Solid-state 60 watts,single 12"(heavy-duty),footswitchable clean/overdrive,great reverb,FX send/return,both hiZ and lowZ line out w/level control.A very,very versatile little amp.Doesn't look like much,but it has impressed several people who've played it.Covers all my bases nicely.

Primarily I use it with my acoustic guitars(Guild JF-4,212XII 12-string,etc.),but it screams nicely with my ES-335,too! Vastly superior to the "acoustic" amps I've checked out.The distortion is the best I've heard in solid-state,better than many tube amps,if you'll pardon my heresy. For an acoustic rocker like my self,it's very tasty.

Excellent dependability factor, never use a back-up amp(I could plug directly into my P.A. in I wanted/needed to,but thus far I haven't.Plenty loud on a amp stand or chair for all my gigs(at festivals we all run lines out to P.A.)

I've been performing for 24 years, and mostly use Carvin gear for P.A. and Bass,a Fender Deluxe and the Crate CR-60 for guitar amplification. While my taste in music is not the mainstream (and I thank the Gods for that),I think for working class "pickers",the CR-60 is hard to beat-many great sounds, small size, dependability, reasonably priced (I see 'em all the time for less than $150),etc.If I lost this one,I'd have to find another exactly like it.
