Features : No Opinion
It's a speaker
8 ohm and 50 watt.
made in 1979

Sound Quality : 10
Great speaker, i use it for my Fender Blues DeLuxe (USA) and it's it opens up the amp. i love the sound of it.The low E sounds like a full tone now and it didnt lose the Fender spark. The overdrive channel is now a very good and warm overdrive. Never used it with my old stock eminence speaker (the sound was very thin)

Reliability : 10
It's a old one (1979) and i think it will survive me.

I got a carvin Cab and it cale with the g12-50s I guess there are regular 12-50s that celestions makes too but these g12s are fantastic. the low end they can handle is incredible.

Sound Quality : 10
I play down to A and recently have been interested in dropped B. Upon scouting around I notice slipknot uses carvin cabs at B so i don;t think i'll have any problems with these speakers.

Reliability : 9
I have had them for about 5 years and have been pushing them to the limit since i bought it used off someone else. I'll buy the same ones if i can find them once the dry rot on these sets in.

Price Paid: US $150 for 4x12 cab used

I have a 4x12 homemade cab with 4 G12-50 speakers in it. I went to read reveiews, and saw none so I figured I'd at least say what I thought of them.
They're speakers... 50 watts a peice, 8 Ohms.

Sound Quality : 7
I've used this cab for a while, but still haven't been able to try it out with the heads I would like to. It has a really nice low end, but I'm sure that has a lot to do with the large size of the homemade cab. Sometimes the mids tend to sound rather muddy and blocked out by the lows.

Reliability : 8
Haven't failed me yet.

Never dealt with em, but I'm pretty sure celestion's a good company.

Overall Rating : 7
ive been playing a good 3 years. I doubt id get these speakers again unless I got a good deal. they work, no real complaints, no real compliments.
