It is a good amp.. The best I ever had.. and it is easy to manipulate... Just something I wanted and something I can use. It also sounds pretty cool through my piano.. I also use it's built in distortion to muffle my voice with tha mic.

I bought my amp new about 10 years ago. I play heavy metal, alternative, blues, classical, classic rock, and have even played in country bands. This amp is useful ina all feilds.I have a footswitch for channels, reverb, and chorus. There is effects loop,headphone,2-stereo outputs and 2mono outputs. That's about everything you need for studio hookups, live cabinets, our running through the board.I use this amp for live gigs and also preamp for recordings. This amp not only has enough power, it has way too much power!!! It is solid state which allows you to play in various atmosheres from small rooms to stadiums.I'm using a 4x12 Crate half stack but this amp will run twin 4x12 cabinets with no problemo! That's what this dude was designed for!Actually it's waaay too loud through just one cabint and if you turn it up over 4 on the volume you will vibrate solder joints apart and crash!I'm not sure about the Wattage but it dooes have a warning sticker on the back that says it can cause severe hearing damage and obviously the damn thing has affected my hearing over the last 10 years!!I had it rewired at the dealers to give me stereo through just one cab.

I like playing Van Halen,Mettalica,Nirvana,Stevie Ray, Lynard Skynard, and also clean stuff like Dire Straghts and Stray cats.It does a great job for both types but the over drive is average so I started using a Digitech RP-7 for best overdrive sound. The clean channel suprized me because I have always used Fender tube(christal clean) amps. This one is clean enough to play loud and not fuzz out.

Through the years I have blown out solder joints twice and screwed up gigs, That really sux! It won't handle the power it has! This is the LOUDEST Mother I have ever played, I can blow a 100 watt Marshall stack away with no problem!! That's really what I wanted but after comparing the two I chose the Crate because I could get low volume distortion and built in stereo chorus that sounds pretty good. This guys tough too, I've dragged it around the country side jammin hard and loud since I've owned it and except for the solder joint thing, no problems!

I sent this amp back to Crate in ST Louis about two months after I bought it for blown solder joints in the circuitry. Took about three weeks to get it back. The same problem arose about six years later and I had a electronics dude fix it! Crate service is good and their warranties are too but it takes too long to get it fixed especially when your playing on a contract and have to borrow junkers to fill in!

I've been playing for 20 years and this amp is a good all arounder so It's my main machine. I also own a small HIWATT,a Crate Taxi, and a Fender super reverb. If it were stolen i wouldn't buy it again, I would get a Crate Blue Voodoo Tube amp instead or something smaller, this thing is like hauling around a refrigirator!I like the power it offers and can kick butts in jam outs between other guitar players, I like it's versatility. I hate it's solder joints! they suck! I hope crate is doing a better job with their newer amps!I tried a newer smaller amp but the stereo 4x12 cabinet sound has spoiled me for life, nothing can sound that good in the big aditoriums or just playing at home.

Very Versatile. Two channels (clean, dirty). Stereo Chorus. Effects Loop, Headphone Jack. 2x12 combo. Can probably run a full stack. 120 watts. I wish it had a foot pedal at least for chorus.I can use this amp anywhere. Its a loud little motherfucker. Its Solid State I think. It makes a sonic boom when you turn it on.

It sounds great. The distortion isn't as good so I use a Nobels DT-1 distortion pedal. I use a Dunlop wah pedal also.I use a Squier SuperSonic guitar usually with it. It can get very noisy. Enogh to wake up the neighbors. The clean channel is a bit distorted at high volumes. The distortion isn't that brutal, well in comparison to all the other amps I've tried it is but a pedal sounds way better.

I've never had any problems with it. I bought it used for $199. I thought the speakers were shorting out once. It turned out I just needed a new cord. I would and have used it at gigs without other backups.

I have been playing with it for about two years. I haven't had any problems yet. If it were stolen or lost I would try as hard as I could to get another. Or at least another crate amp.

This Amp is great for intermediate players. It features 2 12" speakers for true stereo chorus (seperate channel for chorus too!). It also has reverb. It has 3 way footswitch (for distotion, reverb, and chorus). It has a headphone jack and a effects loop hook-up It's loud enough for me and it is great!

It's got nice tone. A special feature is that it has a shape knob for distortion which changges the sound of the distortion. THe clean channel is fine, with little distortion at high levels.

It has been very reliable and I would definitely play a gig without a back-up.
