This is a versatile amp, great clean, nice distortion. The clean channel cranked up with a Gibson Les paul is awsome, i always use marshalls jcm 900 100w, plexis 1959 slp 100w and this is a real monster tone with 30w. I play rock, blues and pop and this is an awsome guitar amp. I love the clean channel cranked up about 7 and 8. I play with HACHE and people gets amazed with this monster

Mine was made in 2006. Made in USA, baby!!! THE "T" in the model number means it comes with a Tone Tubby Speaker.

I have played everything from Jimi to Three Days Grace through this thing and in the mix it shines like a pro. Tube Screamer helps get the extra gain for the heavier metal songs.
1 channel with footswitchable overdrive and footswitchable boost for solos. A feature I was looking to mod one of my other amps for.

I do wish it had foot switchable reverb and came with a cover. I am going to make one. It doesn't have an additional speaker jack on it, but I really don't mind unplugging the other one to run a cabinet.

I plan on expiramenting with different reverb tanks to see if a long one sounds better. Reverb is very nice sounding. I just want to see if I can kick it up a notch.

I use this amp for rehersals and I intend on using it for every live performance.
Class A Tube operation. 30 watts 4 EL84's 3 12AX7A's

I was using a 60 watt Carvin head but I am going to use this as my main amp, now.

It has an effects loop. The manual says that the out is line level so you could record directly from this output.

It came with a all metal footswitch and good quality switches installed in it. It can use any TRS cable so if you need a longer one you can make or buy one.

I am still trying to judge the discreet differences between the Tone Tubby and the Celestions. I am a Celestion guy, but I thought I would give the Tone Tubby a good listen.

Very nice tube overdrive/distortion. Very Marshallish through a pair of G12T-75's. Clean channel breaks up a little bit at higher volumes. But you can run this amp pretty loud and still stay clean.
I use a USA Strat, Ibanez SZ320, a BC Rich The Dagger, and a vintage 335 copy.
Works very well with humbuckers or single coils.

I never like the feeling of knowing I don't have a back up. I don't care what I am using I always have a back up.
No problems with it.
It has a very sturdy and has comfortable carrying handle.
Tube replacement would take a little more work than normal, but hey 4 screws and your there. I have always been paranoid about busting off tubes on my other amps. These are well protected.

Nothing to add.

I have been playing for almost 19 years. I have been through as many amps and guitars as I have underwear over the years. I have used everything from useless pieces of junk all the way up to top notch gear. I must say that Crate nailed it with this one. I can't help sounding cliched, but this amp is amazing. I don't mean for a Crate, I mean compared to the whole market. THIS AMP IS AMAZING!!!!! If you can't afford new, by a used one. I am stunned that Crate could produce such a great amplifier. Crate has finally crawled out of the hole of shitty gear and produced a phoenomenal amp.
