Late 90's Mfg.Great construction and hardware Lighter in weight but not to the point of losing the density nessessary to hold the bottom end freqs. together. No rattles (even with the metal gridwork and thats odd)
Stereo feature is nice and the crossover is correct.

Holy shit, RANGE? YES!!! holds the low freqs. with my Roland GP-8 chorus setting in clean mode and DELIVERS the clear mids and highs. Crank up the distortion and it just CRUSHES. The THUMP is there but it's not lacking the round fullness you realy want for the Y&T Meniketti sound that I like to work with, and the Priest CHUGG I need is there as well. Their Brittish series elements are JUST what the doctor ordered for fullness and effective power usage.

I've used a few cabs in 19 years + and I think these have all the plusses, without all the negs. I highlu reccomend these for the player who wants a manageable 4-12 and if your in a position where you can use a stereo setup they are even more effective. I highly reccomend these boys.

what is this cab made of?> cause when i first saw it i was like, "eh, looks kinda shitty with that white piping around then edge." put my gawd! when i played this.. oh christ.. it GAVE ME A HARD ON!!!! the sound out of those GT12 is sooo great.. it handles bass tones very well without that weird "Fart" sound that comes out of shitty Marshall cabinets... the best cabinets i have ever played where: Mesa Boogie Recto's, Carvin 4x12 and these guitar cabinets made special by some guy i know.. his company is called "Rude Dog" and they are out of Los Angeles. The guy's name is Rudy so give him a jingle and tell him alex told you about it.. but back to this carvin.. a 10.. a fucken 10

this cab kicks ass! i play both melodically clean and melodicly low distorted riffs with my seven string(tuned to b)and this cab handles them perfectly! i have never seen anything like it! The Carvin 412t is an awesome cab for those who enjoy awesome sound quality. whether you play clean, classic rock, or metal, this cab will be your best bet! not only is this cab high quality, but its price is affordable. i payed $280 for this cab USED at a local guitar shop. i use it mostly in the basement where me and my friends jam and it sounds great.

i use a Rogue 7-string and a Jackson flying v. the rogue i bought for cheap at a guitar shop and the jackson was brand new and both sound EXTREMELY good on the Carvin 412T. I play mostly any style of music but mostly metal and hard rock, both with distortion and clean. i use the BOSS MT-2 for distortion and a Zoom effects processor ant the Carvin 412T handles it perfectly. it sounds crystal clear no matter what the circumstances are.

ive been playing for 3 years. (dont judge by that i am a very fast learner) if it were stolen id probably buy the same thing. it is the most dependable thing i own. i compared it to Marshal and Crate cabs and this one i believe is the better choice.

Bought this cabinet NEW with the MTS-3200 100W Head.
It is a very versitile cab and keeps up with anything I can throw at it, from clean crisp tones to heavy rock crushing lows from my 7-String guitar (tuned to low A)
Via a switch you are able to switch the impedance loads.

I play different styles of music and the cab doesnt seem to care. Whether its soft rock, punk, metal or anything else, it keeps up without a hitch. The 4 100W Britich Series speakers loaded within the cab are very impressive and I consider them to be as good as Celestion 75 watters or even as good as Mesa cabs. Since I play a 7 String tuned to low-A some of the time...I used to run into cabs that "farted" when playing the ultra low notes but this amp handels without a problem.
The only time I ever got to see the speakers actually move was when I ran my bass thru the amp and had it turned up 100% at which time I saw the cones vibrate slightly.
