It's a speaker for 'tube amps' which I think is bull****.
I use it in my 'Orange Crush 30R' solid-state amp.

Sound Quality : 7
I was looking for some more low end for my Orange Crush 30R and thought this Celestion would be a good match.
Compared to the stock Orange speaker this Celestion has more lows and less real highs. There are highs but these are more the upper mid highs. I quess that's just what the Celestion sound is: pronounced high midrange. It's perfect for classic (Glenn Tipton - Judas Priest) rock sounds which I play mostly.
It's not a clean sound. I use it only at home at lower levels and it already starts to break up. I like it, but it makes me wonder how it will sound when fully driven. Because of the neighbours I've never tried it..

Reliability : 8
Celestions last for years.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed them.

Overall Rating : 8
For just 39 euro this is a very nice speaker. It has the classic Celestion rock sound. It may not be the right choice if you're looking for a clean sound at higher levels. But for home practice it's perfect.
