I am 9 years old. I love this amp. It has On/Off/volume, it has tone,
and it has overdrive. It has a headphone jack , and a DC 9 volt jack.
It can run on batteries, or it uses a wall wart. The overdrive sounds really good with rock songs. For this small amp the sound is really GREAT. It has a kool retro look, and it has a built in fold out stand.
The battery is Kool it has a Danelectro seal on it.I give the features a 10 the amp has really good ajustment you can always get the right style for the song you are playing.

When I first got this amp when I played it it buzzed. But my dad had an idea he thought it was the battery cover vibrating. It turned out it was. So we cut out a peice of foam and put it in there. After that it stopped buzzing. As I said before It has a lot of sound for a small amp! I it a 9 becaue of the buzzing.

The reliability is really good. The amp has never broken down. The worst that could happen is it runs out of batteries, or someone steps on it. It has a great reliability I give it a 10 because it has never broken down on me.

I have been playing since I got my first guitar. It was like 2 years ago. I have this amp the bag it came in, another bag, an electric guitar, and a nylon string acoustic guitar. If it were stolen or lost? I got it free! Who would want to steal that amp? If it got broken though, I would probally get a bigger amp. I like the sound the distortion sounds really good. I don't really hate anything about it its nice.I don't wish it had anything else it has all the stuff You would need in a starter amp. For the overall, a 9. All I really didn't like about it was that it made that buzzing sound.

Faux fifties cream colored vinyl gig bag with maroon squiggles and straps. The amp is a transistor radio looking practice amp in a clear plastic pocket, it uses a 9V battery.
The story is; I walked in to my friends guitar shop and the it was leaning near the door with a $18.50 price tag. I asked the the owner "why so cheap", he said he was sick of looking at it so he was selling it at cost. My P-90 Gibson LP Special fit into it so I had to have it. It's good camoflage - good guitar in cheap bag, also if anyone is walking out of the room with it, it catch them.

It sounds like a cheap little plastic amp. I use it for practice at work. I can get it clean at low volume but the distortion sounds a little better. It's better than not plugging in at all. I give it an 8 because it o.k. for what it is.

It's a good, wacky looking, water resistant gig bag with a handy little amp. I think it would be a decent deal at 50 bucks. At $18.50 it's great. And the girls love the bag.

Well, it's a retro-looking vinyl covered gig bag with a matching 9-volt powered mini amplifier attached to the outside pocket, in a clear plastic pouch. I think it looks pretty cool.

I've also got the HoneyTone mini amp, which is a bit thicker. Compared to that the amp with the Amp In Bag sounds pretty cool. Distorts like heck, and at lower volumes you can barely get a clean sound. What can anyone expect from an amp not much thicker than a wallet full of one dollar bills? I rate it against other amps in its class.

Well, I mean the bag is as good as the average bag. I wouldn't run over the amp with an 18-wheeler or something, ya know?

Do they warranty gig bags?

These Dano bags with their own amp are super cool in my opinion. I like the look of the stuff from the fifties & early sixties, and this outfit has the vibe. It doesn't look like every other black bag out there. You just get a cheap crap Dano guitar, and this Amp/Bag thing, and you can jam anywhere. It just doesn't get any cooler, cheaper, and portable!

This is a very small practice amp that comes in a padded gig bag. The gig bag is very nice - a typically cheesy Danelectro design with good padding and extra pockets. The amp is in a transparent pocket, and is a similar size to the Fender and Marshall mini amps. It has most of the important features for an amp of this size - the ability to use AC power as well as batteries, an overdrive control, and a headphone jack.

I've used it with a wide variety of pickups - single coil, lipstick, humbucker, Lace Sensors, Hot Rails, Lace Holy Grails, and a piezo pickup. In order to get good volume from this amp, you need to turn the overdrive control up. With single coil or lipstick pickups, this can get very noisy, so you may be limited to low volume with these pickups. With quieter pickups like humbuckers, you can get good volume without a lot of distortion at lower overdrive settings, and you get a good overdriven sound at higher settings. OF the small amps I've tried, the Fender Mini Twin can get significantly higher volume without distorting. I would give this amp a lower rating if you're using single coils, a higher one with humbuckers.

Seems fine. I can't imagine using it at a gig. Danelectro stuff looks flimsy, but I have had two of their guitars and an effects pedal with no problems.

I've been playing about two years seriously, although I had played some as a teenager. If it were stolen, I wouldn't replace it because I have a Fender Mini Twin and a Smokey Deluxe (which fits in a shirt pocket). That having been said, it is quite a competent little amp. I got it because it came for free with a Danelectro Hodad I ordered, but I'm happy to have it. I would prefer a separate on/off switch to the on/off/volume knob that the Amp In Bag has.
