize venues ive played. Once again from clean to a nice growl this amp fits the bill. Think ac30 w/ a bit more balls.

Reliability : 10
Built like a tank. Lots o" practice and 2 to 4 gigs a month. I dont have to have a back up. Bob Burriss builds to last.

Customer Support : 10
I walked in to Bobs shop told him the sound i wanted, we talked for a couple of hours and put a plan together. As this amp is completely custom Bob and I discussed the process twice weekly during the 6 week build time. When i picked the sucker up I had exactly what i was looking for. See burrisamps.com for warranty info. Having met Bob im not too worried about the specifics he takes great care of his customers.

Overall Rating : 10
Ive played for 15 years. Ive owned marshall, boogie, and fender. All nice enough amps but not nearly on par with the Burriss. If it were lost or stolen 1st call police then insurance guy then Bob Burriss to build a replacement. Then i would crawl in a hole and cry like a little girl. I looked at carr and dr.Z. Similar cost not nearly as "custom". Nice amps but the Burriss wins.
