My "rexy" was made in 1968.
The scheme of this one has the date of 16 october 1963.
2 channels, no switching.
You can use the echo-unit plug for special effects
It has all the features I need
I use the amp at home, it gives more than enough power 36 watt measured at 1khz

I use self-made guitars, 3 of them with humbuckers (gibson, duncan, schaller, epiphone.
1 strat-like with h-s-s...
I play mostly the blues, in a gary moore way..
The amp?is a little noisy, but I don't give a damn..it is part of the blues

Our home voltage has been risen over the last few years from 220 to 235/240, this amp is made for 220, but regarding the over-capacity of all inside components it won't be any problem. I think that I would use it without a backup...
I bought the amp -part a few years ago, without any case around it and serviced it by myself, there are telefunken tubes in it.
It needed a few new pots and a capacitor didn't look very well, did some minor adjustments, that was all... (I added a smart fan for the el-34's)
It took more time to build a new housing...

I mailed the manufacturer in germany, explained what I was doing.
Two days later the post arrived, with a complete scheme and with some handwritten note, wishing me all the succes, and if I had some troubleshooting with a device, or other questions for `rexy`, I could rely on their technical service by phone (giving me a number that would directly putting me in contact with the technical service).
For me that was old-fashioned service!!!

I'm playing 30 years or so, I own a lot of other stuff like pedals (even got a fender phaser from the late '70).
If it were stolen or lost?? Don't want to think about it, but I would try to find the same again (whit that age it won't be easy)...
I love the tone of the total equipment, the smooth and soft overdriven amp. The total simplicity of the volume and tone adjustments, no warp, crunch or other fuckability!!! (nice word!)
After long thinking...., I am 45 years old now, I think it's the weight, by the time I am 75, I don't think I can manage the stairs with it...
Yes now I know what I'm missing>>> a standby switch...(hmm, think I'm going to fix that myself)

Made in early sixties, two channels (no switching of course) with ecc81 and ecc83 tubes, a tremelo (ecc81) Phase inverter (ecc81) and two el34. Basicly a German Marshall bluesbraker with 2 10 ichers. They carried a smaller model with 2 6v6's that was named Twen. There are also din inputs (in case you would feel like crancking out Voodoo chile on you accordeon). It's not very loud, someting about 35 watts, but it stays pretty clean till the end so compareble with a Fender concert, clean wattage like.

Not a magic amp (whatever that is) but tube tone in it's purest form. Warm en thick sounding with a nice compressed tone when overdriven, very good for old rock'n roll (it likes Gretsches en es 335's) but this is pre metal (pre everything almost) so forget about that Ibanez 7 string. It'doesn't like pedals either, it'll get him fizzy but boost your signal with plain volume and it will sing like bird. This is an amp for powertube riding. A AC30 on el34's? Nah..

Watch out with those old tube amp. It's like your old car.. is it worth the fix or is it smarter to buy a new one? Technicians first have to figure out how the thing is supose to work and that takes time and time is.. right. My advice with those amp; if there's no big hum with the volume all the way up, there is probably no serious problem. Anyway, this amp is made of overpowerd quality components and no cheap affair. From the same people who brought you Mercedes, Porsche, Audi and VW

Dyancord is like Yamaha, they dont care about a forty year old product but they are very willing to give you the adress of you local Dyancord dealer for their newest products. But their are people out there who publish amp schemes on the internet.

Of course I would buy this again, a very good sounding tube amp with telefunken tubes and two vintage alnico speakers for 100 bucks? Are you kiddin me?
