Acoustic Combo with two independant channels. Spring Reverb (Huge)Two Parametric equaliser controls,Gain, Bass, Treble, Reverb on Channel one, Hi/Lo input Gain ,Bass, Treble and Reverb on Channel two. Master Volume and Master Reverb. Footswitch(Reverb),DI, Effects Loop,Another line-out Twin Speaker Sockets and Headphones. This is a versatile and loud amp.Its meant for acoustic guitar and microphones but is capable of much, much more. Electric guitars sound great through it. It has a Celestion 15 inch speaker that handles Bass guitars very nicely indeed and with that parametric EQ........what more could you want? This is a Super-Amp! Well, it would look better in Black Tolex rather than DS Brown vinyl but this is a small gripe. I've gigged this amp with both my telecaster and harp going through it simultaneously and its good - very good in fact. I use the Parametric Eq to cancel feedback from the harp which are notoriously susceptable to FB. A couple of effects pedals completes the picture.

It is a totally transparent amp and here it excells - you can crank the gain but if you want distortion/overdrive it sounds better using effects pedals - it will sound how ever you want it to sound give it the right stomp box. The spring reverb tank must be huge as the effect is almost limitless and puts others to shame.

Heavy and built like a tank. If it does ever break down I feel confident that Carlsbro will be able to deal with it - see "customer support." I always have a back-up but that's only sensible isn't it? No problems so far.

My amp was made on 2nd July 1991 according to Carlsbro who are the most helpful company I have ever dealt with - unlike some others......... When I emailed them about this amp, which I bought secondhand, they told me all about it (100 watts, date of manufacture and price new - # 383.29) They also sent me an instruction book free of charge - they offered; I didn't have to ask! They are friendly, helpful and seem to really care about their products - in this day and age!

I love it - you may have guessed. No, I don't work for the company.
