the singer in my band uses these in a 212 stereo cab, a modded marshall 1966a. his rig is ltd ec100--> carvin quad-x --> mesa 50/50--> 1966a. he like the modern scooped soud, even though all his amp gear is made in the early 90s. the rocket 50 help his sound they have more lows, they kinda mask the mids, bad for some but not him. these are good for the nu metal sound, as good or better than the g12-75 imho. these bitchs are smooth too
i use 2 vintage 410s with lots of hi and mids, our bass player use a henry the 88 cab. between the three of us we cover all the freqs. and by using defrint speakers sizes we all cut through a little better ( dont quote me on this its just something that i precive)
good sound for the price, it sure helped us.
btw we play ambiet prog-core, what ever the hell that is?

for $30 is grand but i would not pay more that $50 for these i could geat used g12-75 for that price. these put alot thump in your chest. so kiddies snag couple of these for nu metal, hard core or even nu rock rig.
i been playing for 7 years, and im the local gear king! all my friend got to me befor buying something to get my thoughs on the gear. i own a marshall dsl, hughes & kettner tube 100, carvin quad-x, mesa stereo 50/50 (yes my singers rig and the bass rig), ampeg b5r, fender bassman '67, soldano slo, about 12 difrent cabs, and 9 gutair from gibson to univox.
