Originally this is the Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue. Normal and Vibrato channel, built in spring reverb and vibrato. A typical blackface configuration.
An added feature by CMW Amps is a master volume on the backside of the amp. It works great, now I can crank my amp at any volume level without losing any tone. Ideal for rehearsal and recordings. On stage the master volume is turned up to '10' and at this position the master volume is completely bypassed. Since the volume pot is on the backside of the amp there is nog cosmetic damage to the amp.

From the factory this reissue sounds not bad, especially for its pricetag. But it can do better.
CMW Amps replaced all the transformers of the amp by big ass and big quality transformers from mercury magnets. He re-biased the amp (it's kinda cold from the factory) and did some simple mods to the circuitry (I do not know exactly what). I myself replaced the original speaker for a Celestion G12H 'Heritage'.
Now the amp sounds great, It has more sustain and a more pleasant tone. Less harsh highs and a tight bottom (I like bottoms tight). Very nice and very usable.
I used the amp in small clubs as well as on big stages of big clubs and festivals. On the bigger stages I sometimes use an extention cabinet with two original Celestion G12H's and with this combination the 22 watts are more than sufficient for screaming and singing over the crowd. Even with my low-output tele the amp keeps on singing. I still have to try the amp with a good humbucker guitar, I am very curious what that combination is like.
Bottomline is that this amp is as close to a full handwired custom build blackface Deluxe Reverb as possible. Good enough for me ;-)
Reliability
:
No Opinion
It's a Fender and modern Fenders have ever broken up on me. Last time the twin reverb of my bandmate caught fire during the show and it is still working.
I have full confidence in the mods CMW did on my amps to hold on for a long long time. Too early however to say a lot about this subject.

No experience with Fender, but CMW Amps is awesome. He takes a lot of time and effort to get you the amp you are looking for. And when it turned out my amp would take a little bit longer I got his gorgeous handwired Deluxe Reverb instead for the time being. This amp is twice worth the money of my own amp and I could use it as much and long as I wanted.
