This amp was purchased new in the summer of 1967 along with 4 10" speakers which are no longer with us. it had been sitting in my closet for about 20 plus years until I pulled it out and brought it to my local music store . Man did I get some strange looks ! I've recently purchased a 15" speaker cabinet for it and it blew me away, after all those years Thanks for the time and the memories. It has 2 external jacks ,two speaker out puts volume treble and bass . It is solid state and heavey.
THe power cord looks acient and I wondering if I should change it.

I play a vox constolation IV teardrop bass and a old fender p bass through it and various other axes through it but mainly bass . It sounds good

I don't use the amp for gigs just for home and rehersals. I would be scared to over work it. It had been fixed once over 20 years ago when some bozo dropped it. So,I kind of put it on the shelve, what a shame.

The real " company " is no longer around so I would not send it to any body but a good tech with early solid state experience

I have been playing on and off for about 30 years. If it were lost or stolen I think I would cry, because you can't get these any more .When this amp was purhased back in 1967, it came wit 4 10" coral speakers (no wheels) Plush was the competion in that feild. It came in at a heafty 275.00

It must have been made in the 1960's. States on the back of the amp that it was made in Neptune, N.J.
It has 2 inputs on the front, volume bass and treble knobs. The back has 2 output jacks and an accessory power outlet.
It has a lot of power, a very powerful amp and a warm tone. Great for the stage or the studio.
It is solid state construction and build very well.
Bassists don't need a lot of knobs and buttons, we just need a great sounding amp which is what this is.

I used danelectro lipstick tube pickups on a custom bass VI (a six string bass/baritone guitar) that I made. Suits bass playing extrememly well, booming sound.

It is about 30 years old I am guessing, but it is built like a tank. It is solid state and I would say very reliable and durable.

I bought this used for $250.00 which came with a cabinet with a 15" speaker. Just plug directly into the amp and play. It has incredible power, can get very loud all the while retaining a sweet warmth. Ideal for stage or studio. You can't find these anymore.
