I use this amp with a squier standard tele, a knockoff but excellent strat copy of a 62 strat and an EXP LTD explorer style guitar with emg humbuckers. Amp has a great tube tone with creamy tube distortion. Not a metal distortion, but great for blues and classic rock, very controllable. Sound is surprisingly good for the small speakers, but sounds awesome when amp is lined out to a bigger speaker setup. Despite the lack of reverb, it has an excellent sound.

Unfortunately, Drive is out of business. This was the same company that manufactured Switch guitars. The amp seems very well built and looks like it would handle everyday use and gigging very well. I am giving it an 8 because the company is no longer around

Overall, I am extremely happy with this amp. If it was available again, I would definately buy this again. I love the sound and features and comparing it to the modes from Fender, Crate and Epiphone, it rates as well if not better. I wish it had reverb, but none of the tube amps in this wattage range carry reverb. This amp is very well built, and the one I picked up is virtually brand new, and for the price I payed, I feel like I got a steal.

10 Watt Tube amp with 2 6 inch speakers. For a 10 watt, has a lot, low mid and treble controls, drive and volume controls, boost switch with a jack in back for footswitch control of this, line out jack and most important, a standby switch. No reverb, but for it's size it's got quite a bit.

Has the great natural breakup that tube amps are famous for. Excellent clarity and is good for picking techniques in that play light it is clean and strum harder, the distortion comes through. Does not get metal tones, but that is what pedals are for if that is your style. Gets great tube blues and classic rock sounds. Surprisingly good tone for the small speakers, and I'm sure it would even get better with different tubes. Overall and excellent tone.

Unfortunately, drive amps are no longer made as the company went out of business. Drive was part of the switch guitar company that went out of business. The amp looks solid, and is put together very well.

I got lucky when I found this one at music go round. I have been playing for 25 years and own a tele, strat and esp ltd explorer style guitar. If it were lost I would cry because I got this for a great price, If it were stolen I would hunt the son of a ***** down. I give it an overall of 8 because the company is out of business.
