Had this amp made in 2007. It is a two channel, all tube, handwired, 50 watt Marshall styled amp that I use a HIGH quality switch box with. Highly recommended. It has a parallel fx loop, that I really don't need, but its there. You can get various tones even though its Marshall voiced. The key is to fiddle with the very effective tone controls and don't be afraid to use the master volume! The power is more than most people would ever need. It is a very simple yet very effective amplifier. I went through several prior to and I can say that I'm very satisfied now. I honestly hadn't heard a good amp until I heard Keith's stuff.

Sound Quality : 10
As mentioned, the sound of the amp is very JCM800ish, but that much better. All the components are top drawer, so the tone is very polished. It excells in doing distorted tones thanks to the EL34's but it also cleans up with no problem. With this amp, you can change the power tubes to 6V6's, EL34's, and 6L6's. The distortion is everything from AC/DC to early VH and everything in between and even beyond, blues, rock, even metal. The amp has great headroom for clean as well. I use vintage style guitars and boost pedals at low volumes. My guitars are a US Strat Deluxe, a Firebird V with vintage SD's, and a VOS Gibson SG. All sound amazing and distinct through this amp. My strat sounds stratty and my Gibson's sound Gibsony. You can really hear the difference between the different pickups. This amp is not noisy. The single Celestion G12T-75 speaker really adds to this amps STUNNING tone.

Reliability : 10
Built like a brick !*%# house. Not gigging with it but I know there would not be a problem. Its super light too. Don't believe for a minute that an amp has to be back breaking heavy to have a heavy sound. I can carry the head and speaker cabinet at the same time as if I was carrying light luggage. I haven't had any problems with it to date. I have had other problems with the "other" amps I had prior to this unit. Keep it simple and avoid the problems by staying away from Mesa, new Marshall DSL series, etc.

Customer Support : 10
Very friendly and very helpful in helping to decide what was best for me at this point. Haven't had any repair needs as it hasn't had any problems. Don't know what the warranty is, but I suspect there won't be any problems. Keith fixes and makes amps for a living, so I'm not concerned. He lives nearby so I don't have to ship it back to a factory or something worrisome like that.

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing on and off for years. I own five guitars, two of which are Ovations. I also have some high end pedals... a delay, reverb, boost units, TEESE WAH's (oh yeah, that's the good stuff baby). Basically, I stopped buying junk and starting buying vintage stuff and I've been happy ever since. Works for me, love that tone! If it was lost or stolen I would get another. I've had lots of other amps and ALL were disappointing until I got this. TONE TONE TONE! Also, the cost of this amp was MUCH lower to make than buying the off the shelf stuff. I actually paid less and got the sound I love.
