Pretty much wrapped up in other reviews

This was easy - I just cut and paste other reviewer because he nailed it perfectly!!!
You
CANNOT: Use any sort of effects pedals on it. I tried my MT-2 on it and the amplification was pure fuzz.
CANNOT: Get good clean sound out of it, and only a medium amount of distortion.
CANNOT: Replicate heavy distortion or grunge without getting a load of fuzz along with it, so much you can't tell what you're playing.
CANNOT: Avoid getting booed off the stage if you use this in a gig.
Its a fair amp for PRACTICE, amazing PRICE.
The guy that designed the outer casing of the amp should get promoted for making it so tough and reliable.
The guy that designed the actual amplification of the amp should get fired for being so dumb and ruining a potentially stellar amp.
Its a good amp for beginners OK with a fair aount of distortion and effects, but thats about it.

Practice amp - that said - it is a sturdy little fella.

I suppose this is yer basic beginner's amp. Parents - buy it for your kid and see if they stick with guitar long enough to merit something better. I bought it because for simple practicing in my music room, it didn't make sense to me to fire up the boogie DC-10 or Hot Rod Deluxe just to play scales and practice tabs.

Yer normal practice amp with Gain, volume, treble, middle, and bass knobs. No special channels, just input and headphone jacks. Its very portable and is easy to use. Its easy to dial up the sound you want, cause there aren't too many combinations to make.
This amp doen't have many features. It is limited in just about every way. Thank goodness it at least has gain. I can't recreate the sound of the music i listen to (metallica, pillar, etc), but you can at least dial up as much distortion as the amp can handle, that's better than nothing.

I'm using an ESP F-200 with stock EMG-HZ pickups.
The amp isn't great for my music style (metal/hard rock) it doesn't supply me with the crunch and grunge i like. Then again, what practice amp under $50 does? You can still dial up the distortion you like and get a decent tone, but nothing really heavy.
If you spend a little bit of time fooling around with the knobs, you can get some overdrive, distortion, heavy bass, just a bunch of general things like that.
The BIGGEST PROBLEM with this amp is that you always have to palm mute what you're playing. If you don't, the amp keeps trying to pile chord and chord on top of each other, not knowing when to stop amplifying one chord and move on to the next. So you have to manually, through palm muting, stop or at least dull the strings after playing each chord.
This works out OK for me because most of what i play is palm muted, but it gets real annoying when that's what you have to do every time to get a good sound out of it.
Sound clarity isn't very good. My guitar (the ESP F-200) has a lot of acoustic sound, so you can play it unplugged and tell what you're playing easily. But that's the only way i can really tell what i'm playing plugged in. I tried recording a couple of songs on my computer through a connection in the headphone jack, and i'm serious, i could not tell what i was playing. It was terrible. The simple fact is, the amplification quality is low.

Its very dependable, very cool, i'd use it in a gig if it sounded better. It has never broken down ever. No buzzing (besides from the amplification itself), minimal hum, its reliable. As tough as a brick too.

For this part, i'm just going to state what you CAN and CAN'T do with this amp
You
CAN: Get a sweet deal with this amp, under $40 for an amazingly sturdy amp, not "cheaply" made at all.
CAN: Get acceptable sound if you dial it up right and palm mute correctly.
CAN: get a couple different sounds out of it, for a little extra versatility.
You
CANNOT: Use any sort of effects pedals on it.

Three band amp with gain distortion. 6.5 inch speaker, 10 watts.
This is a great little practice amp and a real steal from Musicians Friend or zZounds. You have to keep the gain down somewhat or it distorts too quickly, but for what it is and what it costs it is good.

Like I said above, It is a great little practice amp, but it distorts a little too much for me. When used as a practice amp it is just fine tho.

I also own a Behringer GX112 Blue Devil, Oscar Schmidt OE30, Kona KE-1 and other assorted banjo mandolin harmonica type gear. If lost, I would buy this amp again. Cant beat the price. Heck even a First Act Walmart Special cost 60 bucks for a 10 amper.

The features on this amp are pretty simple. It has one channel, volume, gain, three channel EQ, 6" speaker, and either 10 or 15 watts.

I use a Strat rip-off made by Drive with two singles and a hmbucker and a Digitech effects processor. I play blues, rock, Christian, and alternative. It gets noisy if you turn the gain up, which also just makes it fuzzy, not crunchy like I like, so I don't use that distortion. The clean channel (gain below 1/4) only distorts when you turn the volume all the way up and play hard. It is, by the way, able to hold its own against a Roland Cube15, which costs like 4-5 times more. I actually use this to play in church, and everyone can hear me.

The amp is heavy and solid for a cheap amp. I think it's more reliable than the expensive ones. I know if I drop it, it'll still work.

I've been playing for only nine months, and this is my first amp. It's great for a first practice amp cause it's so cheap.
