this amp isn't very versatile, it's got basic controls, gain, level, bass, trebel, but if you crank the gain and the level, it sounds like ****.

i play metal, and in my opinion, this amp sucks for that. it's good for clean, or blues, but not for metal. don't try and use it for that, it won't work.

I play (or try to anyways) mostly classic rock and heavy stuff. It's got good overall sound sounds good clean and has pretty good distortion

It's only a 40 watt so I don't know how it would hold up at a gig probably not to bad as it is pretty damn loud despite it's small size. I use it mostly aorund the house. I have dropped it so many times many of which i thought i had to have broken it. Surprisingly a fall down the stairs didn't do any damage

I've never had to deal with the company and I doubt I will have too this thing is dependable. I think the warranty is 5 years

I haven't been playing long so this is all I need. If it were lost or stolen I would probably get a bigger more powerful model with more features. I wish it had more features but I dont regret buying it at all

Don't know what year it was made in, I think it might have been 97 or 98. I got it brand new in 98. It has Gain, Level, Treble, and Bass. Very simple. I play music like Metallica (IMHO the best band in the world) and Megadeth, etc. It isn't made for that. It is an OK beginner amp. but you will probably want something better if you are playing that style. If it had better distortion and a Reverb it would be good. I use it at home, It dosen't have enough power for anything else.

I use a Vantage with stock pickups, I have also tryed a couple different guitars in it but for my style it just dosen't sound very good. The feedback is terrible you can't play if the gain is at 10 and the level at 2. The sound isn't very versitle with the 4 controls there just isn't the range I need. It may sound good for your style/equipment but deffinetly not with mine.

It is dependible it has follen from 1+ feet more times then I can count and it still hasn't broken. I would not take this amp to a gig because of it's terrible sound. But if the sound was better I could depend on it without a backup. But I have never needed repairs and the amp has taken a beeting. That is my favorite part of this amp.

I've been playing for over 2 years. If it was broken our stolen I would get a Crate, they sound the best that I have found in my limited budget. I love its dependability but hate the sound. It was my first electric, I started on acustic, so I just got this to start with.

I am ten year old and this is my first amp. I am however a working musician, play mandolin and just got a Danelectro. It is a basic amp, I am an acoustic musician, but had no trouble getting the sounds I wanted without reading the manual. It has 9 watts RMS, is small, only 9.5" x 7.5"

Sounds ok to me, both playing it clean and adding 'heavy distortion' sounds, which are new to me, being acoustic normally, and fun. I play Celtic and folk-rock, sort of Donovan meets George Harrison stuff, then a lot of trad music also. For a little amp is has a good sound at all levels.

Only had it a few days, has worked fine and the shop told me if I had any problems they would 'take care of it.' And they would. So far it has worked perfectly.

Limited 5 year warranty, which seems fair enough, has a mail in card that comes with it.

This amp was a present given to me new by a rock legend, Bobby Whitlock, not only a great musician himself, but one who has worked with the gods, i.e. George Harrison and Eric Clapton, so if he picked it out that's says a lot to me. I like it and I am already looking at a bigger model Dean Markley with a bit more sound.
