Original this was a Bassman 100 silverface head form 1976 that is now turned into the Orangeman 50. Chris from CMW amps redesigned the whole amp to sound like a vintage Orange and a little magic of his own what I like to call the CMW sound.
It has one channel, gain, treble, bass, bite, master control and a 5 stage bass boost switch . When turning the gain up this Orangeman is a really mean machine. And the 5 stage bass boost is a really cool feature, which gives you total control of your sound.

I play the head through a matching bassman 100 cabinet. The guitars I play are a 1979 Hagstrom Swede and a 1979 Ibanez Les Paul. The music I play is alternative pop/rock and demands very versatile sounds. This is where the Orangeman delivers. Goes from hard-rock to jazz instantly. The thing I like about it so much is the deep rich tone it gives that just makes you wanna play. Also that it really reacts to your playing. If you want to rock it rocks, if you want to get subtle it sounds subtle. It's all in your fingers!

It's been on the road and in the rehearsel space for about one and a half years now and I never had any problems with it. It's really good quality. This my main and only amp and it never let me down.

Chris of CMW amps is one of the nicest people I know. You always feel welcome when you come around at his shop. There you can try his newest creations and chat about amps and stuff. And what makes Chris so great is that he really takes time for you as the client and really listen what you want.
