The DGX15 is a transistor practice amp, made maybe in the late 90's, 5 inch speaker, 2 inputs hi and low, gain, volume, bass, mid, treble controls, and headphone jack. I bought it 2nd hand coz it looked cool, and had the dean logo on it, they make good guitars, so i thort the lil amp would make an ideal shed amp. And it performs that task nicely, loud enough, and with a pedal in front of it, it gives a great sound for a basic little amp.

At the moment i'm using a Monterey stage series electric, les paul copy, has twin paf copy humbucker pickups. Plugged in, it gives a slightly bassy tone, not 2 bad, but needs more treble overall. I like the sound I'm getting outta this amp, by putting a boss super overdrive pedal in front of it,with the treble dialed right up, goddamn, if i aint gettn the angus tone outta this thing. It rocks for a littly.

Been playing 30 years, own a lot of good gear, my main amp's a Musicman RD112 fifty, own several guitars, i like my BC Rich, Marina and Aslin Dane electrics the best. I just like this amp coz its small, and gives a surprisingly good tone, compared to other practice amps i've owned, used or abused. Only thing it lacks is a bit of treble, easy fixed with a pedal.
