Just got it from Musicians Friend so it's a brand new 2007. I play mostly classic country, rock-a-billy and old rock. This amp has 2 channels that are switchable with the pedal and built in effects. It also has an effects loop and a head phone jack. It really does everything I want it to. This amp is for practise and small jam sessions. It does seem to have plenty of volume.

I actually like the distortion. I also like the delay and reverb. I rarely use chorus or flange which usually sound like crap to my ear so I wont comment but this little amp does have them. Surprisingly you can dial in some pretty good distortion and a very impressive clean sound. I play mostly a mim Strat and a mim Tele. I also have a couple of Les Pauls which I have not tried yet. As of right now I'm quite impressed with this little amp. It is very quiet and will do just fine for what I bought it for.

As far as reliable I cant say cuz I just got it. At first look I was amazed at the good looks and sturdy construction. The $10.00 foot pedal is made out if steel and appears indistructable. It changes channels and has up and down for the DSP. Hard to believe it has all this for $89.00. I'll give it a 9 for all that.

Musicians Friend says it has a 5 year warranty. Hard to believe for the price.

I've been playing since 1957 and I have owned many Fender amps and guitars and basses. Also Peavey amps guitars and basses, Ovations and Gretches, Guilds and stuff I cant even remember. When this amp arrived today I couldnt even believe it worked for the money. Drive has factories in Korea and China. Normally I would not buy stuff from those countries. I simply needed a light amp so I took a chance. Amp is 24 lbs. I can tell you for the money Fender and Peavey cant come close to this baby plus it has a 10 inch speaker.. Actually when I first plugged it in I thought it sounded like shit but after a couple of hours it started to sound pretty damn good. I played the crap out of it and must have broken in the speaker cus it sure came around just fine. I will buy another in a heart beat.
