I think the amps made in China although I'm not totally sure.
It's a good practice amp but not versitile enough for loud metal playing but it is good for practising.
Theres 2 channels clean and distorted, a headphone jack and a guitar jack which can also be plugged into a pedal.
The features are pretty simple just BASS, MIDDLE and TREBLE knobs and REVERB.
I am starting to play gigs now and it is impossible to use this because the 20 Watts power is nowhere near enough so i need to rely on other amps. I have played other lower wattage amps which have much more power than this.

Sound Quality : 5
I am using a PRS Santana SE II with 2 humbucker pickups. The sound quality is OK but it is not very versitile there is clean and distortion and thats about it. The tones can be set but they do not make huge differences.
The clean channel does get slightly distorted at high volumes which is annoyin when you need it cranked up full for band practices etc.
The distortion is quite good but I use a FX pedal for better quality distortion.

Reliability : 9
The amp is like a brick it is strong and I have never had mine broken and I've had it for over a year. I would depend on this as it is very reliable and is very unlikely to breakdown.

It is a good practice amp for those not wanting to do gigs etc. It struggles to have enough power for loud practices but may be alrite for some bands.
I may have rated this quite low due to the fact I have recent;y bought a new Line 6 amp whic is 75W but I would not recommend this to people wanting to do gigs.

My kickstart was made in 2005 and it is versatile enough for the music style that I play (Rock, R & B, Pop).
It has two switchable channels (clean and overdrive), and controls for Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass and Reverb. It also has Headphone's output and Footswitch. The speaker is an 8",20W,4Ohms.
I usually use this combo at home and has power enough for me (20 watts).

Sound Quality : 6
I play a Telecaster copy and in both pickups has a good sound on the clean channel at all volumes. The overdrive channel goes from a subtle overdrive with much highs to a hard distortion.
The equalizer control allows set a good enough sound.
The worst thing in this combo is adjust problems on the rear cover and on some internal parts that cause vibration noises when bass notes sound loud. But for the money that I paid I am happy with this combo.
The reverb is too subtle (almost imperceptible)

Reliability : 10
It look strong and since I purchase it (August 2005) I've had no problems with it. I think I would use it on a gig.

The data that appears on the Calrsbro website is almost everything wrong (The real data is: 340mm x 350mm x 190mm , 7Kg and it has not Fx loop).
But when I requested any information always answer well and nicely.
The warranty on all European Union is two years for new products.

Overall Rating : 6
I've been playing during five months with no pedals or any other external elements, and my overall opinion is that this combo is good enough for home practice or little gigs, and for the money I paid I'll buy another like this.

This is a 25 W 1x8 solid state amp. It has one guitar input, a footswitch input (footswitch not included) and a headphone output. It has two channels (clean/drive). I use it at home for practising, so the power is alright, although I think it could be louder. It was manufactured in China. It has a gain, volume, bass, middle, treble and reverb control.

Sound Quality : 7
This combo is generally a basic one, so don't expect any miracles. The clean channel works ok, no problems with that. The overdrive is surprisingly versatile. I can get most of the 'basic' sounds out of this combo. Even with high gain the sound is quite musical (unlike Marshall or Fender (in this category) which turn the sound into a mixture of buzzing and wheezing) and nice. It is a cheap amp, though, so the sound is somewhat mediocre and undistinctive. The reverb effect is almost unrecognizable (you can hear it's there - the sustain is longer and solos sound a little better with it, but it isn't a typical reverb really). But for the price the sound is more than good.

Reliability : 10
No problems so far

Haven't tried

This isn't the kind of thing you would never want to sell, because its sound is easily replacable. But it's a great value for money so I'd recommend it to beginners with limited resources.
