This is an aluminum chassis hand wired clone of a JTM-45 head. Turret board construction. Very clean wiring and layout. Top notch components all the way around. Mallory 150 caps, carbon comp resistors, best quality filter caps, good teflon wire, great pots, etc. Bottom line: It has all the same stuff in it that you would pay $2,500 for from other clone makers.

If you like/know the sound of an old JTM-45 with a tube rectifier and KT88's then you might as well buy this amp because that is exactly the sound you will get. Great. I put mine in a Mojo 18 watt 1X12 cabinet and it fits great, although I had to build a slightly taller back mounting panel. Original output tranny sounded great, but I had an extra Marstran and stuck that in it mainly because it weighed a little less. I wanted a vintage Marshall in the smallest possible lightweight portable package, and that is what I got. Using a Weber Blue dog Alnico.

I build and fix my own amps so it is not an issue. This amp is built as well as any Boutique thing out there, hence it will be as reliable as anything else out there. A hand wired amp at this price is pretty unbelievable. Check the bias every now and again, and change the output tubes once in a while and this thing will last as long as any handwired amp.

I'll never use it, but the fellow that heads up the place knows about as much about Marshall amps as anybody on the planet. Extremely nice people. My chassis was bent in shipping and they sent me an extra one for free.

I am a pro player lucky enough to make a pretty good living playing guitar. I own/use on stage lots of great amps: 55' Fender Super, 69' metal panel, Supro T-Bolt, Top-Hat CR, Several BF Fenders, Several Valco combos, and an old AC30 and numerous home built clones. Wanted a portable Marshall combo, like the 18 watter, but with more power. Originally planned on building one for myself, but in looking for parts stumbled across the Ceriatone web page. I've built enough amps, so I figured I would take a chance and just buy one fully assembled from Ceriatone. Unbelievable quality.
