Best I can tell this is a standard 5E5A 5F4 5E7 type tweed circuit, and I've owned two originals but I swear I've never heard one sound this good. Maybe it has something to do with the way Craig bumps it up to a full 30 watts or the way he wires it, components used etc. Whatever it is, I can say with 100% honesty that his tweed amps are the best value on the market today period! Others that cost twice more pale in comparison, mainly my Victoria, because it's as good as sold. For years I thought more $ meant better tone, not the case at all! Fender should have offered a 2x12 version 50 years ago!

Sounds like a vintage 59' fender but BETTER! The Weber 12A & 12F speakers are the best of both alnico & ceramic worlds. The 30 watts fixed & adjustable bias is the absolute perfect number for home or gigging. Breaks up at the sweat spot of 4-6 on the volume knobs and I can't wipe the smile off my face.

It's warranty'd for as long as I own it, thats god enough for me. With the heyboer, sprague, weber combination I can't see ever having a problem with it.

I bugged the hell out of Craig for nearly a month before placing my order, he took the time to answer all of my ignorant questions and make recomendations based on my needs. I'll buy another from him.

playing 26 years, 5 bands, country, blues, jazz & rockabilly. If it were stolen I'd be on the phone to Craig the same day for another.
