New amp, but last year model. One drive channel(gain, voice, bass, treble, volume) and one clean channel with drive option(volume, bass, mid, treble, and gain with switch). master reverb, effects loop, footswitch(for channels and drive option on clean channel: it makes a three-channel amp).
Silent switching as well as on-and-off powering. Nice. On the back you find a line out(non-filtered) and external speaker jack, which doesn't cut the internal one off. So beware: as it is it only makes 40 watts! 60 with another speaker but I tried and it's not louder then, I really would have appreciated 60 watts as it comes. With 40 you don't have enough power in real life, especially on clean sounds.
It is a well-built thing, the eminence speaker is harsh but for the price what did you expect?
All in all a good practice amp (forget 8",10", only the twelves sounds realistic)

Sound Quality : 7
I only use humbuckers, but with auto-split function in the in-between positions. The clean channel is very good to my ears, warm and lively, precise with shimmering highs, very good job. The reverb has a far too long decay, whatever the setting. So sad because I like spring reverbs.
The drive option on the clean channel is quite bluesy and surprisingly realistic, not as harsh as usually associated with trannies.
The drive channel is modern. Always stright-in-your-face, and fresh. The voice control models the mids and the global response, for my taste always full speed (somewhat smiley-eq) because otherwise the sound is too direct in your face. Lots of gain, no noise except your guitar. Nice.
This channel is LOUD, far louder than channel clean. With an eq pedal in the loop you can make the clean channel louder without distortion, but still there are only 40 watts. It is my mjor complaint.
Since I have at hand some speakers I tried a 4ohm fullrange and it was louder but awfully harsh, as expected. I then tried a bass speaker rated at 100watts max and waow it is still in there and won't leave. The sound is way better, more bass(...) and fullness, far smoother highs and overall louder.
I expect that with a sensitive speaker such as eminence legend v12 the amp will be far better and louder, and since those spekers are quite cheap it is to be serioulsly considered.

Reliability : No Opinion
Only one month, always at full speed, nothing gets warm, no noises or problems, I feel it should last. Cosmetics not, but who cares after all?

The thing is sold through Gewa in europe, good luck with those bastards. E-mail or answering questions is not an option for them. Tip: the very same amp in black cosmetics is sold for 129euros at thomann.de and they stand behind what they sell

Overall Rating : 8
I play since a long long time, I wanted a practice amp that could gig a little bit at times, well for the price it is honest and quite good but not loud enough or maybe with a jazz drummer...
Buy the clone at thomann.de instead (Harley Benton hb80r, 129euro), I won't because not loud enough.
I since purchased a line6 spider2 112 and it is day-and-night, but still the clean channel of the coxx sounds smoother and warmer so it is better in a way... Not to mention the loop, I hooked a sans amp gt2, and also a zoom gm200 to the coxx's power amp and holy lord that's wonderful!
I own too much gear, do not like tubes, or single coils bzzz. I play solid rock, much funk, and some cool stuff.
Bottom-line: with a fine sensitive speaker this amp is a good good purchase. Anyway a great practice amp...
