This amp was made in 2005, has gain, volume, 3 band EQ, 6.5" speaker, and a headphone jack. For a practice amp, it has enough features for you to work with.

I have an SX SST-62 Strat copy I use with this amp. I go between a lot of different styles and the amp can get those styles decently well. You can extract a decently clean sound out of this amp, but you'll have to play around with it. If you have a lot of gain it doesn't sound good. I don't use a lot of gain, around 5 or so and the amp handles that pretty well. That's just enough to let it distort, but not so much so you can't tell what you're playing. The amp will naturally buzz if you have a TV or computer near it. Since my room is small, the amp is within 6 or so feet of either a TV or computer, so it tends to have a bit of buzz. While playing you won't notice. That will also depend on what pickups you have.

This amp was made pretty well. The outer covering is a very tough plastic, sort of like what you would find on a guitar case. I've had this amp for 8, going on 9 months now without a problem. I try to take care of it. I still keep it in the box it came in when I'm done using it. You couldn't gig with this, not enough power. Plus the sound isn't what you'd be looking for to gig with. For practice, it's fine.

Never had to deal with the company. I believe it came with a one year warranty.
I can't really rate this considering I've never dealt with them.

I've been playing 2 1/2 years or so. I have the aforementioned SX SST-62 and a First Act acoustic (which is better than you'd think). If it were lost or stolen, I probably would replace it. I'm saving up for another amp though, but still, this is a good amp if you want to go to a friends house and not risk a better practice amp. The only thing I don't like is the fact that you have to roll the gain way down to get a pristine tone out of this amp which makes you have to turn the volume nearly all the way up to hear it. But for a $30, I doubt you could do too much better.

The features aren't too bad. I got it with a Drive S102 guitar at Musician's Friend. I've played keyboard for a few years, but I'm a new guitarist. The distortion that's built-in isn't too good. I don't put it above 2 or 3; I also use a Digitech RP50 processor with it, so I don't need the amp's distortion. Only one channel: it would be nice to be able to plug a CD player into it or something. Three band eq which I haven't used again because of my RP50; I keep them all pretty flat. The power is more than enough for the small room where I play. It has headphone jack, but I don't use that either.

Again, I use an effects processor, and it sounds pretty clean through the amp. I mostly play alternative music, but I like to use my distortion, phaser, and flange and they all sound good.

I haven't had for too long. I'll probably post again after it's broken in a little. I don't plan on gigging with it because I'm still learning guitar. However I wouldn't be afraid to take it with me because it is solid and heavy.

I've ordered a few things from Musician's Friend, and never had a problem. Everything was undamaged even coming all the way to Guam via USPS. When I write them by email, though I don't get a response right away. You would probably want to call them, which I haven't tried.

Again I am a new player. This is my first amp. But I think it sounds good for its size and price.

i got this amp simply to practice with in my room, my roland jc-50 was simply too loud.
i use it with an ibanez, with jackson humbuckers and an older esp with stock single coils and a carvin humbucker, effects include danlectro fab tone and Daddy o , also use it with my acoustic electric
this sounds damn clean for a cheepo only gets noisy wioth the vol at 10 and th egain at about 8, the distortion can be pretty bad at higher levels but fairly subtle at lower settings, super clean with gain at 0

the chasis is built like a TANK first thing i did was stand on it so i could reach the power strip,
however it being a cheap amp i would never gig with it, but thats not what it was bought for this is a practice amp folks

I have been a bedroom guitarist for 13 years and have played with a few bands, so i know a good practice amp.
if this thinbg were lost or stolen i would replace it hell at 30 bux no biggie right,
I love that this think is built like a brick but i wish it had an 8" speaker the 6 is a bit small and can rattle a bit when you crank it up
basiclly if you want a cheep amp that is just an amp for banging around on in your room this one is for you, if you want a marshal stack sound dont buy this one
