This amp was born in Nov of 07. I am the second owner. It has two channels non-switching(if you have an A/B box you can switch between the two). First channel has bass knob, middle knob, treble knob, master, and volume. The second channel tone and Volume. Each channel has low and hi inputs like all the other classic Marshall amps. the back has a half power switch of 18 or 36 watts and a negative feedback switch it has three independent outputs for speaker 4, 8, or 16 ohms. personally I wish it had an impedence selector and two outputs. But for all us dummies out there this is a better route. It is LOUD not 100 watt plexi loud but loud enough to cut through drums, bass, vocal PA, & second guitarist. the 18/36 swith is like having 50 watt /100watt one breaks up earlier than the other

Sound Quality : 10
I play Gibson sgs only. Some are very modified with splitting coils and upotted pickups. But the Sg is the only guitar i ever play. I love tons of music but Rock n Roll from the 70's is where I am at and this amp does it! I've owed tons of Marshalls JCM 800 horizontal input 50 watt, 2204 dual channel with drake transformer, superlead plexi 100 reissue no effects loop, JCM 800 vertical 100 watt with 6l6, Jtm 45 reissue no loop, Jcm 900 superlead, 1974x 18 watt superlead clone. This list of amps has been over 12 years of semi-pro playing on the road. I love 100 watt amps but would kill everyone around me . I also love playing at 220 volts. If you ever get a chance it sounds way different. OK now the ceriatone, it is awesome!! I play 2x12 with Eminence Red Fang with a wizard or Swamp Thang. Never too loud and has that 100 watt vibe! It's got the best master volume ever

Reliability : No Opinion
I've had a couple weeks and it seems road worthy. It's Heavy!! It feel like a hundred watt marshall. I love the two channels!! It does cleans very well no matter what guitar you plug in my GOD it is awesome just you tube some of the other ceriatone products. I just bought the 50 watt plexi with Master volume off ebay and can't wait to get it! Nik you need to make T-shirts saying Ceriatone KICKS MARSHALLS BUTT!!! If your into classic Marshalls but don't want some expensive very used old dusty vintage amp buy Ceriatone and buy a Marshall Faceplate. But I am proud to play a Ceriatone don't be a weenie like some many others and put Marshall on this Amp!!I Love AC?DC & Zep too but I don't want everyone to walk out of the room because my tone ain;t right until I crank my amp. This amp is perfect! Te Master is n't all buzz and fuzz like a 900 and it's not too loud like a non master. Very different from an 800 maybe not as Metal but i can get early slayer. but I,m more into the Stones.

Customer Support : 10
Nik at Ceriatone is the best!!!! I Emailed him and he has answered every question! This guy deserve a million bucks for his amps and service! No one at any company do you get such support. He needs wider distro i America but all out there take a risk and try a true point to point hand wired amp. Did I mention this amp is very touch sensitive?I know pups have a lot to do with that. But my other band mate plays a 70's 50 watt Fender bassman it doesn't even compete

Overall Rating : 10
If it were lost I'd be mad as hell! If it were stolen, Buddy I better not know who you are. Rock and Roll is my Life. I play semi-pro which means when I am not on tour I go to my day job of washing dishes. I don't care. I don't think I'll ever go back to Marshall or hundred watts ever again. The years of buying and trading i think are finally over. I do want to try his other clones maybe a Matchless. since Nik is a super cool guy I'll buy direct and live with the wait.

New Amp received: 9/17/07

Versitile: This is a straight up no frils hand wired tone monster! I play Rock, Blues, Country and some Pop. This thing can dial in all generes no problem.

Channels: two channel (one with master volume, one without), but you can also switch the amp from either a 15W or 36W output. Very cool!

Features I wish it had: Hmm...I was looking for a vintage tube tone sound that would break up at lower volumes and I got more than I expected. I guess a hot Blonde delivering it to my door would have been a cool feature...:)

Use: I use this amp in the Studio and Live in small to Medium sized gigs. It has more than enough power to keep you cutting through the mix

Sound Quality : 10
Sound type: It's a vintage Marshall tone. It cleans up nice at lower volume inputs and breaks up real good for the classic Marshall tube tone of the good Ol' day.

Clean/Dirt: The clean side of the amp is real nice. Still warm but not crystal like a JC-120, but I didn't want that anyway. When you drive the volume up it absolutely sings with sustain and the classic Marshall rock tone we've all sought after. It's not a METAL amp.

Guitar Input: I've used my PRS's, Gibsons and a Telecaster all with incredible results. The amp is really sensitive to guitar volume changes and picks up on attack beautifully.

Does it suit my music style: Oh HELL YA! and then some.

Noisy: Nope. I was amazed at how quiet this was. Even with a P-90 or single coil Tele pickup it stayed calm.

Reliability : 10
No issues, and don't expect any. This thing was built with true craftsmanship.

Customer Support : 10
This is almost the best part of the amp. Nik is Ceriatone and he will help you out like no other. Any questions stupid or technical he will answer and keep the sale painless. This category needs an 11!

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 26+ years and have for the most part stuck with the true rock n roll genere. I had an old modified Bluesbreaker 2x12 years ago (was stolen in 96) that was my go-to amp because of the sweet tone, but it needed the higher volumes to break up. So for smaller venues it could not get the tone from the tubes being driven. This amp I wont say "blows it away", but I do feel the versatility and tone is a bit better. The fact that you can switch between 36W and 18W modes is awesome!
