Features : 8
This is a more recent 15 watt amp from Dean. It has two inputs; one for low gain and one for high gain. I find that the high gain input is better for playing it clean (straight into the amp), and the low input is great for any pedal with gain (distortion, overdrive). It has an opening in the backboard that would merit it as "open back", but i found it sounds alot better with a closed back (i cut a piece of plywood to fit the back). I mainly use this for practice in my bedroom but ive also used it outside, and it can get quite loud! I gave an 8 for features because there is no footswitch jack or effects loop.

Sound Quality : 9
I play mostly metal, pop-rock, and classic rock, and i can find all these sounds on the amp, without any pedals. The gain all the way up can make a nice metal sound, whereas halfway can make a great classic rock sound. The clean channel does not distort whatsoever, even at high volumes. I an currently using an Epiphone Les Paul Junior P90 (the vintage model. As you probably figured out by the guitar's name, it has one P90 Pickup. It is never noisy, no matter what setting you use that the amp provides. However, it hisses when i use my Ibanez Distortion pedal. I gave a 9 because i had to make a custom closed back cab to get a good low end.

Reliability : 7
I would do a small gig with this amp if i linked two together, but alone, its perfect for practice. The tolex covering is rather fragile and while i was picking the amp up using the carrying handle, my finger nail ripped a tiny piece of the tolex. And im a guy, i have rather short fingernails. I gave a 7 because the tolex is so easy to rip.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never needed it

Overall Rating : 9
Ive been playing for 3 years now, and i own a Washburn Strat Copy, A Fender Stratocaster, A Vintage Telecaster, and my Epiphone Les Paul Junior P90 (which is what i based the review on). My amps are The All Access Amp, A Fender Champ (the original), and a Behringer Firebird. For pedals I own an Ibanez Distortion pedal, The entire Danelectro FAb Pedal line minus the dostortion pedal (those are amazing by the way), an Arion Tubulator, and a Behringer Amp Modeler. I would definetly buy another one if it got stolen!
