Guiatarists ask me why i play 2x12 while my bandmate plays 4x12, afterwards there aren't any questions ;) I play something between Alexisonfire, F4aF and harder Stuff, and you don't need a 4x12 to do that - this great cab proofs this!

Actually it has a really great sounding at cleans, too. Very rich and clear sound.

I used it live, at practise and in studio.
if i had the money i'd buy anotherone to put in the car, so i never have to be without one ;)

12x2, I think it's just the same size as marshall 1936 12x2 cab or bogner oversized cab. it has 8 ohm mono or 16 ohm stereo input. black satin side handles, etc., by the way, mine's got 2 celestions.

as a recording professional, I personally prefer 12x2 cabs more than 12x4 size cabs. and these day's marshall cabs are made of chinese shit and 1936 is one of'em,too. I found that my mesa boogie 12x2 recto cab is full of muddy bass and booming, sucking the highs, after I tried bogner oversized cab. To me, that's the best 12x2 cab you can get in the market these days. Diezel cab, yes, it's also a great cabinet just like bogner. I use many different amplifiers, to give you some hint, I got Marshall JCM800 modfied by R.Bogner, Diezel Herbert mk2 and so on. And at every session gigs I had, this Diezel Cab always sounded so great, that I can rely on. The better part of it comparing Bogner's, is that this one has a Stereo Option.

This is the (brand)new 2x12" Diezel rearloaded cab. Size width like Herbert head, casters AND rubber feet, Diezel Custom Speakers (Eminence), 50-60 Watts per speaker, mono and stereo outs (via shorting jacks, no switches). Speakers are 16 Ohm, so either 2x16 Ohm in stereo mode or 1x8 Ohm in mono mode.
Metal corners (heavy duty), durable tolex (black), built like a tank.

How to describe "new" speakers in a "new" cabinet?
Firstly the cab sounds with Herbert, VH4 or a 50 Watter Marshall very round and open, it does not fart out (even with Herbert when used @ DM settings) and has the right mix of attack, bottom end, punch - but also smoothness. I`ve never had a better 2x12" so far.
Soundwise @ bedroom volume its like a combination of G12H/CL80 - at gig-volume like a V30s/G75T combination. I`m very very satisfied with it in all situations, no matter where, no matter what.
Clean, crunch and leads are simply amazing thru it. Not that ice-pick of V30s, not that "over-Hifi" of G75Ts - very very good choice, Peter.

Built like a tank - and c'mon: its a Diezel :-)

A perfect cab for perfect amps.

I`m playing since 25 years, gone thru almost all available gear on this planet and ended as a Diezel user - amp- and cabwise. Peter always selects the best (built-wise and soundwise) parts for his products.

As I`ve said: I`m using this for home recording and smaller gigs with either a Herbert or VH4 head. Sounds excellent, records excellent, not too heavy, not too light - its plain and simple a perfect 2x12".
