For a small combo that only has two eight inch speakers, this unit really rocks! With the right settings and guitar I acheived both a warm, fuzzy rock sound and a clean fantastic jazz sound. I've owned several combos, but this is the smallest and arguably the best overall. My Marshall will always be my go-to, but for the price the tine Crate will always be in my collection. It even speaks up enough to compete with my lead player's Peavey half stack!

It suits whatever I gave it. I used a Epi Les Paul Custom for the jazz settings, and I got to the 7 setting before I hit the ceiling! With and Ibanez Universe, I cranked out enough juice to compete with a Peavey half stack. The distortion is clean enough to pull off a Randy Rhoads sound and chunky enough to scream with Jerry Cantrell.
