The amp cabs are made when you order them. This company treats all orders as if they were custom orders. Amazingly good and they let you configure the cabs any way you want. If you need something special - just contact them. It is never a problem. This is an amp cab and the only versatility you need is that it accepts standard cable plugs for both In and Out. Another versatile feature is that you can ask for whatever sized rubber feet on the bottom (for stacking or for more level to the floor situations - they also offer whatever cab covering you want or type of handle or no handle. That is what is so nice - you get exactly what you want - not some off the retail shelf 'take it or leave it' cab.
So you can configure it as you want - that is versatility at its best however the actual cab itself has no bells or whistles - this is a cab - not an amplifier or guitar. But that is what makes it so good. simple, elegant and rock solid.

Thanks a bunch - nice of you!
These Boa cabs sound great. (Purchased 2 of them to have a very portable 2x10 mini-stack)
I call those two Boa 1x10's the mighty mini-stack! They stack perfectly and solidly and level with the higher rubber feet. No tilt or wobble. Nice! And the higher feet lift the bottom cab off the ground just enough so I don't get that floor vibration noise and it helps to project the bottom speaker a bit better.
The 1x10 cabs were filled with Eminence speakers - 10 in. Ramrod in one and 10 in. Rajin Cajun in the other. Those speakers compliment each other nicely and those cabs are rock solid. And the closed back designs you have are really tight - not some rattle trap - so the 1x10's sound a lot bigger than they really are and project the sound nicely. Can't thank you enough.
The extra bracing inside the cab shows nice quality and the wood is not some 1/8 in cheap ply. Most any other place is never going to put the quality into any 1x10 cab like you guys have.
So far I'm really happy with the setup. Even the pre-drilled speaker screw holes matched up with the Eminence speakers. Perfect. Made it all very easy to simply hook up the speaker (a quick wrap and solder - thanks for including the solder) and it sat in there perfectly and the holes lined up - put in the screws and that was it.
I thought I might need to add in some damping material to the inside of the cab - but I chose to leave it out and I'm glad I did. No need for damping - the speakers ring out clean and clear without that muffled 'boom' or boxy hollow echo that some cabs can give you.
My kids here are amazed at how a proper set of 1x10 cabs can sound -- they thought you had to have at least 2x12 to get good tone. It's nice to know that this old dog still has a few tricks to teach 'em. Thanks for setting a nice example of how it all starts out with a properly built cab.

These cabs are built very solid. No cheap pressboard or thin plywood. And all the internal wiring and hardware are first rate and heavy duty. The speakers install as front loaders so it makes installing speakers really easy and you have a solid closed back that remains closed (no need to go through the back). Easy speaker drop in and install. The screw holes are pre-drilled (to mount the speakers) and everything lines up perfectly. Once you see their cabs you will understand the difference between excellent and cheap junk. These cabs should easily last a lifetime.

The best. EarCandy is excellent to talk with and they will do whatever it takes to solve any problems. Actually you will probably never have a problem but it is nice to be able to actually communicate with the same people that build your cabs. Try that on some cheap import junk or some regular retail brand. The thing is - their cabs are very reasonable in price - and when you buy these cabs you buy them to last a lifetime. Not some cheap pressboard or plywood cab that will break after a year or two.
Anyways -EarCandyCabs has excellent customer support.

I know it might sound like I am a shill for EarCandy - I can assure you that I am not - in fact if I was not so pleasantly blown away by how good these cabs are I wouldn't be taking the time to write it down here and make comments.
Any time I need a cab built or a cab for any reason - EarCandy will definitely get my business again.

Very solid & light. Brand new-won for a steal in an e-bay auction. I use this cabinet for blues harp & blues guitar (single & hb's) with an epiphone valve jr. Nice hardware & has a line out for daisy chaining - cool! Came loaded with an Earcandy Clone 10" speaker. 8 ohm version.

I only give it a 9 because it is a 10" speaker & does not have the low end of a 12". Sounds very tight w/good articulation playing clean/low volume. With tubes fully overdriven it sounds just as good - nice'n thick without any rattles or speaker "blatts".

I am planning on trying to "steal" another one on e-bay, only a 12" Boa next time. I highly recommend Earcandy and their products. In fairness to Tim, I will not list what I paid for this cab - it was an e-bay oddity. Worth every bit of regular retail price though! Cab took a while due to bad weather in their neck of the woods, but he added a trans back (it was purchased as an open back) to make up for it. As good to deal with as they come!
