'80s issue combo amp. Does it all. Rock, Jazz, Funk. Dual Channel, FET or Tube selectable Pre-amp and extensive EQ. Effects loop. Great for recording, practice, and very capable for live performances with 150 Watts, and two speaker jacks for driving external cabs. The only amp I'll ever need from stage to studio, even without using external speaker cabinets. Loud enough for any venue.

I have used strat, tele and les paul style guitars, all with excellent results. I just dial in the eq I need, and select the tube or FET switch, and the lead or rhythm channel, and I am good to go. Occassionally, I use the effects loop, but don't find I really need to alter the tone much, since the amp is so versatile.
This amp does it all: rock, country, funk, and jazz. This is the best amplifier purchase I have ever made, in the high power combo category.

This amp has performed flawlessly. I once cleaned the volume / tone potentiometers when the were getting a bit noisy, but that is to be expected from any used product (or any new product after a few years of use).

If I had any trouble with this product, I would take it to a "amp tech" at a local music store. This amp is a rugged, basic design, and the rackmount amp and cabinet are built like tank. Since it is a used amp and out of the ususal 90 day to 3 year warranty periods, I don't have any expectations for service. A good amp tech should be able to fix a basic design such as this.

I have been playing for 30 years, and played everything from vintage fender, marshall, etc. to the newer modeling amps. For practice, studio and live performance, this one combo can do it all effortlessly, and it is easy to get the tone I need. I wish they could build this quality and versatility in newer non-botique product. I would buy another if it were lost or stolen, however, these amps are a rare find, and hard to locate.
