I brought this amp over 15 years ago and only had to repair it once in that time.. It powers my SVT bottom with plenty of balls.. Its a great amp.. The venues I play vary in sizes and it fits my needs well...

I use it with my two main basses Rickenbacker 4003 and a Fender P/J bass From trebley punch to deep growl.. it there for me.. I never had the amp volume over 3 and its clean sounding with very little to nil distortion

300 watt bass head. Great amp for beginers. This amp is a workhorse, it has two speaker outputs on the back, 1 xlr line out, Bi-amp capibitities. It has a built-in compressor, Deep and bright selector as well as hi/lo inputs.5-band graphic equalizer as well as a 3-band nob equalizer.

This amp is much quieter than stated. It's 300 Watts sound more like 90. The distorion is very brutal for this amp at high eq settings. And it may sound kinda cool with it but its not something you want happening. This amp does not at all suit my music style, punk, but it may be nice for slower types of music.

Reliability is allrihgt.. however if you have a huge gig that you need everything to work just to be sure rent an amp.. cause this thing may break. But usually it stays just as always in working condition.

The customer support personell are nice, although their repair fee is outrageous. They charge a flat 110 dollar fee for repairs. Which is just about half of what i got the amp for.

If youre starting out ,and this is your first amp, go for it, but if you need this to gig its too much a risk and waste of your time. Comparing it to peavey froducts of the same wattage it is much worse. I would much rather spend an extra hundred bucks for something i can really depend on and not worry that it will stop working.
